Hey Owl! What’s the funniest Ship you ever seen on a Pjo poll?
Please tell me it’s something on the Lines of Jack x Riptide, that’s quite humorous
This is just for laughs. Thanks! ^^
Jack x Riptide is not only one of the tamest so far, it's also semi-canon so I hardly consider it rather out-there. It's not even a crackship.
Tbh most of the ones have been relatively tame. So far it's been nothing I haven't seen before or none that are particularly "out there." Honestly some of my own are probably more bizarre than most I get on the ship polls (Arion/Blackjack is actually a legitimate ship I've had for awhile).
I think funniest though would be the ones where the logical ship name ends up being the same as an extremely popular ship. I was cry-laughing over Bianca/Will (Solangelo) for like a solid two days. The absolute power move of that ship was too amusing to me. Annabeth/Alex (Fierrochase) or any combo of Hazel or Bianca and the Grace siblings (Thunderworld) are similarly up there, but they don't quite match the absolute ballsy energy of Bianca/Will Solangelo.
I think my second wouldn't exactly be one ship, but instead there is an entire section of the spreadsheet that's just a big ol' chunk of Alabaster ships that the TA server provided. That one's amusing cause it's just like 40 Alabaster in a row.

Hey Owl..I was wondering one thing, Since I was
Thinking about it..I would like to know..If you have to give Nico Di Angelo a Rival or Enemy besides those we know like Byrce, Octavian, Ahem ahem Cupid..Who would you? How would they be and why?? I am excited to know your answer because Though I have one Major Idea..I wonder if people have the same..
Actually my friend has been working on an AU where we've been discussing this exact topic, so I've been thinking about this a bit recently!
Bryce and Octavian are the easy answers, or Minos. Honestly Eros/Cupid I don't treat as Nico's enemy or rival - their dynamic I more attribute to like, Nico is Cupid's blorbo and Nico is very distressed about the arrangement. I do similar with Achlys too, though she's also a good option for a potential adversary for him (perhaps trying to keep him "perfect" in his misery?).
If we're including like, giants and monsters, Dr. Thorn/the manticore is a fun option, same with Geryon for some TTC/BotL callbacks. The twin giants are also an easy one. Pasiphaë could be interesting if you wanna play around with her hating Nico for Minos/labyrinth-related reasons and maybe being a shared enemy between the Death Sibs.
My first thought answer though would be Melinoë! Her and Nico fight in Sword of Hades (well, kind of - more of she just makes Nico cry), so we know she's antagonistic towards him already. I think there's a lot of fun and interesting stuff you could do with their dynamic, since as far as we know from canon Melinoë is only Persephone's daughter, not Hades' (which is standard in her mythos - usually she's Persephone and Zeus' daughter), so she's Nico's immortal step-sister. The idea of them having beef about their family dynamic is kinda fun. You could potentially also play around with Nico's other immortal siblings/associates, like Zagreus, Macaria, and the Furies (who are sometimes Hades' kids and sometimes not. Nico does have a preexisting dynamic with Alecto which is fun).

Hey Owl,
I must know…Would you be down for a New Rome Book/Roman Myth or are you just waiting for the Pjo series to end after the 2nd TSATS Book? Lmao. I’m kinda mixed.
at this point i just want it to end o<-<
yknow there was a day back in like 2020 where we all thought the series was over. because rick said it was. and we all cheered and celebrated cause it was a good time for it to end and we all felt it was right and it was beautiful. and then rick announced four more fucking books for PR and advertising reasons and ever since i've wanted to slam my head into a wall. he better not get any more ideas i swear to god.
#pjo#riordanverse#rr neg#ask#quickhere-34#my thoughts about a roman trilogy are entirely based on the idea of ''if rick had wanted to do an actually interesting continuation''#and trilogy series and stuff *instead* of what he did with the marketing trilogy and nico books. then he should have done pjato-era romans#but its too late for that and i dont want him to touch it with a ten foot pole#cause everything thats been coming out of the franchise recently has been total garbage

If there were Rirodanverse Games, Be for all the books..What Game Format would you want those to be? If supposedly they all shared one ofc, if you want. Tell me Multiple if that is more your sentiment. Thank you👍
That's a tough question, hmm... We do already have the Lightning Thief movie DS game. And Demigods of Olympus was originally a choose-your-own-adventure app. There was also that online game thing CHB: Austin did during the pandemic. It was really cute actually I really loved the little automaton owl character.
Honestly I think a choose-your-own-adventure thing like Demigods of Olympus would be best for an overarching thing. I mean, just kind of by virtue of it being still a book as a game adaptation of a book franchise. The version it exists as now is pretty simple, but it's still fun. My other cop-out answer is really any game format with a strong narrative focus XD
Other easy answer is an RPG, obviously. I could totally see something in a format like Undertale working for PJO. Or possibly an open-world type thing. Maybe even a rogue-like (I know the overlap of PJO fans who also like Hades game, lmao).
As a like, aside-game rather than a direct adaptation of any part of the franchise though, I think you could easily make just about anything work. Riordanverse is inherently kind of a vast pool to draw from. I'm actually working on a project right now of a pjo visual novel, since I know of some fan projects in the past in other fandoms like that.

Heyo!! So..What do you think Happened with the Eeleyed scene “Nachos after war”.
Why do you think Rick Deleted it off his page and do you have somewhere I can find it (even if it’s through the way back)?
lol. I’m just curious! Thx!
Rick has deleted a lot of his old blog posts, particularly ones that had poor reactions to them (like his posts about Piper's feathers or how he wrote Samirah). If it's deleted, my guess is just either he decided he didn't want it easily available anymore or his PR team recommended he remove it.
I personally have a downloaded version that's just the text in a pdf, but you can find it on the wayback machine here!
