I’m posting the same exact caption as my previous post bc I basically can’t repeat this info enough: Touchable, Defined curls with movement that will stand up to the humidity? It’s possible! Click the link in my bio to see my ultimate starter pack options that can help get you on the road to the curls you want! Also, pro-tip- do you like the results on the clients you see on my ig? The styling method I use is a hybrid of @ouidad and @devacurl but the way I put the product in is way more like Ouidad’s #rakeandshake method than deva or anything else you see out there, WAY more. That’s the awesome thing about the Ouidad gels, they get all up and through your curls you’re not just creating a shell on the outside, and that’s part of the reason my clients have an easier time getting their sets to last in this humid narnia we’re living in called Florida. Obviously every single method and product line doesn’t work for every single hair type, (I’d really like to throat punch anyone who says otherwise) but I’ve definitely come up with a few curly life hacks in the past ten years that give curls of all types a fighting chance against #dewpoint s that the rest of the country only has to deal with a few days or weeks out of the year. My "demo model" from yesterday's @ouidad #artofcurl class in Nashua, NH! I call this Tim Burton meets Gaulthier 😉 Using Mongongo Oil and Define and Shine, I started with a foundational #rakeandshake. Once dry, I finger teased each individual curl to create a new shape without any cutting. Using my trusty @cloudninec9 microwand, I tightened the curls around her face and slightly teased them to create a fake fringe. Finish with some Curl Last Hairspray, and voila!
