I got a new lavender purple eyeshadow and I like it a lot. It's very subtle so it hides the fact that I never learned how to blend eyeshadow. I also got a holographic glitter eyeshadow topper because of course I did.

Hey, first off just gotta say, I love you're comics, and honestly it makes me wanna start making comics of my own.

One question I have, how do you make basically perfect shapes for the frames/panels in Procreate? I'm used to working in Illustrator, so Procreate is still very new to me. I apologize if that sounds confusing 😓

Well, thank you very much! Happy to hear it! What I do is I use the quickline feature. If you draw a loose approximation of the line/shape you want, and keep your finger/apple pen held down on the screen, it'll snap into a perfect shape. You can read more about it here.

🍓 What's a fic you've written you feel is underrated?

Hm, hard to say. I think there are always stories that you're proud of and wish got a little more recognition. Everyone's tastes are different and what some see as underrated others may see as mediocre. I suppose the story of mine that flies under the radar is "She Loved This Man".

🍎 Is there anything you straight up won't write?

Yep. Omegaverse. I wrote one once for a competition and didn't care for it. Not really my speed. I'm sure there's other things where if asked to write I'd put my foot down, but that's what comes to mind.

🍌In your opinion, what's the funniest joke/reference/pun you've made in a fic?

While I do consider myself decent at comedy with some good jokes and quickliners throughout my stories, I think my favorite is from my monster of a fic This is Why:

"What do you mean they changed the time of the hearing?! I have to give 48-hour notice to change my appointment with the dentist and she's my mother!"

How do you do your page layouts for your comic? Do you hand draw them or have a downloaded pamphlet? I hand draw mine but that makes it a little tricky to keep the lines straight and not accidentally erase them. What’s your page layout process if you don’t mind me asking?

I hand draw my layouts, but I use quickline to make my borders neat and pristine.

After I've completed my rough sketch of where I want everything to go, I'll start building the panel borders on a separate layer.

Also, (though you can't tell from the video), I always make sure to keep the panel borders on their own separate layer from the drawings! That way I can adjust the illustrations all I like without fear of accidentally messing up the layout.
