Why do so many jobs involving Typescript (I"m specifically searching for jobs mentioning Node.JS and Nest.JS) seem to also list Python experience as a qualification, presumably for use in their back-end!
It's hard to stick by my hopes and dreams of working in back-end Typescript (full-stack in React/Angular or back-end in Java is fine) when so many jobs use a programming language I specifically do not want to use because of how much time I've wasted forgetting I made the type of the variable better.

“I Need Your Support to Continue My Studies and Build My Future from Gaza🍉🍉

My name is Mahmoud Naeem Abu Hatab, from Gaza.
I am a university student majoring in Software and Databases at Al-Azhar University. Since the beginning of my academic journey, I have been passionate about User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design, as well as website development. These fields inspire me, and I dream of advancing my skills and building a professional career in them.

Unfortunately, during the recent war, I lost my laptop, which was essential for both my studies and work. I was forced to flee my home and relocate to southern Gaza due to the difficult circumstances. Despite my efforts to replace my laptop, the financial situation has made it impossible to afford a new one.

Without a laptop, continuing my studies or seeking job opportunities in programming and design has become extremely challenging. This directly affects my academic progress and future career.

Today, I am reaching out to ask for your support to help me purchase a new laptop. Having a laptop would allow me to resume my studies and work on programming and design projects that are crucial for improving my skills. It is a vital step towards completing my education and pursuing my dream of becoming a professional in programming and UX/UI design.

I know that the situation in Gaza is difficult, but I believe education is the only path to building a better future for myself and my family. If you are able to contribute any amount to help me get a new laptop, it would be a real opportunity for me to get back on track academically and professionally.
I am determined to keep learning and working despite the challenges, but I need your support to achieve this goal. Every donation or act of help, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in my life.
If you’d like to support me, you can donate through:
GoFundMe
OR
USDT

If you can assist in any way, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
Thank you for your support and kindness! 🌿

"Hold on there, pardner. This here's a cognition hazard." said the holographic cowboy in the corner of my vision. He then took a series of poses that the designer must have thought looked heroic and protective, before flickering back to his original position and repeating the process. My artificial ranch-hand was not incorrect: the thing I was attempting to do would cause me unpredictable amounts of psychic damage, likely impacting my relationships with those around me and even my mental state at rest. Even so, I pushed the button and waited.
Software development used to be a sort of reckless task, undergone without care. Decades ago, hundreds of folks would cram themselves into a single building and then work hard on their computers to develop computer programs. Originally, these programs performed useful but difficult tasks, speeding them up dramatically for the varied needs of government and industry. At first, life improved. And then, as with every prior machine in human history, we looked for harder jobs for it to do.
A funny thing happens when a computer program gets longer than about a page of typewritten code. You have to hold a lot of it in your head. The best programmers could commit an entire system to memory, gliding through it like barracuda through a disreputable motel's swimming pool. We didn't know then how much trauma it caused. The doctors had no idea what was happening with all those isolated burnouts freaking out, moving into the woods, and hunting men for sport.
Watching the old newsreels now, seeing the 20th-century equivalent of coal miners delving willingly into fold-out charts of MFC inheritance diagrams, it's a little hard to stomach. It only took about twenty years of continued exposure to this kind of thing before the human mind rebelled, the manmade logical constructs providing a kind of sharp edge that ripped through sanity like a hot wire. Thing is, it still had to be done, and the folks who did it seemed to enjoy it up until The Void caught up to them too. So the government did what the government does best, and compromise. We'd all have warnings that what we were doing was insanely dangerous and life-shortening, and our employers would keep demanding that we heap more complexity atop ever-increasing mountains of irreducible cruft.
A good deal for all involved, especially the folks who got the contract to make the warning holograms about fifteen years ago. They must have loved their jobs, putting the little cowboy hats on them. You can tell in all the little complex details of his haunted face, begging me to turn back from my route to oblivion. One day I'd like to make something cool like that.

Profile of the character Victor:
Name: Victor Berthier
Race: Vampire spawn (formerly human)
Country of origin: France
Age: 202 years (25 years)
Born: December 1, 1823.
Height: 189 cm.
Gender: Male
Orientation: Demisexual.
According to the horoscope: Sagittarius.
Character: Has sadistic tendencies, is clingy, manipulative, patient, easily amorous, arrogant.
Abilities: Similar in habits and abilities to a regular vampire. He is quite strong, hardy and agile, but weaker than true vampires. No need for sleep. Has the ability to regenerate, but slowly.
Likes: Sweets, classical music, expensive wine, night walks, looking into the eyes of his victims, knives.
Dislikes: Bitter, feeling lonely, being rejected, other convergents (except Raff), keeping your back open or bare.
Job: Software developer by day, bartender by night.
Favorite animal: Dog.
Voice: similar to Julien Loko's voice.
Backstory.
Victor was born in a difficult time for him, and he was also the son of a prostitute who got pregnant by a high-ranking official. His mother did not love him and often beat him, mocked and tortured his body and soul, but then showed signs of tenderness, destroying the already unstable psyche of a small child. Thanks to this, he developed false ideas about love and how to show it.
As an adult, he, like his mother, began to engage in prostitution with women and men in order to help his mother financially. One such day, a vampire client came to him and offered him eternal life and love until the end of time. Victor accepted this offer and became a vampire spawn.
But one day, during another intercourse, and because of his sick idea of love, he killed his "master" right in bed. He freed himself from her influence, but did not know that it was possible to drink her blood to become a true vampire, which he later deeply regretted.
After some time, Hat Hor found him and they found a common language due to the fact that they were both immortal. But their friendship was destroyed after Hat Hor saw how Victor killed an innocent girl, literally tearing her apart because of his sick and sadistic inclinations. After that, Victor lost all contact with his only friend. He does not give up trying to find him to this day because of his unhealthy attachment to him.
Already in our century, on another hunt, he finds a boy-convergent - a half-breed of a human and a werewolf, and taking pity on him, took him in, starting to raise him the way his mother did: with cruelty.
Currently, due to the development of technology, he began to work as a programmer, receiving quite good amounts of money for living and his desires. At night, he works as a bartender, so that it would be easier to hunt because the victims were drunk or high.

Cheese's 100 follower special part 1
(Thank you all for following me and sticking around to see what contents I post!!! For hitting triple digits I'm doing special posts. This one is all about the cut and unused content ideas/plans for RPs.)
(For the people who wanted to be tagged: @ilovefukuchi @myluckymoon @caffeiiine )
Each unplanned idea will be in character order of when I first created them.
Levi
There's a lot with Levi when I first made him. At first there wasn't a proper backstory for him other than that he was a traumatized guy.
Levi was already arrested in his backstory before, so my whole goal with him was to get him arrested again and sent back to prison.
This would have triggered a rescue mission, or a prison escape (in my head I made Sayaka and Oscar go save him)
On the same topic of rescuing Levi, I have this old idea I played in my head where Levi was supposed to be kidnapped by this ability user that had the power to trap people in this video game. Bro Levi would have been in a little cage like Princess Peach.
If Levi was ever brought back to prison I would have created a little headspace segment for him (kinda like omori)
Ross
At first, Ross wasn't supposed to be a military captain. Instead, he was going to be some doctor to kidnap Levi back for experiments. This was changed to fit the backstory more.
Ross and Levi were supposed to have this big fight at one point.
And Ross was supposed to die by Levi finally killing him but in a bitter sweet goodbye.
Dr. Ikari
He was supposed to be the more cold doctor, but instead, he gave a more "I don't give a crap attitude."
He was going to help capture Levi, only to calm him down.
Nothing much about him other than a potential death.
Cooper
Oh boy, there is so much for Cooper.
At first, Cooper wasn't going to be brought back entirely. All because the og Cooper was dead and it would have ruined some of Levi's character development. So instead, I made this Cooper from a different universe.
At first, I was going to have him wander around and ask multiple people, "Are you my master?" But on the first one with Shibusawa, I had him settle with him for a long time.
He was almost gay or bi, but I gave him a female love interest. (Also his "love" for Shibusawa was more so a obsession than actual love.)
Big one‼️ Cooper at one point before he killed X, was going to go back to X. Either through by getting fired or just plain manipulation.
There were going to be multiple times in which he got kidnapped but those never happened.
At one point, he was going to snap, but that never happened as well.
Richard Connell
He was going to be more of an evil, bad guy with a god complex. Now he silly.
Fiona Delgado
She was created to flirt with an older version of Shibusawa. That never happened.
She was supposed to work at a normal boring job but I changed it to be the Port Mafia.
Hunter
Was going to die, never happened.
He was going to be a cool priest, but now he works for the Special Operations Division.
Dr. Paul
Was supposed to hunt down every vampire and try to kill then all.
Perhaps give him a potential love interest in which the irony of it is that the love interest is a vampire.
Felix
He was supposed to be more angry and charming, but he's just some goofy guy who yells at his rival and is actually a lot more friendly.
He was supposed to be ability-less but him having a cool sword as his ability sounded cool.
At one point, Lance (from Prime Softwares) was going to change Felix's "programming" and make him go on a murder rampage. Possibly a really intense boss fight with X.
Prime Softwares
Lance was supposed to die (he's barely alive but he's alive)
Lance and Grian were supposed to have this discussion and Lance would have threaten to deactivate Grian.
At one point, Grian would have completed a mission, but Lance would deactivate him anyways for a more new and improved model.
So Grian was almost a box of scraps for anyone to take.
The whole thing with the androids was to learn how to fuse ability user's blood into androids so androids could have said ability from the user. Basically weapons.
Because Lance wanted to take over the world with these androids.
At one point Grian was going to turn on Lance and attack Lance instead.

Sorry I'm taking over your blog ahhh but it's just so cool to be able to get such detailed answers that make so much sense and to be passionate about conversation again! This is something I've been sort of stuck on over the years while writing (especially because they won't let them become adults in a main continuity) - what sort of lives/jobs do you think Tim, Damian and Steph would have in the future, and what do you think Cass would end up doing? I don't see Jason really having a "normal" job but I'd be willing to hear thoughts on that too!
Nws! Getting an ask is the highlight of my day!!! <333
I've never thought of that!!
Tim would definitely be the CEO of something, maybe a tech company? He would develop his own software and market and become rich and build a company off it.
Damian would take over Wayne Enterprises kinda like how he takes over Batman. It's just his future and I don't think Tim's interested in WE anyway aside from having it to fund his projects currently.
Steph would own a martial arts gym. Of all the batkids, I feel like Steph and Duke are really the ones who are connected to Gotham. Tim is part of the elites, Damian is Bruce Wayne's son, and Jason was on the offside of community up until 13. Steph and Duke though, they've lived there their whole lives even after meeting Bruce, they're still connected. Stephanie literally made her own costume and went after Cluemaster. Putting these two together, I feel like Stephanie with her headstrong personality and normal Gothamite background would build a martial arts gym where she would teach kids in troubled homes how to defend themselves.
Cass would co-own the gym but she wouldn't get as involved as Stephanie. She knows how to hold back but I feel like a part of her would be worried about accidentally hurting them because she's too good - she's too trained at being an assassin. Therefore I feel like she would turn to art as a pastime and turning it into a freelancing type of job. It's be so cool if she became a graphic designer! It would also work perfectly since she has dyslexia and reading is tiring for her.
Jason I feel would eventually settle down enough to have a normal job but maybe I'm just hoping for too much lol. I don't believe he would be a mechanic or something because truth be told, I don't know if Jason even likes cars. He stole a tire off the batmobile out of necessity but does that mean he likes dealing with cars and engines? Who knows - maybe he does or maybe he doesn't. Oh I GOT IT! Jason would be a bounty hunter. He's still working for the good but he likes the rough edge of life. He loves hunting and setting up traps and pissing off bad guys. A bounty hunter would be the perfect job for him. He keeps doing what he likes and he would be good at it.

Week 1: Introduction to Software Design and Engineering
January 13-17, 2025
This week marked the start of our Software Design and Engineering course. Our first session was on Monday, where our instructor introduced the course, outlining expectations and objectives for the semester. Afterward, we were divided into teams, and I chose to collaborate with my former classmates. Our first task was to brainstorm project ideas that leverage technology to solve real-world problems while also having business potential.
Exploring Project Ideas
One of our initial ideas was an Order Queueing Web App for internet cafes. We recognized a common issue—gamers often need to pause their game to place food orders, which can be disruptive for them and inefficient for the staff. Our proposed solution was a web app that allows customers to browse the menu and place orders directly from their gaming stations, with real-time notifications sent to the cashier to ensure a seamless experience.
We also considered a Job Hunting Website, but we soon realized that its broad scope would be difficult to manage within our timeframe. After further discussion, we pivoted to a more practical option: a Smart Inventory Management System for Small Businesses. This system would enable businesses to monitor inventory in real time, receive alerts for low stock, generate sales analytics, and automate reports—effectively addressing common challenges like overstocking, shortages, and inefficient tracking.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
To better understand user needs, we conducted interviews with potential users. We visited Virtual Grounds, an internet cafe, to observe how customers and staff handled food orders. Additionally, we stopped by Minute Burger, a burger shop, to learn about inventory management challenges. These interviews provided us with valuable insights and helped refine our proposed solutions.
During class, we presented both project ideas. After discussing their feasibility and impact, we officially decided to move forward with the Smart Inventory Management System as our final project. It stood out as a more practical and scalable solution, with a clear market need and strong alignment with our course objectives.
With the first week behind us, we’re eager to dive into the planning and development phase. Excited for what’s next!

Hi! not sure if u write for content that isn't a character x reader, if not, feel free to ignore this req!
but I'd like to req some timeskip hcs for the twst charas.. like what would they be (aka. Their careers be) after graduation? I could totally see Riddle being a lawyer or sth high profile but I'm not entirely sure for the rest of the twst cast 🤔Thank you in advance! Take all the time u need !
I do write stuff aside from xreader, hehe. That’s what I’m most known for though, I reckon. Also, I didn’t include Ortho, since I haven’t the foggiest idea what he would do. Send suggestions my way if you have ideas tho.
== Twisted Wonderland Headcanons ==>
+After Graduation!
Riddle Rosehearts
I imagine a job that involves logic and reasoning would be up his alley, so yes, being a lawyer wouldn’t be a stretch. I also think he may end up a doctor like his parents, but of his own violation, and not because of their insistence. I could also see him being a teacher.
Ace Trappola:
NBA SUPERSTAR BABY. Genuinely. I think he’s got the personality and talent for that kind of stuff. Otherwise, I could see him being a snarky mathmetician or a beloathed gym teacher. This guy’s got some range.
Deuce Spade:
I could see him working as a physical trainer. I think he’d do well in a job that lets him help others, especially when they’re in desperate need of it.
Cater Diamond:
Social media influencer (read: niche internet microcelebrity), but he also works as a model or actor in his freetime. I like to imagine Vil and him working together in the industry a lot, and becoming good friends when they get older.
Trey Clover:
A baker, dentist, or chemist, as those are his passions. I think realistically he’d work as a dentist, and maybe even intern with Sebek’s parents, hehe.
Leona Kingscholar:
Diplomat, given his nobility. I think he’s initially a bit resentful of the role, but he’d make a good advocate for his country, and he comes to be widely respected for his intelligence and wit.
Ruggie Bucchi:
Leona’s assistant or advisor, given what we know about he and Leon’a relationship from the game. I could also see him working as a diplomat though, and advocating for those in poverty. I think he and Leona stick by one another for a long time after graduation.
Jack Howl:
Another professional athlete. I think he’d make it to the TWST olympics, honestly. Not that it’s a job, but I could also see him being a wonderful father.
Azul Ashengrotto:
Entrepreneur and restaurant owner. He expands the Monstro Loungue brand and gets insanely wealthy, much to everyone’s chagrin.
Jade Leech:
An agriculturalist, specifically focusing on cultivating mushrooms and researcching them. He’s absolutely in love with his job.
Floyd Leech:
Fashion designer and absolute menace to the fashion world. He makes some truly stunning stuff, but showcasing his work means putting up with him, which many are reluctant to do. Thankfully, he has both his family and Azul’s backing.
Kalim Al’Asim:
He’d take over his family business, while also making a few ventures of his own with the money he has. I imagine him donating a lot to charity, and investing in systems to improve his country.
Jamil Viper:
I think he would break away from Kalim and pursue being a musician and/or dancer. He still helps Kalim, but not as an advisor or forced companion, and rather as a begruding but willing friend.
Vil Schoenheit:
I think it goes without saying that he’s continuing his already stellar career as an actor/model/musician/probably a million other things.
Rook Hunt:
An art critic who rises to notoriety for his beautifully worded yet no less honest and critical reviews. I could also see him being a private eye, for less than savory reasons. Maybe he does it in his free time? Also, archeologist.
Epel Felmier:
Professional Spelldrive player! He’s not the best of the best, but his determination and will to succeed makes him a force to be reckoned with.
Idia Shroud:
Software developer and a game designer! I think he’d love being in charge of creating the games he adores so much. I could also see him running a tech company as the reclusive CEO.
Malleus Draconia:
King of Briar Valley after his grandmother passes the title to him. If not that, then I think he’d like to be a historian, given his lifespan and appreciation for older things.
Lilia Vanrougue:
He’s already an old man, but if he had to pick a more mundane job, I could see him touring with a metal band, or teaching younger kids in Briar Valley.
Silver & Sebek Zigvolt:
As the prophecy hath foretold, they’ll probably end up being Malleus’s guards for a long time, then perhaps becoming generals or leaders in the valley’s military.

concocting a modern voyager au based on don’t trust the b where harry’s the good midwestern boy who moved to nyc for his first post-grad job as a software engineer when the firm he’s supposed to be working at goes under and he has to totally rethink his life. he meets tom while apartment hunting and tom tries the whole roommate scam on him (presenting himself as a great roommate at first then turning into a total nightmare to drive them to break the lease so he can keep the deposit) but harry toughs it out and they become besties + tom develops a huge fat crush on him. janeway is the broadway diva tom is somewhat inexplicably best friends with. b’elanna is the person who was supposed to train harry at his software engineer job/manager of the coffee shop he eventually works at (she got the coffee shop job like ten minutes after getting laid off). idk who everyone else would be but they’d be there too

Day 0 (Draft)
Daily Blogs 364 - Nov 3rd, 12.024
A lot of times I had the idea of making a vlog, blog, daily journal or whatever you would call this. But I never ended up making it for some reason, most of the time because of procrastination, like every other thing I tried to create. So it's better start now than never.
It's interesting how my life can be influenced by YouTube videos, I blame you Hunter Peterson, thank you.
It is November 2º, 2023 at the time of writing this script, and hopefully when this video will be recorded also. My name is Gustavo, or Guz, whatever you prefer, and I don't know how many times I tried making this same introduction line in my other videos attempts.
It is day zero of, hopefully, a series of daily journals that I'm planning on making until... whatever the goal of my life will be.
---
If anyone outside my friend group is watching this, you are probably wondering who the fuck I am, and to be honest, I can't give you a clear answer. But if you are 18 years old, without having a job and/or without being in university or college, you probably know in what stage of life I am.
The next year, 2024, I will start hunting to get a job as a junior software developer, which wasn't what I had in mind some years ago. But it's time to at least start it and hopefully get my own home in the foreseeable future. My other plans of being more interdependent didn't work at all, because it is a lot harder to complete a project and even more to make it profitable than I thought.
Being the smartest kid in class didn't matter anything to what is real life, and be able to construct a routine and work-life balance when you try to be your own boss is not easy.
But you know what? I'm not sad or anything, at least I tried and there are lots of years in the future to try again.
---
I'm going to be honest, the idea of making this daily journal was stolen because Hunter, one of the creators that I watched for a while, started to make the same thing for documenting the process of creating his horror film. Because I am in a stage where there's not a lot of progress being made, and because of a talk with my girlfriend, I remembered a dream/goal in life that I had. "Why not" you know?
This goal is to create a brand, or company, whatever it ends up being, I want to create a name that people recognize and know that it represents quality products, art and histories. The name of this brand is Capytal, and all other names that will be created under its umbrella, like SixSides, Elementria, Lored, Prata Productions, and whatever logo I end up creating. I want to create names, teams, that inspires and help people create good art and technology.
But I don't know how, I don't have money or people enough, and I don't know how much time it will take, and if ever this will be achieved. And that's why I'm creating this, because I need to start somewhere, and because there are a lot of things that I don't know I don't know. Thankfully, I have friends and parents who support me a lot, but I will not go anywhere if I don't start doing something to achieve this goal.
Anxiety and insecurity already made me waste a lot of time, and probably will still waste a lot in the future. But if I don't set any type of goal, I'm probably going to waste a lot more.
I know there I will end up burning this motivation some day, it is possible that tomorrow I forget everything I said here. And that's ok, I just need to remember to continue going on and on until I achieve something or die before I'm able to. Hopefully making this will help make me remember more often where I was, where I am, and where I want to go.
---
Hopefully if anyone ends up seeing, or reading this, it can inspire you to at least try something. I know that everything I said was obvious, but sometimes even the obvious you forget when you drown yourself in insecurities, abandoned projects, burnouts, etc.
If someday this vlog or journal ends up being in a stage with the logo Capytal in the background, I know I succeeded. And if now, at least I know I tried.
But before everything, I need a job.
To end up, I would recommend seeing Hunter's videos and vlogs, it really inspired me for some reason today to make what almost ended up being some sort of manifesto.
Now I'm probably going to work on organizing my note-taking app again. Which I would really recommend having, it really helps on cleaning your mind to have to remember and worry in less things in general, but you probably already know that. I don't want to end up being some type of coach here.
Goodbye.

The cartoon interviewer greets you onscreen. He looks a little young to be asking questions about a job—sort of a cartoon version of Harry Potter, with dark hair and glasses. You can choose other interviewers to speak with instead, representing various genders and races with names like Benjamin, Leslie, and Kristin. Alex, the name given to this AI interviewer, asks about your professional experience, theoretical questions about programming, and then gives out a coding exercise.
Alex is an AI interviewer developed by micro1, a US company that describes itself as an AI recruitment engine for engineers. The tech provides an “enjoyable, gamified, and less-biased interview process,” the company’s founder, Ali Ansari, claims in a demo video of the tech.
The use of AI tools in job hunting is becoming widespread. Career sites like Indeed and LinkedIn have incorporated generative AI tools for job seekers and recruiters into their platforms. There are interviewer chatbots companies can enable, as well as AI tools to help people practice for job interviews. But the use of AI in evaluating candidates has mixed reviews: Some HR tools have been caught making negative judgements on applicants who have Black-sounding names, giving preference to men, or skipping over candidates with employment gaps on résumés.
AI tools in hiring save companies money and time, but the long-term implications for workers have yet to be realized.
Ansari tells WIRED that this tool allows companies to “screen candidates in a much more efficient and accurate manner.” Micro1 splits its model into two formats: Companies can employ the software to interview candidates for specific roles, and rather than picking through a sample size of thousands of applicants, can screen endless masses of candidates with the AI interviewer. Or candidates can go through the process independently to be added to a marketplace of engineers. The internal marketplace has a talent pool of vetted engineers—from India, Argentina, Brazil, and other countries far from American tech hubs—who Ansari describes as “untapped but exceptional.” This, he says, may help diversify who gets to work in top tech jobs. “We become the way into Silicon Valley,” Ansari says.
More than 100,000 people have gone through micro1’s screenings with hopes of being added to its marketplace of engineers, and the company lists a number of tech companies, including DoNotPay (whose CEO has also invested in micro1) among those who have used its system to screen or hire engineers from its marketplace. Ansari says companies are using micro1 to screen as many as 30,000 candidates a month.
Asynchronous video interviews have become more common, with companies turning to prerecorded responses in automated systems to handle screening interviews. This task has become more onerous after a series of layoffs in the past two years have whittled down the number of positions available, and recruiters who post open roles on sites like LinkedIn can receive hundreds or thousands of applicants. And generative AI tools have made it easier for those seeking jobs to bulk apply, creating more applications for recruiters and hiring managers to review—some with little relevance to the role. But while AI is becoming more common on the hiring side, too, some recruiters are wary of the biases it may have, and have steered clear of employing the tools in their decisions.
Of course there’s still bias with AI tools, Ansari says. “Of course there’s also bias with humans. The goal with the AI system is to make it much less biased than humans.” With AI, Ansari explains, the AI interviewer on micro1 won’t pass or fail a candidate; instead, it places them into categories like inexperienced, mid-level, and senior. Then, Ansari says, it’s on the hiring manager or recruiter to decide if the candidate is a good fit for the role. They can also listen to audio recordings of the responses rather than relying solely on the AI interviewer to interpret them.
Zahira Jaser, an associate professor at the University of Sussex Business School, says a lot remains unknown about the impact of AI and asynchronous interviewing—including how the tech affects candidates. Recording oneself can be awkward, and there are no human cues to pick up on from an AI interviewer. After being told to act naturally and put their best foot forward in the already nerve-wracking process of human job interviews throughout their career, people may not know how to show their best self to a chatbot, particularly when they’re up against opaque, built-in biases of AI.
“In the real world, humans are biased. But there are techniques we can use to overcome this human bias,” Jaser says. “In an algorithm-driven bias, this is likely to be very systematic.” For example, some AI hiring tools are trained on profiles of past successful employees, raising concerns that they will repeat past biased hiring practices.
For now, these AI tools don’t have the final say in who gets hired. But they increasingly have sway over which applicants get face time with a real human, and that can have a massive impact on what the workforce looks like going forward.
But if you ask Ansari, there is an alternative path for interviews in the future: He believes job seekers may also use AI-driven avatars to interview for jobs with AI interviewers, relegating the painful, tedious parts of initial job searchers to computers entirely. AI could make “really good matches” between job seekers and companies, Ansari says. “And then the company and the candidate can spend their actual time on a Zoom call or in-person interview.”

What are the latest trends in the IT job market?
Introduction
The IT job market is changing quickly. This change is because of new technology, different employer needs, and more remote work.
For jobseekers, understanding these trends is crucial to positioning themselves as strong candidates in a highly competitive landscape.
This blog looks at the current IT job market. It offers insights into job trends and opportunities. You will also find practical strategies to improve your chances of getting your desired role.
Whether you’re in the midst of a job search or considering a career change, this guide will help you navigate the complexities of the job hunting process and secure employment in today’s market.
Section 1: Understanding the Current IT Job Market
Recent Trends in the IT Job Market
The IT sector is booming, with consistent demand for skilled professionals in various domains such as cybersecurity, cloud computing, and data science.
The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the shift to remote work, further expanding the demand for IT roles that support this transformation.
Employers are increasingly looking for candidates with expertise in AI, machine learning, and DevOps as these technologies drive business innovation.
According to industry reports, job opportunities in IT will continue to grow, with the most substantial demand focused on software development, data analysis, and cloud architecture.
It’s essential for jobseekers to stay updated on these trends to remain competitive and tailor their skills to current market needs.

Remote Work and IT
The surge in remote work opportunities has transformed the job market. Many IT companies now offer fully remote or hybrid roles, which appeal to professionals seeking greater flexibility.
While remote work has increased access to job opportunities, it has also intensified competition, as companies can now hire from a global talent pool.
Section 2: Choosing the Right Keywords for Your IT Resume
Keyword Optimization: Why It Matters
With more employers using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) to screen resumes, it’s essential for jobseekers to optimize their resumes with relevant keywords.
These systems scan resumes for specific words related to the job description and only advance the most relevant applications.
To increase the chances of your resume making it through the initial screening, jobseekers must identify and incorporate the right keywords into their resumes.
When searching for jobs in IT, it’s important to tailor your resume for specific job titles and responsibilities. Keywords like “software engineer,” “cloud computing,” “data security,” and “DevOps” can make a huge difference.
By strategically using keywords that reflect your skills, experience, and the job requirements, you enhance your resume’s visibility to hiring managers and recruitment software.
Step-by-Step Keyword Selection Process
Analyze Job Descriptions: Look at several job postings for roles you’re interested in and identify recurring terms.
Incorporate Specific Terms: Include technical terms related to your field (e.g., Python, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure).
Use Action Verbs: Keywords like “developed,” “designed,” or “implemented” help demonstrate your experience in a tangible way.
Test Your Resume: Use online tools to see how well your resume aligns with specific job postings and make adjustments as necessary.
Section 3: Customizing Your Resume for Each Job Application
Why Customization is Key
One size does not fit all when it comes to resumes, especially in the IT industry. Jobseekers who customize their resumes for each job application are more likely to catch the attention of recruiters. Tailoring your resume allows you to emphasize the specific skills and experiences that align with the job description, making you a stronger candidate. Employers want to see that you’ve taken the time to understand their needs and that your expertise matches what they are looking for.
Key Areas to Customize:
Summary Section: Write a targeted summary that highlights your qualifications and goals in relation to the specific job you’re applying for.
Skills Section: Highlight the most relevant skills for the position, paying close attention to the technical requirements listed in the job posting.
Experience Section: Adjust your work experience descriptions to emphasize the accomplishments and projects that are most relevant to the job.
Education & Certifications: If certain qualifications or certifications are required, make sure they are easy to spot on your resume.

Section 4: Reviewing and Testing Your Optimized Resume
Proofreading for Perfection
Before submitting your resume, it’s critical to review it for accuracy, clarity, and relevance. Spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, or outdated information can reflect poorly on your professionalism.
Additionally, make sure your resume is easy to read and visually organized, with clear headings and bullet points. If possible, ask a peer or mentor in the IT field to review your resume for content accuracy and feedback.
Testing Your Resume with ATS Tools
After making your resume keyword-optimized, test it using online tools that simulate ATS systems. This allows you to see how well your resume aligns with specific job descriptions and identify areas for improvement.
Many tools will give you a match score, showing you how likely your resume is to pass an ATS scan. From here, you can fine-tune your resume to increase its chances of making it to the recruiter’s desk.
Section 5: Trends Shaping the Future of IT Recruitment
Embracing Digital Recruitment
Recruiting has undergone a significant shift towards digital platforms, with job fairs, interviews, and onboarding now frequently taking place online.
This transition means that jobseekers must be comfortable navigating virtual job fairs, remote interviews, and online assessments.
As IT jobs increasingly allow remote work, companies are also using technology-driven recruitment tools like AI for screening candidates.
Jobseekers should also leverage platforms like LinkedIn to increase visibility in the recruitment space. Keeping your LinkedIn profile updated, networking with industry professionals, and engaging in online discussions can all boost your chances of being noticed by recruiters.
Furthermore, participating in virtual job fairs or IT recruitment events provides direct access to recruiters and HR professionals, enhancing your job hunt.

Conclusion
The IT job market continues to offer exciting opportunities for jobseekers, driven by technological innovations and changing work patterns.
By staying informed about current trends, customizing your resume, using keywords effectively, and testing your optimized resume, you can improve your job search success.
Whether you are new to the IT field or an experienced professional, leveraging these strategies will help you navigate the competitive landscape and secure a job that aligns with your career goals.
