Efter de to indlæg blev det muligt for medlemmerne, at prøve kræfter mod Jan og Kevin på en Xbox, der var installeret med det sidste nye racerspil, RacePro. I racerspillet, der nærmest kan betegnes som en simulator, fik Jan, i en BMW fra Team UK, det team han kørte for i Macau i 2006, to forsøg på at sætte en tid på Laguna Seca. Kevin overtog Xboxen og efter hans to omgange havde han så den hurtigste tid og var så begejstret for spillet, at han havde svært ved at acceptere at andre også skulle have en chance. Medlemmerne forsøgte at slå Kevins tid, men ingen kom tæt på, så selvom Kevin synes han havde kørt en langsom omgang var han 6 sekunder hurtigere. Der blev dog kåret en vinder, som vandt et par af Jan Magnussens kørerhandsker. Andenpladsen fik Jans t-shirt fra BMW Team UK.

El piloto de Chevrolet, Gastón Mazzacane, demostró una vez más su dominio en el Turismo Carretera al quedarse con la tan ansiada "pole position" en la séptima fecha del Campeonato 2023. Esta victoria marca la octava vez que Mazzacane se lleva la clasificación en su carrera, y es la primera vez que lo logra tanto en el año 2023 como en el autódromo de Rafaela. Además, su compañero de equipo, Santiago Mangoni, completó el "1-2" para Chevrolet, consolidando el dominio del "Chivo" en esta clasificación. Con un tiempo de 1m26s669, Mazzacane logró la vuelta más rápida, superando por apenas 0s013 a Mangoni. Esta es la segunda "pole position" consecutiva para Chevrolet en el TC y la tercera seguida en el circuito santafesino, donde la marca ha obtenido cuatro victorias consecutivas. Y más en Rafaela, que es una carrera emblemática, por el circuito y por el público que siempre hay. Fue una muy buena vuelta detrás de Ciantini, donde la succión y todo salió muy bien". Estas palabras reflejan la importancia que Mazzacane atribuye a esta victoria y su reconocimiento al desafío que representa competir en el autódromo de Rafaela. Esta "pole position" marca el fin de una racha de 25 clasificaciones sin lograr el primer lugar para Mazzacane, siendo la anterior en Posadas en 2021. Además, con este logro, se convierte en el poleman número 31 del TC en Rafaela, igualando a Ford en cantidad de "poles" en este trazado. La clasificación también tuvo otros pilotos destacados, como Valentín Aguirre (Dodge), quien ratificó su gran potencial al quedarse en la tercera posición, a tan solo 0s021 del líder. Esta fue la mejor clasificación de Aguirre en la temporada, superando su cuarto lugar en Termas de Río Hondo. Matías Rossi (Toyota), con el motor provisto por Claudio Garófalo, se ubicó en el cuarto puesto, a 0s144 de la "pole", mientras que Mariano Werner (Ford) se aseguró el quinto lugar después de un trabajo contrarreloj de su equipo para reemplazar los cojinetes del motor debido a una pérdida de aceite durante el segundo entrenamiento. Por otro lado, el líder del campeonato, Jonatan Castellano (Dodge), junto a Mangoni y Facundo Ardusso (Chevrolet), fueron algunos de los pilotos que optaron por girar en soledad, sin buscar una succión. Castellano se clasificó en la undécima posición, por delante de Julián Santero (Ford), su principal competidor en el campeonato, quien se ubicó en el decimosexto puesto. La clasificación estuvo marcada por cierta polémica, ya que siete pilotos del cuarto de los mejores rankeados buscaron aprovechar la succión y jugaron al límite con el tiempo para salir de los boxes, pero no lograron completar una vuelta rápida. Entre ellos se encontraban los pilotos de Ford: Mariano Werner, Juan Tomás Catalán Magni, Julián Santero y Leonel Pernía, así como los pilotos de Torino: José Manuel Urcera, Marcos Landa y Juan Cruz Benvenuti. Leonel Pernía expresó su disgusto por la situación en una entrevista para Campeones Radio, alegando que salió a tiempo según los tiempos marcados por el RacePro, el sistema oficial de la categoría, y que la bandera a cuadros se bajó antes de tiempo. En conclusión, Gastón Mazzacane se coronó nuevamente como el mejor en la clasificación del Turismo Carretera en Rafaela, obteniendo la "pole position" por octava vez en su carrera. TVS Racing and Petronas join hands to launch co-branded lubricant oil

After becoming the technical partner of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team and making strides in MotoGP through Petronas Sepang Racing Team, Malaysian oil and gas giant Petronas has joined hands with TVS Motor Company's TVS Racing, India’s first factory racing team.

As part of the tie up, TVS Racing has been rechristened Petronas-TVS Racing and both the players have launched co-branded lubricant oil targeting premium customers. The company said that the tie up will only be targeting the domestic market now.

“Petronas has been at the forefront of motorsports for a quarter of a century. As part of this partnership, Petronas will be providing TVS Racing team special racing oils that will help in improving performance of the bikes. This will help in elevating TVS performance,” said KN Radhakrishnan, director and chief executive officer of TVS Motor Company. Factory-backed racing teams are those sponsored by a vehicle manufacturer in official competitions.

The Malaysian giant will also supply its high-performance engine oil, Petronas Sprinta to the team who will participate in road-racing, supercross, and rally formats of racing, including the Indian National Motorcycle Racing Championship (INMRC), Indian National Supercross Championship (INSC), and Indian National Rally Championship (INRC). Rebranded as Petronas TVS Racing Team, the outfit will don a new livery as part of the alliance effective this season.

“Petronas continues to make headway across the value chain in India. Amongst the examples of a significant portfolio, enhancements include supplying LPG through IndianOil Petronas Pvt.

It was in 2010 that Petronas became the title and technical partner of the Mercedes-AMG Petronas Formula One Team. The company entered into MotoGP through Petronas Sepang Racing Team in 2019. In 2020, Petronas also became the official fuel provider for the Moto2 and Moto3 World Championships.

The companies said that the new brand – Petronas TVS Tru4 RacePro -- will be available for consumers in the high street market across India from May 2022. “The Petronas TVS Tru4 Race Pro engine oil is formulated with the same premium additive technology as the one used by the Petronas-TVS Racing team. This is so that TVS consumers can experience the same superior performance in their bikes,” said Giuseppe Pedretti, Regional Managing Director, PETRONAS Lubricants International.

“TVS Racing has been a prominent force in Indian Motorsports for over four decades. We are immensely committed to motor racing in the country and have been continuously working towards growing the interest and enthusiasm for the sport here.
