Ben Barnes as Sam Adams in Sons of Liberty. These stills are close to identical, but since he looks so handsome in this scene, why not? :-)

The world needs more Galadriel/Halbrand stills, right? These were rather tricky, since the original footage was horribly dark. I did my best.
Halbrand manages to look hot even though he's dirty, sweaty and hurt. Charlie Vickers, you are such a blessing.
You're welcome to use these; just tag me so that I know somebody had fun with them. ;-)

Ep2:
Galadriel: Bind yourself to me.
Ep6:
Halbrand: Fighting at your side, I... I felt... If I could just hold on to that feeling, keep it with me always, bind it to my very being, then I...
Love the parallel.

My #1 post of 2022
It was two weeks ago that my heart was broken, revealing Halbrand to be Sauron. I was not surprised. I was just hoping that, despite everything pointing in his direction, somehow, he would turn out to be human after all. Because I love Halbrand and... we all know how Sauron ends up. Boo.
Anyway, to "celebrate", here are some still of Hal smiling, laughing or being amused. Some turned out better than others.

Reading One Piece pt 260: To Be Free
Chapter 507
Thoughts:
- “I shouldn’t babble about things Shanks didn’t tell you about” Readers everywhere are devastated
- So Shanks in New World, huh
- For his friends, coating is for free! Rayleigh rules
- “I have a question” Robin?
- “What is the “Will of D.”?” !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- ANSWER HER PLEASE
- “Do you know what happened to the world in the Blank 100 years that started 900 years ago?” “Yes, we know” !!!! I didn’t even think about it!
- Huh?
- “But don’t get ahead of yourself… Miss. Take it one step at a time as you travel on your ship. It seems that we and those on Ohara… were too hasty” ????? I’m totally lost here, not gonna lie
- “I can tell you everything but I think you should see answers for yourself” now this is a great answer. Absolutely ill-advised for real world but for manga? Go for it, see for yourself
- (not that checking stuff yourself is bad. It’s good advice in pretty every situation. What I’m criticizing is that they just don’t do recon and walk into everything totally blind. And a historian should take sources from everywhere they can. They could die, for god’s sake, the more records the better, even if they’re not fully correct, at least it’s a starting point)
- “I’ll pass. I’ll continue on this journey.” Everything I just said. But to be fair, Robin’s not only a historian, she’s an adventurer too. She wants to learn and experience things, not just to know them. She’s Indiana Jones of One Piece
- And that’s the story of how we Learned Nothing Plot-Relevant For Very Uplifting Reasons :)
- “Another thing – Roger didn’t actually decipher those ancient writings.” He talks about Poneglyph in Skypiea and what
- “He was able to hear the voices of all things in the world.” Ooohhhh, so that’s why he tells Robin to look for herself. They didn’t actually read the thing, Roger just… heard… voices…
- Please tell it was his Devil Fruit or something
- Ok, I’m joking now but Rayleigh just... doesn’t explain that
- Oho, Usopp time
- “Hey, is One Piece even real?” “USOPP!!” oh shit
- Luffy went all “How dare you ask that!!! Don’t you know what adventure means! You’re not supposed to know what’s on the end! If I knew, I would quit being a pirate!”
- Yeah, that’s exactly what I thought he would say. This isn’t how you do things in the manga. That’s not how it is done, point.
- “I’ll never go on an adventure… that isn’t any fun!!!!” yeah!
- Usopp apologizes. Apology accepted, man. The question had to be asked even if we don’t want an answer yet
- “Do you think you can do this? […] To conquer such powerful oceans?” Rayleigh asks
- “I’m not going to conquer anything! The one who is the most free… is the Pirate King!” Luffy answers
- Rayleigh and Shakky are impressed and proud :)
- (why is Zoro I the far, far corner and not with the group, I thought he got lost again for a moment. No need to be such a loner, Zoro, there are free seats next to Brook)
- They remembered Kizaru should be on the island already, lol
- Plan is being formed
- A vivre card? Ah, ok, that’s how they’ll find Rayleigh
- Coating takes three days??? They’re screwed
- “We’re up against the Admiral! I hope we don’t die!” hah
- And out they go
- Franky is happy they met the guy from Roger’s crew. After all, Tom died defending their honor and everything
- “How about amusement park?” “No!!!” Luffy is at it again :D
- “I want to go” Brook and Chopper make a dangerous duo, not gonna lie
- Meanwhile, Kizaru is still here. Everybody is, per my request last chapter,  running away from him
- Holy shit
- …Apoo, one of supernovas, wants to make Kizaru mad before running away. Dude, why
- Uh, what happened to these marines? They’re either super old or children
- Oh, it was Bonney
- Capone surrounded like thirty of marines, all by himself
- And Hawkins is sitting and chilling. Ok.
- And chatting with Kizaru. Jesus.
- “Who’re you?” ???
What is happening???

How To Crack PTE Exam - Strategies Which Will Help You Score Perfect 90
Below are the few strategies I followed to crack PTE:
Disclaimer: These strategies have worked well for me, but this may or may not work for you. Proceed with caution.
PTE Speaking:
1. My only strategy for this section is to speak little bit louder than normal and speak faster (I speak 1.5 - 2 times faster)
2. Read Aloud: Speak faster, louder and click next immediately once done. Read Aloud PTE is once such section where fluency is of utmost importance.
3. Describe Image & ReTell Lecture: Speak faster, content is secondary, fluency was my priority. Avoid pauses. Speak something relevant, don't try to describe or summarize all the point. If you think about points/content then you will lose speed/fluency
For Speaking section,  fluency is directly related to score
4. For Repeat Sentence listen carefully, don't panic, try to repeat as much as you can, don't try to correct if you miss anything.
(I generally omit/add few words even in read aloud and repeat sentence but I got 85-90 consistently)
5. For retell: Have a template, memorize perfectly, only include one or few groups of words in the template, speak till the end of the recording. Don't stop. Dont worry too much about concluding, generally I never conclude.
PTE Listening:
1.
Summarize Spoken Text:
Have a perfect template without grammar errors, include only keywords from recording (I use the same template for SST and Retell. Only thing is you speak something continuously in retell and try to write 55-65 words in SST.
*** I save around 3-4 minutes in SST, That means I try to complete SST in 6 minutes and click next. Some people argue that it is individually timed section but whenever I spend full 10 minutes in SST, I miss last 3-4 questions in listening. I spend some more time on other questions like Highlight Correct Summary and MCMQ.
(If you think SST is individually timed section and time saved in this section is not added to main listening section, then please ignore above point but this happened to me every time) 2. Select Missing words (beep sound at the end): Read the options before recording starts. Listen carefully while the record is played and try to get the context of the recording to select the correct option. 3. Highlight incorrect words: I practised it on PTEAcademicExam.com. but in the real exam, it is much easier than the practice questions on this site.
4. Write from dictation: Most of them are repeated, practice all the repeated questions available before the exam. Start with capital letter, end with full stop
PTE Writing:
- Have a template, memorize and practice it well.
- Make sure you don't make any spelling mistakes at least in template part, for 65 pointers, Steven Fernandez template is ok.
-But you can slightly modify it, including some good vocab in the template itself and practice it well so that no spelling mistakes are made.
- I generally avoid difficult spelling when I include word/words other than in template so that spelling mistakes are avoided.
- I generally write the essay between 220 to 245 words. I tried to write even 260 to 280 word but always got below 70 points.
- Summarize written text carries more points(my assumption based on my experience), Try to cover the main point and write as many words as you can by using COMMA and connecting words like hence, so, because, however, but, instead etc.
Only one FULLSTOP should be used at the end and start the sentence with capital letter.
PTE Reading:
- This was most challenging part for me, very difficult to improve in the very short time span. - But nowadays reading section is a bit easier than before. - There are many repeated questions for dropdowns, FIB's and ROP. Memorize them, generally, we get 1-4 questions. - The time saved in repeated questions can be used for other questions so that we make fewer mistakes.
FIB's & dropdowns: Read the complete sentence before looking at options (not complete paragraph but only until the end of the sentence). Try to guess the answer, select closely relevant answer to guessed answer.(This strategy really helped me to improve my reading score)
MCMQ & MCSA: Read question twice carefully, then options before reading the paragraph. Use elimination technique to select the correct option. Try to eliminate the option describing the keyword or points that are not discussed in the paragraph even though they are relevant or logically correct/meaningful
Reorder PAragraphs: Look for logical sequence or date sequence.
Other points:
- Strategies should be practised well before the exam during your preparation, You will not find them useful if you directly apply them in the exam, moreover, they create confusion and consumes more time.
- There can be different strategies for each question type, choose best suitable one, above strategies worked well for me.
- Write exam peacefully with confidence. Don't panic if you make any mistake. I got 90's even after doing quite a few minor mistakes
Template I used for SST & retell:
The speaker was discussing about **. The most important point he mentioned **. In addition to this, he also talked about *. Then he discussed about **. Apart from this he described **.To conclude, he suggested that **.

    UNBOXING – MSI GP62M 7REX Leopard Pro

#gallery-0-12 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-12 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; } #gallery-0-12 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-12 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */

    BENCHMARKS – MSI GP62M 7REX Leopard Pro
  #gallery-0-13 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-13 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 50%; } #gallery-0-13 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-13 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
  #gallery-0-14 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-14 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 50%; } #gallery-0-14 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-14 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
  #gallery-0-15 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-15 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 50%; } #gallery-0-15 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-15 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */

Chapter 506
Thoughts:
- Fpos/cs: “Discharged from the hospital” I can’t be mad at them when they’re so happy :) Who got Lucci that shirt
- Law, his bear mate (Bepo) and rest of his crew are still marine trashing on their way home
- Oh, they got to Kid and Kuma
- (Seeing Kuma is a shock every time)
- “Trafalgar Law!” “You know my name!” I’m surprised too! I’m sorry Law but your name is kind of hard to pronounce, at least for me
- (Google tells me there’s Cape Trafalgar in Spain and that Napoleon fought there once. The more you know)
- Honestly, is it me or is Kuma overpowered. We know his DF power, he shouldn’t also have lasers, apparently teleporting into places of plot relevance and whatever it is that just went “BOOM”. I don’t care he’s a cyborg, like come on man
- Kid and Law really, and I mean REALLY, don’t want to meet an Admiral. Makes me kinda wonder what Kizaru’s power is. I mean, we met Aokiji and he is GOAT OP but like no more than Kuma is right now for me. Sike, what did we get ourselves into
- Somewhere else
- Duval, please, for the love of god, stop trying to wink, it’s getting worse every time
- Bye Duval
- Now Straw Hat party is in Rip-Off Bar :D
- “Oh, Ray. Welcome back. That was fast. I’m surprised Monkey and the others found you.” Wow, thanks a lot, Shakky
- Haha! Luffy was told Rayleigh was King Roger’s first mate :D Everyone is SHOCKED, I tell you, SHOCKED
- (Except Robin, lol. She knew :D)
- Seriously, you all failed Pirate History so hard
- Or maybe not! They DID hear of him! Damn, he’s really famous
- Except… Brook?
- (holy shit you guys. I just realized Brook’s times were pretty much BEFORE King Roger. And he didn’t get any news for the last 50 years. He may not even know what a Pirate King IS, I just ajskhdjfjdjdasfk)
- “I think there was a rookie by the name of Gold Roger. Or maybe not” AJDSHSDGHJADHKJS
- “Why are you such friends with an octopus?” backstory!
- He saved my life 20 years ago. After that, we were close until he joined the Sun Pirates” “Don’t you mean Arlong?” Does he mean Arlong? Weird
- “Gold Roger was executed 22 years ago…” yet his crew wasn’t. True, what’s up with that
- “We didn’t get captured… Roger turned yourself in” WHAT
- I MEAN WHAT
- “Why!?” yeah, why
- “We knew that our travels were ending” …
- “Four years before the day of his execution… Roger was afflicted with a terminal illness.” !!!!!!!!!
- Crocus (the lighthouse keeper, with Laboon. Damn, he really knows everyone) eased the pain but Roger’s illness was incurable
- “Three years later… we did the impossible… and conquered all of the Grand Line”
- (Crocus became a pirate cause he wanted to look for Rumba® Pirates! Which also means Brook! Goddammit, that stupid manga. I refuse to cry over that but DAMMIT)
- “So what happened after you conquered the oceans?” “After that, the entire world started calling Roger the Pirate King.” So he was a King for like a year?
- “Titles are meaningless for a dying man. But Roger was overjoyed.” Damn it
- “He had no future but was happy.” DAMN IT
- So Roger’s Pirates disbanded. Everyone went their own way and there’s no contact. Nothing you wouldn’t expect.
- …
- I just hope it will go better for Straw Hats
- “And about one year after we disbanded… Roger turned himself in. And it was announced that he would be publicly executed in Rogue Town, in the East Blue, where he was born. On that day, young pirates who are now famous all lined up to watch. The entire world was watching as the Pirate King was executed. I didn’t go.” We knew it all already, and yet. It’s just different when you hear it from Rayleigh
- And thus was a story of how Navy’s plans backfired spectacularly and right in their face. Instead of destroying the threat, they’ve started The Great Age Of Pirates
- “My treasure? You can have it if you want it. Go find it! I left all the riches of the world there.” …so. I’m pretty sure One Piece will be experiences and friends we found along the way. And I’M GLAD, GODDAMMIT
- “There was no other day I laughed as much as that day! There was no other way I cried as much… or drank as much!” ;_;
- “So he intentionally created the Age of Pirates!” “Those who create the times are always those who are living in the present!” well said
- Hah, Straw Hats know now that Shanks and Buggy were trainees of Roger
- Seriously, what a walk down memory lane
- Rayleigh met Shanks ten years ago, just after Shanks lost his arm
- “When I asked him about it, he talked about you with the biggest smile on his face!” awwww
- “Mr. Rayleigh, I was so surprised! In the East Blue, there’s a kid saying the exact same thing as Captain Roger! The very same words the Captain said!” awwww again
- And we’re cutting to somewhere else. Eh
- Grove 27. Kizaru is here.
- …he’s riding on a cannon ball
- …Alright then. Let me rephrase
- KIZARU IS HERE EVERYBODY RUN
Showtime.

Reading One Piece pt 261: Between Warlord And Admiral
Chapter 508
Thoughts:
- Fpos/cs: “Fun bowling excursion” lol, they’ll destroy the place :D
- “We’ve got enemy attack!” where
- …what
- Capone, what
- Oh. Ok. Good for you, Capone
- He had a whole cavalry in his stomach. What is this manga
- “Capone “Gang” Bege!” ooohhhh so that’s where “Gang” comes from
- Poor marines I guess
- Kuma’s still here
- BUT HE’S FIGHTING SOMEONE ELSE??? WHERE’S KID AND LAW
- WHAT DID YOU DO KUMA
- (He’s fighting… Urouge? Another supernova, the one from Sky Country)
- Meanwhile, Hawkins is making his horoscope. His moon is rising or something, I don’t know this stuff
- But wow, Kizaru is tall. He’s patiently looming over Hawkins and waiting for him to finish
- “Chance of death – zero %” damn, that’s a true believer, Admiral is literary right there
- Now Kizaru says he can’t just let him go if he’s sitting in front of him
- “Basil Hawkins! Speed is weight! Have you ever been kicked with the speed of light?” I read it as “speed is life” which, Kizaru in modern AU drives Ferrari, no I don’t take criticism. And it looks like his is the power of SPEED
- …this is fine :)
- Huh. Hawkins is totally untouched by that attack. But few marines on the island got super toasted out of sudden. Power of Transfer?
- No, that’s some voodoo stuff. Scarecrows. Is Hawkins a witch?
- (I feel disrespectful, is that disrespectful. The voodoo thing, I mean, I know before horror films it was used for healing or something. And I don’t care for horoscopes but you do you I guess)
- What now
- Hey Urouge
- “What a terrible luck! A Navy Admiral to my front and a Warlord of the Sea behind me. Is this it for me?” you know, I feel sorry for the guy. He didn’t sign up for this when he woke up this morning
- “Not exactly. I still don’t see the shadow of death creeping up on you.” Thanks Hawkins. Do you think he actually did predictions for all supernovas or is he just always like that. It would be sweet if he did
- “Haha… We may be enemies, but that’s good to hear even if it’s a joke.” True
- X. Drake? Hey man! What possessed you to kick Kuma?
- And why on earth did it work, nothing happened (*snort*) when Sanji tried that
- He didn’t notice Kizaru before, lol. How pirates always get into these situations
- And Apoo is still a spectator :D
- With Straw Hats
- …
- Why is Kuma here, he was just…
- …ok, whatever, they’ll explain on some point. 2 Kuma’s, got it
- “Stay back, Luffy! He’s a Warlord of the Sea!” “How do you know that!?” oh right, Luffy was unconscious when they fought Kuma on Thriller Bark
- I can’t believe they didn’t tell him anything, lol. Zoro Thing I get, but nothing at all?
- Boom
- Oh ok, they told him, he was just slow on the update. That’s why names are important. They should get Warlord’s bounty posters
- …is it me or Kuma is not as strong as I remember
- Zoro feels something’s off too
- (and Kuma didn’t say anything yet)
- Some guy alert. Probably marine
So that’s a lot. Let’s see how these fights will pan out.

Radeon RX 6600 XT Review: Test ( Proven) Specs| Hashrate | Overclocking | Testing

Radeon RX 6600 XT Review: Test ( Proven) Specs| Hashrate | Overclocking| Benchmark| Testing: New solution on RDNA2 for Full HD with maximum settings. The video cards of the Radeon RX 6000 family have brought back competition in the discrete GPU market, albeit nominally, since the market suffers greatly all year due to the situation with increased demand from cryptocurrency miners and, accordingly, greatly inflated prices. Radeon RX 6600 XT Review AMD has turned out to be a solid family that competes well with the GeForce RTX 30 line in different price ranges. At first, AMD announced three models that came out at the end of last year, but then a less expensive model appeared - the Radeon RX 6700 XT, which we have already reviewed. Many Read This as well - AMD Radeon RX 6800 vs RX 6800 XT: Hashrate | Specs | Test | Config | Profit We will not write much about how everything changed due to the mining boom and insufficient production of semiconductor crystals, but these factors led to a severe shortage and a rise in market prices by two, or even three times! It is not surprising that manufacturers do not have much motivation to bring new solutions to the market, because miners are already grabbing everything that is produced, and even at exorbitant prices. But the planned additions to the line were supposed to happen, and in August AMD rolled out the most budgetary (if you can say so now) solution of the new line. Brief History - Radeon RX 6600 XT Radeon RX 6600 XT The Radeon RX 6600 XT complements previously released GPUs in the lower mid-range (MSRP terms). It offers performance sufficient for any graphics setting at 1920 × 1080 in rasterized games and ray traced games under some conditions. The new GPU incorporates all the advantages of the new RDNA 2 architecture - high-performance computing units with support for hardware ray tracing, a new type of Infinity Cache, albeit a reduced size in the version of the Navi 23 chip, on which the RX 6600 XT model is based, but all the same helping to improve effective memory bandwidth, and much more. Who needs this video card and why? The answer is simple - to the most massive user. According to researchers from IDC, about two-thirds of monitors sold in the past year have a resolution of only Full HD (1920 × 1080). But there are quite a few models of such monitors with an increased screen refresh rate - up to 244-270 Hz, and all of them are intended mainly for gamers. The number of such fast gaming monitors on the market has grown dozens of times in recent years. And the power of the most common video cards of past generations, such as the GeForce GTX 1060 and Radeon RX 480, is no longer enough to provide even 60 FPS in the most modern games at maximum quality settings. These solutions from AMD and Nvidia give only about 30 FPS in games such as Cyberpunk 2077, Godfall and Red Dead Redemption 2. And it is the owners of such GPUs that AMD offers an upgrade option to the Radeon RX 6600 XT model, which will provide 2- 2.5 times better performance in many games. And the solutions of the previous generation AMD Radeon RX 5600 XT and RX 5700 can be replaced by the RX 6600 XT, because the new product provides 30% -40% higher performance compared to similar options from the previous family. And even if we take into account not the best situation on the market, the Radeon RX 6600 XT may well become one of the successful options in this price segment. After all, improvements in the RDNA 2 architecture have significantly increased the energy efficiency of the new product, and also new opportunities have appeared: hardware ray tracing and other DX12 Ultimate features that video cards of the past cannot boast. Specifications - Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics card The core of the Radeon RX 6600 XT model we are reviewing today is the new Navi 23 graphics processor, which is based on the second generation RDNA architecture, and it is closely related to both RDNA 1 and the latest generations of GCN. And before reading the article, it will be useful to familiarize yourself with our previous materials on AMD video cards: Radeon RX 6600 XT Review hashrate Graphics Accelerator Radeon RX 6600 XTChip codenameNavi 23Production technology7 нм TSMCNumber of transistors11.1 billion (Navi 22 - 17.2 billion)Core area237 mm (Navi 22 - 336 mm)Architectureunified, with an array of processors for streaming processing of any kind of data: vertices, pixels, etc.DirectX hardware supportDirectX 12 Ultimate, with Feature Level 12_2 supportMemory bus128-bit: 2 independent 64-bit memory controllers with GDDR6 supportGPU frequency1968 (base) to 2589 MHz (turbo)Computing units32 CUs with a total of 2048 ALUs for integer and floating point calculations (INT4, INT8, INT16, FP16, FP32 and FP64 formats are supported)Ray tracing blocks32 Ray Accelerator blocks to calculate the intersection of rays with triangles and BVH bounding volumesTexturing blocks128 texture addressing and filtering units with support for FP16 / FP32 components and support for trilinear and anisotropic filtering for all texture formatsRaster Operation Blocks (ROPs)8 wide 64-pixel ROPs with support for various anti-aliasing modes, including programmable and FP16 / FP32 framebuffer formatsMonitor supportsupport for up to six monitors connected via HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4a Specifications of the reference Radeon RX 6600 XT graphics cardCore frequency (game / peak)2359/2589 MHzNumber of universal processors2048Number of texture units128Number of blending blocks64Effective memory frequency16 GHzMemory typeGDDR6Memory busPage 128Memory8 GBMemory bandwidth256 GB / sComputational Performance (FP16)to 21.2 teraflopsComputational Performance (FP32)to 10.6 teraflopsTheoretical maximum fill rate165.7 gigapixels / sTheoretical texture sampling rate331.4 gigatexels / sTirePCI Express 4.0 x8Connectorsone HDMI 2.1, three DisplayPort 1.4aEnergy consumptionup to 160 wattsAdditional food8 pin connectorThe number of slots occupied in the system chassis2Recommended price$ 379 (33 260 rubles) The name of the new video card model fully corresponds to the basic principle of naming for AMD solutions adopted several years ago - compared to the Radeon RX 5600 XT, only the generation number has changed. The XT suffix remained, and so far no other models of video cards based on the same chip have been released. And in comparison with the Radeon RX 6700 XT, the new video card is one step lower, and everything looks logical here. The recommended price for the Radeon RX 6600 XT is $ 379 - a hundred less than that of the Radeon RX 6700 XT, and the price recommendation for the Russian market is 33 260 rubles, which looks like a slightly overpriced offer against the background of the GeForce RTX 3060 model, which seems to be cost less, despite the fact that the RTX 3060 Ti is only slightly more expensive. But all these reflections are purely theoretical, since the real retail prices are determined by the deficit, the efficiency of mining and the demand on the part of the participants in this business. Interestingly, AMD does not have a reference version of the Radeon RX 6600 XT, we only saw it in renders. So there is no point in describing the cooling and power supply system, they will all be different. Note that the power consumption of the entire video card is 160 W, which is noticeably less than 230 W of the Radeon RX 6700 XT. Therefore, many cards use only one 8-pin power connector for additional power supply, although AMD partners may well decide the issue differently. Many variants of the Radeon RX 6600 XT from different companies with their own PCB design and cooling systems have already entered the market. Unlike the RX 6700 XT, there are also very compact video cards, but there are also three-fan monsters, which for the budget RX 6600 XT seem to be a bit overkill. Ready-made systems with the installed Radeon RX 6600 XT are already available for sale from Acer, Alienware, Dell and HP, and the corresponding video cards of the new model have been released by all AMD partners: ASRock, Asus, Biostar, Gigabyte, MSI, PowerColor, Sapphire, XFX and others - all of them are available for sale from August 11 in various versions, with their own options for printed circuit boards and cooling systems. Architectural features The Navi 23 GPU is a junior model compared to the Navi 22 chip, and it is also based on the RDNA 2 architecture, the main task in the development of which was to achieve the highest possible energy efficiency, as well as to implement the missing functionality that the competitor and which are included in the DirectX 12 Ultimate specifications - we have already talked about them in detail in the reviews of the Radeon RX 6800 and Radeon RX 6800 XT. The basic blocks of any modern AMD chip are Compute Units (CUs), each of which has its own local storage for exchanging data or expanding the local register stack, as well as cache memory and a full-fledged texture pipeline with texture sampling and filtering units. Each of these CUs independently scheduling and scheduling work. Overall, the architecture of RDNA 2 is very similar to RDNA 1, although it has been heavily redesigned. We draw the block diagram of Navi 23 in our head again on our own - the new chip contains 32 computational CUs, consisting of 2048 ALUs, 128 TMUs and 64 ROPs. The Radeon RX 6600 XT version uses the full version of Navi 23 in which all the chip blocks are active. Interestingly, the number of all execution units does not differ that much from their number of units in the full version of the older Navi 22 chip. There is much more difference between these GPUs in the memory and data caching subsystem, the older chip has a 192-bit bus, while the Navi 23 has only a 128-bit bus. As you know, to improve the efficiency of using relatively narrow memory buses and compensate for the relatively low bandwidth of GDDR6, AMD came up with a large data cache - Infinity Cache, which really helps to improve the position of chips with low memory bandwidth. This global cache allows you to accelerate access to any data received by the GPU, and serves as an intermediary between the GPU and the slow video memory. But if in the older Navi 22 this cache memory was as much as 96 MB, which is slightly less than 128 MB for top solutions, then in Navi 23 it was left quite a bit - only 32 MB. That is, Navi 23 has only 20% fewer computing units compared to Navi 22, but the memory bandwidth is noticeably lower, and the amount of cache memory is generally reduced by three times. So we won't be surprised if the performance of the RX 6600 XT is more limited by the memory subsystem, especially when it comes to resolutions higher than Full HD. To improve energy efficiency, AMD specialists redesigned all blocks in RDNA 2, rebalanced the pipeline, found and eliminated all bottlenecks, reworked data lines, processing geometry inside the chip, and also used the experience of designing CPUs with a high operating frequency. The result turned out to be the most impressive in terms of energy efficiency gain, but from the point of view of logic circuits, the roots of the previous version of the architecture are clearly visible in the computational units of RDNA 2. Radeon RX 6600 XT has 8 GB of local memory, and at the moment this amount can be considered the right decision. It provides some margin for the future, because games are becoming more demanding, using more and more resources, and the same hardware ray tracing imposes additional requirements on the amount of memory. A fairly large number of modern games already take up more than 8 GB of memory at maximum graphics settings. It's also useful because modern consoles have a lot of memory and fast SSDs, and future multiplatform and ported games may well start requiring 8GB of local video memory in the future. Read the rest of the details about all the changes and innovations of the new graphics processor in the big review of the Radeon RX 6800 XT, where it is written about the new Infinity Cache, and about improved access to Smart Access Memory, and about changes in support for video codecs and input port standards -Output. The junior model of the RDNA 2 architecture is no different from the older GPUs in terms of functionality, although the chips are different, they can do all the same. For example, the capabilities for hardware encoding and decoding of video data in the Radeon RX 6600 XT are very wide, the new solution supports all common codecs: H.264 (4K at 180 FPS decoding and 4K at 90 FPS encoding), H.265 (decoding 4K resolution at 90 FPS or 8K @ 24 FPS and encoding 4K @ 60 FPS and 8K @ 24 FPS), and the chip can decode VP9 (4K @ 90 FPS and 8K @ 24 FPS) and AV1 (4K @ 120 FPS or 8K @ 30 FPS) formats ... As for the performance of the new product, it must be remembered that the Radeon RX 6600 XT is designed for mid-range systems, the most common on the market. The new solution provides a sufficient level of performance for Full HD resolution in all modern games, including the ability to enable some effects using ray tracing. It is strange to demand more from the new GPU. And if we compare the Radeon RX 6600 XT model we are considering today with the similarly priced GeForce RTX 3060, then the AMD video card is up to 15% faster than the competitor, judging by the measurements of the company itself: Even with tracing turned on in Dirt 5 and Godfall. To be fair, AMD admits that their solution is inferior to the competitor in such games with ray tracing as Battlefield V, Doom Eternal, Metro Exodus, Shadow of the Tomb Raider and other games that use ray tracing more actively - most often these games were created for competitor graphics cards, which have a clear advantage due to dedicated hardware units dedicated to the task of ray tracing. But in competitive online games, the new solution of the Radeon RX 6000 line should be slightly faster than the competing Nvidia video card, which is important for owners of the very high refresh rate gaming monitors that we talked about at the beginning of the article. We will definitely check all the comparative performance data in the practical part of the article, and now let's talk about the company's technologies. AMD software technologies We will also tell you about the software improvements and innovations associated with the announcement of the new solution. Introduced in August, the AMD graphics card supports all of the company's modern technologies, such as Radeon Boost and Radeon Anti-Lag , which are useful for esports players in that the former increases FPS in dynamic scenes, and the latter reduces latency when playing online. Improvements to Radeon Boost allow variable rate shading (VRS) to be used in some games, which can be useful in multiplayer battles. AMD is also proud of its Smart Access Memory technology , which is nothing more than the Resizable BAR feature available for modern Nvidia graphics cards. But AMD claims that it is their implementation of the GPU access technology to a part of the RAM that works much more efficiently - at least in their selected games. However, in other games with a significant impact of RBAR / SAM inclusion, the advantage of the new AMD solution over the RTX 3060 will be somewhat more modest - 6% -8%, but this is enough to proclaim a clear victory over the rival. Of the new useful technologies, we note FidelityFX Super Resolution , which allows you to increase performance with a slight decrease in picture quality, which is almost imperceptible in dynamics at a sufficiently high output resolution. The technology works in part similar to DLSS of rival Nvidia, although it does not use data from previous frames and does not process it using a neural network. Rather, FSR is simply an advanced technique for improving the display of an image rendered at a lower rendering resolution. But even in such a simple form, it allows you to significantly increase performance with a sufficiently high-quality picture, and even makes it possible to play with ray tracing (not always and only in a relatively low Full HD resolution). Well, without tracing, even the most modern and demanding games in Full HD just start to fly! And not the most demanding ones - they generally show 200 FPS and more: FidelityFX technology is open source and available to everyone as part of the GPUOpen initiative, which simplifies its implementation in game projects and the corresponding optimization. Previously, one of the components of this technology was known to us as FidelityFX Contrast Adaptive Sharpening (CAS) - this part is responsible for increasing the clarity of the picture, but the FSR includes another important part that is involved in scaling a low-resolution image to a higher one, with high-quality restoration of details. There are four FSR quality modes: - Ultra Quality is the highest quality mode, rendering the picture with the quality that is as close as possible to rendering at full resolution, with a slight improvement in performance. - Quality - good quality of restoration of image details and a decent increase in rendering speed - perhaps, it can be recommended in most cases. - Balanced - a mode with a balanced increase in performance and still a fairly good quality of the final image, sometimes inferior to the native rendering resolution. - Performance is the most productive mode with a high increase in speed, but with obvious losses in rendering quality, so it should be chosen only when there is a big lack of smoothness. The good thing about FSR technology is that it works on a wide range of hardware, including older graphics cards, and not even just AMD. Yes, the technology is optimized for RDNA 1 and RDNA 2 architectures (Radeon RX 5000 and RX 6000), but it also works well on Radeon RX 500 and RX 400, and RX Vega with integrated graphics in AMD Ryzen processors. Also, importantly, FSR is supported on competing solutions - Nvidia GeForce RTX 30 and RTX 20 series graphics cards, as well as GeForce GTX 16 and GTX 10. The new software technology is very easy to implement into the code, since it does not require access to the data of previous frames. In fact, it works like another post-filter, but it increases the output resolution, and in theory it can even be screwed onto old games if they require more performance. FSR is already available for the most common game engines Unity and Unreal Engine, so it is not surprising that almost since the announcement, FSR technology has been supported in several games at once, and their list is only expanding. So, with all the theoretical data and potential capabilities of the new AMD video card, we got acquainted, it's time to take a look at it before proceeding with the tests.

    UNBOXING – MSI GE62VR 7RF Camo Squad

    #gallery-0-10 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-10 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 50%; } #gallery-0-10 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-10 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
  #gallery-0-11 { margin: auto; } #gallery-0-11 .gallery-item { float: left; margin-top: 10px; text-align: center; width: 33%; } #gallery-0-11 img { border: 2px solid #cfcfcf; } #gallery-0-11 .gallery-caption { margin-left: 0; } /* see gallery_shortcode() in wp-includes/media.php */
