Valencia Marathon Expo What a long day! Some challenges, and once again not getting any sleep. However, the expo was turned up with electricity in the air. How could it not be with an extraordinary venue such as this? Amazing! I rarely buy any clothing at the race expos, but got a really nice jacket (to be seen later when I'm in a 'colder' climate 😀 Enough of cold talk because the energy here is on fiyah!!! So much more to talk about, but there's no time because someone has a race in the morning. If you're up that early, you can track me using the official Valencia Marathon app. My bib #23406. The USA did not place in the top ten countries registered for this race. Wake Up, America! P.S. Look at those rails. You know your race is the ish when your event's name is stamped out in the metal. Yay! It's Medal Monday! My adrenaline is so high that I could run the marathon again tomorrow (Not! 😂). Also, if you've never run Detroit, this is one to add to your bucket list. The thrill of running across the bridge to Canada and back through the tunnel is amazing! In my farewell as a 2019 race ambassador, to receive this medal, my one second marathon PR and the new friends I gained from working with my fellow ambassadors, I'd have to use just one word: PRICELESS! 2019 continues to be a year that'll be hard to top.
