04.07.2006 - the first (known) meeting of Rakitić and Modrić in the match between FC Basel and Dinamo Zagreb.

The scoreline of the friendly match ended up being a draw 2-2, with Vugrinec and Da Silva scoring in the first half and (comedically) with Petrić and Rakitić scoring in the second half to even the game.

Both Petrić and Rakitić started their international careers in the Switzerland team, with the first joining Croatia in 2002 and the latter in 2007. Though it hasn’t been said, I like to think Raketa’s decision to join the vatreni was partially influenced by this match :-)

An overview of the match, according to this FCB forum: After the match, the 18-year-old Rakitic was enrounded by Croatian supporters and journalists. On one hand, because the Croatian-Swiss double citizen was the man of the match with a goal and an assist. On the other hand, because the Croatian NT leaders compete for the services of the midfielder. "But I won't let myself be pushed," said the Swiss U19 national player Rakitic. Because the joy of his first goal for the FCB prevailed with him. "First, I want to assert myself at the FCB."

Assert himself he did, receiving the Swiss Goal of the Year award for his goal against St. Gallen three months after this meeting. Before joining Schalke in 2007, he had already scored 20 goals in his proffesional career, but more on that on another time.

I've been a fan of the Swedish magazine OEI for the past many years, so it's a special pleasure to find myself included in an issue. Each issue is a humongous treasure torve of visual and text based work bursting with everything from unfamiliar contemporary artist to rare historical materials that are difficult to find. An often used series of double and triple volumes that take up several meters of shelving in my home. And now I'm so happy that, with the help of mathias Kokholm, I have managed to sneak a few pages into "OEI #94-95: geografer" based on the djurs archipelago project. RAKETAと三田村光土里は、互いの表現に共感と刺激を与えながら、2000年から長年の交友関係を温めてきました。

三田村光土里の滞在制作プロジェクト「Art & Breakfast」 は2006年にRAKETAのスタジオで始まりました。場所にあるものを組み合わせて自由に制作するスタイルは、ストックホルムの空気感と、こうした彼らの柔軟なプレゼンテーションにインスパイアされて生み出されました。

今回、三田村を加えたRAKETA # TOKYO 2018は映像作品「ORBITS AROUND A (NOMADIC) ARCHIVE」を発表します。それぞれが移動を続けながら、互いの旅の地で遭遇する瞬間を自在につなぎ合わせ、誰のものでもない新たな旅の情景を作り出して行きます。

The artist group RAKETA from Stockholm has developed many projects for dialogues with places, crossing over diverse expressive styles through journeys for years.

Their special quality can be seen in their particularly sophisticated ability of compilations.They collect and compile various elements in poetic and humorous ways that are lightly controlled by the excellent capability of visuals.

RAKETA and Mitamura have been inspiring and relating their expressions to each other, through their friendship since 2000. Midori Mitamura’s site-specific art project ”Art & Breakfast” was born at the studio of RAKETA in 2006.

The atmosphere of Stockholm and RAKETA’s flexible presentations inspired Mitamura to develop her style for free combinations of materials found at the place. For this opportunity, RAKETA # TOKYO 2018 inclusing Mitamura produce ”ORBITS AROUND A (NOMADIC) ARCHIVE”

Assembling each moment they captured freely while traveling at the same time, RAKETA and Mitamura discover another view of the journey that belongs to none of them.

三田村光土里は写真、映像、音楽、言語、偶然に見つけたものなど、様々な素材を組み合わせたインスタレーションによって、「人が足を踏み入れられるドラマ」を表現しています。三田村の作品はいつも、文化的差異を超えた個人的な共通理解を探るために、旅の中で得た社会に対する眼差しを、多様な表現方法によって作品に反映しています。誰にとっても身近な、日常の記憶から生まれる不器用で愛おしい感情を人々と分かち合うように、インスタレーションに配置されたモノたちは絵本の挿絵のように物語を演じています。

三田村は滞在制作プロジェクト「アート＆ブレックファスト」を2006年より世界中の様々な国で展開し続けています。それぞれの都市で生活しながらアイデアを見つけ、フィールドワークを通して集めた材料によってその場で作り上げる無数のインスタレーションが空間を満たしていきます。B&B（ベッド＆ブレックファスト）にヒントを得たタイトルの通り、来場者との朝食会が、コミュニケーション・イベントとして、展示期間中にスペースで開催されています。

MIDORI MITAMURA

Midori Mitamura creates art installations through the combination of various materials such as photos, films, music, language and found objects. And then, the installation suggests "a drama in which people can venture". Her artworks always reflect her critical point of views she gains from journeys, by creating diverse presentations to explore common understanding of human life beyond cultural differences. Each item in the installation acts stories like picture book illustrations so as to share with people awkward and endearing emotions arisen from memories that are familiar to everyone's lives.

Mitamura’s ongoing site-specific project "Art & Breakfast" is widely taken place in various countries around the globe since 2006. Living in each town, she develops ideas, collects materials and fills up space with numerous improvised installations through fieldworks. The title hints at B&B (Bed & Breakfast). The breakfast meetings with visitors are hosted as a communication event whilst exhibiting installations in the art space.

Najopasnije obećanje Donalda Trampa: Ključni test za američku dominaciju

Donald Tramp je ovog utorka ispunio svoje najopasnije predizborno obećanje: povukao je Sjedinjene Američke Države iz nuklearnog sporazuma s Iranom i time svet učinio još manje predvidljivim nego što je bio do sada, dovodeći u pitanje i ono malo mira što još postoji na Bliskom istoku, i kredibilitet Amerike, i njene odnose sa Evropom. Ostale potpisnice sporazuma iz 2015, kojim je Iran obustavio svoj nuklearni program u zamenu za ukidanje ekonomskih sankcija — Iran, Rusija i Kina, Nemačka, Francuska i Velika Britanija — ostaju mu privržene, ali je budućnost sporazuma posle američkog povlačenja i pretnji sankcijama svima koji budu sarađivali s Iranom u najmanju ruku neizvesna. Baš kao što je neizvestan i odgovor na, kako dramatično upozorava nemačka kancelarka Angela Merkel, „pitanje rata i mira“ na Bliskom istoku. A Izrael za to vreme pojačava napade na Siriju i iranske snage stacionirane u toj zemlji na osnovu dogovora s vlastima u Damasku… Kakve se namere kriju iza američkog povlačenja iz dogovora sa Iranom? Kako će na to reagovati sam Iran, a kako tri evropske zemlje kojima novi američki ambasador u Nemačkoj, Ričard Grenel, preti sankcijama preko Tvitera tek što je stigao u Berlin? O ovim su pitanjima u „Novom Sputnjik poretku“ govorili diplomata Zoran Milivojević i publicista i istoričar Nemanja Starović. „Tramp je definitivno podlegao uticaju svog ’ratnog štaba‘ i vojnoindustrijskog kompleksa. Oni sada diktiraju spoljnu politiku Amerike, pa i samog Trampa“, opisuje Zoran Milivojević motive američkog predsednika da se povuče iz sporazuma s Iranom. „Drugi motiv je to što Amerika ne može da prihvati činjenicu da se kriza na Bliskom istoku rešava tako što se smanjuje njen uticaj, a time i uticaj Izraela i Saudijske Arabije, a treći motiv nalazi se u konačnom otklonu od rezultata politike njegovog prethodnika Baraka Obame. Na ovaj način Amerika neće ostvariti svoje strateške ciljeve, ali dovodi u opasnost mir i stabilnost na Bliskom istoku“. Tragajući za odgovorom na pitanje Trampove motivacije, „Njujork tajms“ komentariše da Amerika, Izrael i Saudijska Arabija nisu toliko zabrinuti zbog nuklearnog programa Irana koliko zbog „normalizacije režima u Teheranu“ koja je usledila posle potpisivanja sporazuma 2015. Tramp i Mejova o posledicama po kompanije koje posluju sa Iranom Nemanja Starović saglasan je s ovom ocenom: „Amerika ne napušta sporazum zato što ga Iran ne poštuje već zato što, uprkos poštovanju njegovih odredbi, Iran uspeva da napravi krupne iskorake na dva plana koja tim sporazumom uopšte nisu obuhvaćena, a to su program razvoja balističkih raketa i pojačavanje političkog i vojnog prisustva širom regiona. Zato Tramp i govori da je reč o lošem sporazumu“. Magazin „Ekonomist“ ocenjuje da se Tramp možda nada ponovnom pregovaranju sporazuma s Iranom ali je, navodi se, „verovatnije da će se završiti ratom“. „Amerika se nesumnjivo priprema za ratnu opciju“, kaže Zoran Milivojević. „Druga flota je zato i došla u Mediteran. I Izrael je na to spreman, i to govori otvoreno. Suština je da se u pitanje dovede sam režim u Iranu i da se spreči nastup Irana u regionu. Razvoj događaja u Siriji, pobeda Hezbolaha na izborima u Libanu, situacija u Siriji… Sve to ide naruku Iranu, i samim tim predstavlja casus belli za Ameriku. I pitanje je samo da li će američki saveznici uspeti da je spreče u tome i da li će Rusija uspeti da utiče na Izrael i Iran da se suzdrže i nađu svoje crvene linije koje ni jedni ni drugi neće prelaziti.“ „Uloga Rusije je sada ključna, jer se ona izborila da bude sila u ovom regionu s kojom razgovara svako, i njeni saveznici i oni koji to nisu“, dodaje Nemanja Starović. „Dok god Moskva ima bolje odnose sa svakim od učesnika u konfliktu od odnosa koje oni imaju međusobno, ona će biti u poziciji da balansira među njima.“ U američke medije procurio je dokument, beli papir koji je podeljen funkcionerima Nacionalnog saveta za bezbednost, koji govori da je cilj Vašingtona promena režima u Teheranu, „obojena revolucija“ koja bi bila izazvana ekonomskim tenzijama unutar samog Irana, pa otuda i ponovno uvođenje sankcija ovoj zemlji. „Sigurno je da u Vašingtonu postoji ovakva želja. Amerika već duže vreme pokušava da isprovocira unutrašnji nemir u Iranu, ali to nije naišlo na plodno tlo“, objašnjava Nemanja Starović. „Amerika to možda ne shvata na pravi način, ali, bez obzira na različite frakcije unutar režima u Teheranu, sve one funkcionišu u okviru sistema koji je uspostavljen islamskom revolucijom 1979. i ne postoji ozbiljna opozicija koja izlazi iz okvira tog sistema.“ Postavlja se i pitanje u kolikoj je meri ugrožen američki kredibilitet u međunarodnoj zajednici posle odluke o unilateralnom povlačenju iz iranskog sporazuma. Francuski ambasador pri Ujedinjenim nacijama Fransoa Delatr ocenio je u „Vašington postu“ da je reč o „opasnoj kombinaciji unilateralizma i izolacionizma“, nazvao je to „unizolacionizmom“… „Međunarodni kredibilitet SAD bio je ugrožen i pre ovog poteza, izlaskom iz Pariskog sporazuma o klimatskim promenama, iz Uneska, sporazuma o slobodnoj trgovini u pacifičkom regionu… O ugroženom kredibilitetu, uostalom, ponajbolje govori reakcija evropskih saveznika SAD“, ukazuje Zoran Milivojević. Za razliku od SAD, tri evropske potpisnice sporazuma — Nemačka, Francuska i Velika Britanija — ostaju mu privržene. Nemačka kancelarka Angela Merkel, francuski predsednik Emanuel Makron i britanski šef diplomatije Boris Džonson putovali su u Vašington u poslednjih desetak dana, pokušavajući da odgovore Trampa od napuštanja sporazuma. Ali ne samo da ga nisu nagovorili, nego im Amerika sad preti takozvanim sekundarnim sankcijama ako nastave ekonomsku saradnju s Iranom.“ Američki ambasador u Nemačkoj Ričard Grenel čak je tvitovao naredbu da „nemačke kompanije koje posluju u Iranu treba odmah da prekinu s tim“. Uprkos toj naredbi, međutim, Merkelova ocenjuje: „Evropa mora da svoju sudbinu uzme u svoje ruke. To je zadatak za budućnost“. A slično će i Makron, koji kaže da Evropa „ne može da dozvoli da druge velike sile, uključujući i savezničke, donose diplomatske i bezbednosne odluke u naše ime“. „Značaj izjava, poput ovih koje daje Angela Merkel, nije dovoljno naglašen. Tako nešto, naime, u Nemačkoj nije moglo da se čuje poslednjih 70 godina. Zato mislim da te reči treba jako ozbiljno shvatiti, jer će njihove posledice biti dugoročne, ukazuje Nemanja Starović. „Amerika zapravo dolazi u veoma nezgodnu situaciju, ona je sada u opasnosti da bude izolovana.
