Umm... hey! With relation to your post specifically on Deanna blaming the gods, I just wanted to understand one thing on resurrection in general... in a way, I think there are two factors when it comes to resurrection - the willingness of the dead person to come back and the fate of the person (which is the Raven Queen's Domain if I caught it right. Idk, I started watching from EXU prime and C3 and only know tit bits of C1 and C2)
Without these two, no matter the ritual, the resurrection doesn't really take place, right? UNLESS, there is another influence that I am missing...
hey anon! there are a couple of things going on in regards to this.
You're right in saying that, with every resurrection spell except for revivify, the soul of the target must be willing to return. But there's another key word in there: the soul must also be free. The exact wording on all of these spells (resurrection, true resurrection, reincarnate, and raise dead) is "if the target is free and willing." Because we've seen people come back from the dead using spells other than revivify before, we therefore know that souls in the afterlife have some measure of freedom -- the spells require that. So there's no influence except the soul's own willingness that's keeping a soul in the domain of the gods.
As for the Raven Queen, she doesn't oversee death itself, and her being the goddess of death is kind of a misnomer. She specifically looks over the moment of death, and the transition that happens there. Once a soul passes through her domain, it's out of her control, and she can't stop it from returning (or, if she can, she's never displayed that ability in all the resurrections we've seen on the show).
The role of fate in this is..... unclear. People on Exandria have threads of fate, but we don't know whether the threads guide the people or the other way around. The Matron of Ravens, Ioun, and the existence of the fate-touched seem to imply that the threads can't be altered in their path by normal people; whereas the visions Caleb saw in the Luxon beacons imply that the decisions people make directly influence the direction of their thread.
We also don't know what happens to a thread of fate when that person dies -- whether it just ends, or rejoins a skein like we saw behind the Matron in TLoVM, or continues into the afterlife. With Deanna, it's possible that her death cut her thread of fate and she no longer has one; it's possible that she has a new one because she was restored to new life; it's possible that she was always fated to be resurrected, so her thread continued through the afterlife; and it's possible that there is no fate in front of her (or anyone) at all.
In short there are a lot of unknowns, especially regarding fate. But, as per true resurrection, her soul must have been both free and willing to return to the Prime Material Plane at the moment of resurrection. It's also entirely possible that she's grappling with regretting that decision and the consequences of it as well as with everything else.

This is your daily reminder Keyleth has been angry for 30 years. Her boyfriend is a marble. She doesn't care who is in attendance, she will swear.

I feel like Keyleth's anger has been simmering for 30 years and Vax being used to power the bridge and being in agony was the last drop of water for her.

Matt said that because of the nature of the assault, it's possible that the cast can play their Vox Machina and Mighty Nein characters again.
THIS IS INSANE. PLEASE MAKE IT HAPPEN.
