#personal#quick update:#all lectures have wrapped up all labs have wrapped up#two tests one term paper one quiz one homework module four lab reports left. plus one optional bonus quiz for extra credit#my jobs a work-study position so turning up next week is fully optional and i may or may not bother#im not even gonna touch on health issues we dont have the time

I never fully understood when Winry told Ed that she should be the one to cry for them—until it happened to me. My grandmother passed away last year, and I’ve never seen my father cry. Several months later, after a heated discussion between us, he said he would appreciate it if I valued my time with him a bit more. He made the same mistake with my grandmother. It was a heavy moment, but I cried. I know the emotion isn’t mine, but still, I cried.

Tuesday: spend most of the afternoon working on an education module for work; topic is assessment and management of common issues kids come to ER for
Wednesday: work a twelve hour day assigned to ER. A total of three patient all day are adults (out of fifteen-ish)
#and then today i am doing the comprehension quiz for the module because i didn't have time before bible study on tuesday#and had a video call inservice about what to do if a hemophilic kid comes to ER#it definitely feels like this week is 'oh so you wanted to brush up on pediatric care?'#nursing#randomness
