Tonight is Steve and Tony's anniversary. And since they have the night off, it's the perfect time for Steve to tie Tony to the bed and drive him out of his mind, until Tony can barely remember his own name. It is definitely not the perfect time for Ghost to attack Stark Tower.

Steve turns Tony's head and kisses his lips. "You're not putting me through anything I'm not willing to go through to keep you safe from the people that would try to take you away from me. I'd do anything for you Tony. Understand?"

A trip to Asgard goes awry and leaves Steve and Tony to defend their relationship against those that would tear them asunder by getting married. And then having sex. Because why not?

Damnit, Tony Stark is Iron Man so how the hell had he gotten drafted into the Avengers' girlfriends club? As is common in most of my universes, Tony's identity as Iron Man is not well known nor does he carry highly identifiable suitcase armor. All DC characters are as fictional in this verse as in ours.

Tony hasn't seen Steve since Siberia, and he's happy about that. He doesn't miss Steve, obviously, or wish their relationship had ended differently. But when Steve turns up on his doorstep, injured and pleading for Tony to help him rescue his team from a Hydra cell in Lichtenbad, Tony agrees, on one condition: after this, they're done. When this is over, he never wants to see or hear from Steve again.
