watched the latest jwittz video, i did not know you could wipe your ranger cartridge to get the manaphy back with a hacked 3ds so i booted up my copy out of curiosity and?????? apparently my cartridge still has manaphy???? at least according to what jwittz said????

Rise of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - Angel Grove High Students

A couple more students that attend Angel Grove High School with the Rangers, meet Angela; as well as some freshman who've just moved up from Stone Canyon Middle, Aisha, Rocky and Adam!

Angela Campbell is an older sister by instinct, but no push over. Since the beginning of their Sophmore Year, she's been enjoying a romantic cat-and-mouse game with one Zack Taylor, always interested in what scheme he'll come up with to earn her affections. Of course, he already has them, but the game's a bit too fun to let him win just yet.

Angela's younger sister Aisha, as well as her two best friends - Rocco "Rocky" De Santos and Adam Park - moved to Angel Grove from Stone Canyon to be closer to the Power Rangers, after seeing the reports on their exploits through the R4ngerN3T ClikClak account. The three of them eventually get recruited by Bulk & Skull to help collect eye witness reports and film fights when possible, getting themselves into more trouble those two already do for a good story. Though impulsive, the trio do have great potential that will not go unnoticed.

screams as loud as I can because yes !!!!!! I've been waiting for a chance to talk about this, but N really likes rangers. he likes the partner system, the styler friendship transferal, the "no taking wild pokemon out of their habitat" rule, literally everything. in his two year gap between black and black 2 he actually spent a lot of time in ranger regions (almia, fiore, oblivia), listening to the pokemon there and coming to that slow understanding that some people do care for these creatures just as much as he does

Quick to lock eyes with the other man, Zoro stared him down for a moment 'til Hajime's attention seemed to be pulled elsewhere. At the break in contact, his lips twisted slightly, unhappily before it dropped to the plate he had fixed for himself. It would start to grow cold if he didn't eat...

Picking up the chopsticks, Zoro proceeded to press a generous peace of rice past his lips from where he sat before taking in a piece of beef to go along with the flavor already dancing on his taste buds.

Hajime's words were weighing upon his head. He didn't see anything wrong with what he'd said, and Zoro wasn't sure if the other was attempting to imply anything by stressing that he was a civilian, but--... even that didn't matter.

Alright. Yeah. Hajime took his missions seriously--Zoro had learned that from being around him, and it was something that the Hybrid could admire, but how could he help by sitting around waiting for him to return? If he was in one the action, at least he would know as to what was going on. Waiting around didn't sit well with the swordsman.

Chest expanding to the fullest extent, he let loose an audibly sigh.

He didn't understand--and to blame was the lack of deep connections with other people. There had only been Mr. Yuu, but now Hajime, Zoro thought, could be one--or was--but this was hard to understand. It was simple, but Hajime thought differently than Zoro did and he did not understand the Ranger's way.

"You gonna explain that?" Zoro finally piped up, a note of unhappiness in his voice, "because that doesn't feel like I'm helping in a meaningful way, at all." Maybe he was simply missing something.

To distract himself from speaking more, he resumed eating.

He’s actually not one for battling; if anything, his Pokémon are tools meant to be sharpened, and kept in pristine shape for attack and defense. Competitive battling and fighting rings only put his tools at risk for breaking, and he is very particular about the types of things that he uses for his trade.

Something’s wrong.

It was like a paralyzing scream. Only, it came from far out, and far above.

Valerie watched as the shadow took off in the sky. Other people were watching until it vanished. Was it-

A high pitched error scream came from Valerie’s phone. “Styler, turn it down!” The redhead went to duck inside the base to check, until a staticky voice came from the rotom-possessed phone.

“Don’t go in THERE!”

Styler hated the voice options from the phone. They refused to use them, using their own natural chirps to communicate. Or if absolutely necessary, Valerie’s own styler options. Either one worked to convey a message or be used in a prank.

The automatic doors of the base shut in front of Valerie. The sensor should keep them open. Styler wouldn’t be able to be in her phone and-

Instantly, Valerie took off for the docks, reading the message that came in. There was no way this was a prank from Shadow, right? The reserved person didn’t seem to be up for pranks, just healing. Valerie’s styler beeped with a new message from the Rangernet.

“Ranger Winters, turn over your Ultra styler, you will be escorted to HQ.”

Something is wrong. Valerie’s heart is racing more. Everything felt so fragmented.

“Styler. Do what you can. Disconnect me from the rangers, now.” Her voice was so even, the training she had before she forgot and the training from after falling kicked in. The pokemon possessed their nicknamesake, causing it to glitch in error. Valerie could feel her heart stop, until the screen lit up with a winky emoji.

The most important thing now was to find help and to get off of Malie. The union was likely watching the skies and the docks, making travel that way not easy.

On Route 11, Valerie dialed, praying that the phone would be answered. No, dammit! She couldn’t leave a voicemail. She tried again. No dice. Route 12 was looming ahead, a difficult trek on foot. She’d have to give up on calling anyone until she could get away.

Halligan navigated the rough terrain, despite how rough it was on his feet and how tightly his ranger held onto him. Valerie recalled him, then looked out at the beach. There was a mantine, waiting away from the others. It was a wild one, hoping for treats.

Dread filled Valerie’s stomach at the thought. It felt like an unknown evil reaching out of the waters to grab her. She could stall a bit, right? Even with a partner pokemon like a mudsdale, it would take the rangers a bit to get here. Maybe they’d give up- no, rangers don’t give up. People are relying on her.

One, two.... the third loop closed on the confused mantine, capturing it. Valerie checked her styler. Mantine wasn’t recorded into her browser. The Ultra Styler was disconnected from the union. She couldn’t wait anymore. 

Slowly, the fleeing ranger climbed onto Mantine’s back. It took some coaxing and pokebeans to get it to go out farther into the water, but soon, it was speeding off.

There was only so far they could go like this.

Almia was... different. Smaller than Unova by far, and boasting a far more natural landscape than what he was used to. It was the kind of drastic change he had needed after fleeing the only region he'd ever known, hoping that - should he run far and fast enough - he might just be able to leave behind the memories of that castle and everything that had happened within it.

The police would be looking for him too, no doubt. Puppet leader or not, he'd still played a part in bringing widespread fear and manipulation across Unova, tearing apart pokemon-Trainer duos in the name of liberation. If they proved themselves a persistent nuisance, he'd have to think about relocating again soon.

...But that was an issue for later. He had the whole rest of his life to mull over those things, if necessary, and Almia had provided a wealth of new information for him to learn from in the meantime.
