I read so many fics these days describing Brienne’s insecurities and how she wouldn’t believe Jaime’s love, and I could almost buy into it. She is very insecure due to her looks, and it seems reasonable she wouldn’t believe Jaime’s love. But then I open the books and read about how she calls out for Jaime in her dreams, believing he would come back to her. How she tightens her hold on oathkeeper when she’s in distress, linking it to the Maiden’s token of love. How she thinks about slinking back to King’s Landing and weep on Jaime’s shoulder. And what’s best, Jaime has proven in his pov that he’d do it all. He’d come back for her, gift her priceless swords as a token of trust, and wishes to comfort her post red wedding. Yes Brienne is insecure in many things, but she absolutely knows and believes that Jaime cares deeply about her, and any doubts she might have she would convince herself that Jaime is sincere and wouldn’t lie about his intentions (like how he is sincere with finding and helping Sansa). If Jaime realizes and confesses his feelings, I actually think she would believe him, and place her trust in his love.

genuinely irritated about the prevalence of brother-sister character designs where the brother has a huge nose and the sister has a tiny nose. 1) why are you a coward who hates the joy and beauty of women with big noses 2) have you looked at any real human siblings lately 3) why do you appear to think the nose is a secondary sex characteristic

do you ever just … picture a whole scene, a whole fanfiction in your head, you know how to place every single word of the english dictionary that you need (or your language dictionary), you know how to structure your sentences, you know just what your characters are going to say to each other and then… and then you just open microsoft word.

I just want y'all to know I check my tumblr in the morning and someone's discussing ecology restoration and someone is posting photos of medieval manuscripts and someone is gushing about a blorbo I've never heard of but it clearly just makes them so happy and someone has tagged me in a quiz and someone is speculating about an aspect of Middle-Earth or Greek mythology that I honestly have never considered and maybe making art about it and everyone is making their little corner of existence better and more loving in some way and I just love y'all so much
