I wonder what lifestyle allows you to feel like a Tuesday is a Sunday; I’m rather jealous.

Idol pets is a fun subject, so I accept your creative exercise. But, we should keep in mind an idol pet who has been slighted as of late. If this pet could talk, he’d be speaking to Variety and the Hollywood Reporter, or even TMZ. We must think of Yeontan, pet of BTS Taehyung, who couldn’t travel for the recent MV shooting and was thus recast with a lookalike. I can only imagine his agent is angry and demanding some sort of recompense.

If Tannie would stray from Taennie, I think he would be at home with SHINee Key’s Commes Des. Commes Des gets in some trouble, and that might be enough to distract Tannie from his current woes.

Key’s Garçons is a bitch. We all know that. And we love it; like father, like son. I think he might need to be a lone wolf. I mean, BTOB Chansub’s beagle didn’t fair that well with Commes Des or Garçons.

Taeyeon’s doggie Zero is an eligible bachelor. He’s a wealthy entrepreneur dog with his SPAO collaboration. I could see Tannie having some dates with Zero. Maybe it could be a love match.

Now, let’s have a side of gossip with our pet life. Ten has two cats, Louis and Leon. He is there owner, but a certain someone takes care of them when Ten’s not around. That would be Yangyang. Have you encountered Ten and Yangyang recently? The vibes are off the charts.

One might think that Taemin's Kkoongie and Ddaengie could be their own love match, but they’re brother and sister; let’s not be weird. Could Louis or Leon win Kkoongie’s love? She’s been raised a spoiled princess and has the highest of standards. Perhaps Louis with his debonaire good looks could win Kkoongie’s heart.

Time and Space Folding

The title of this fig comes from Zhehan's beautiful unreleased song, "When Glaciers Disappear" that he sang the first part of on the Elizabeth Arden livestream. Very suitable for this fig set, where we have Zhang Zhehan and Gong Jun in their Word of Honor styling with modern clothes.

The lyrics to this song are hauntingly beautiful. The first line of the song is, 如果时空折叠街景后退, which roughly translates to, If time and space folds and the streets go backwards

Pre-wig, but with the apple!

And for Zhehan, I can't find this specific photo and this specific outfit! I searched through all my pics (which are badly organized and not at all thorough, clearly), and have disappointed not only you but myself. In recompense I can only offer these ones of him in his wig and hairclips in modern clothes.

Thanks to the clever and talented Ennis, the inspiration for Zhehan's fig styling has been found! I will leave my other Zhehan pics here because they are too beautiful to delete, but continue on...

The last one is a screenshot from his behind the scenes walkthrough of the costuming room from Youku, similar to the one Gong Jun did.

Finally, here's the pictures! This was a fan visit during filming. Zhehan's look here is really such a fun blend of the ancient and the modern - no wonder the fig maker found this so inspirational.

So cute. We see them here with their socks and slides, which never fails to make me giggle.

I'm so happy I have the inspiration pic for these figs now - I can really see all the details the maker put into it.

Everyone loves white hair Junjun. Every time I see him with the white hair I flash back to the BTS of Zhehan fascinated by his wig. It really IS a crime we didn't get more airtime with white haired Wen Kexing.

Better view of all that luxurious mass of hair being held back by the hair clips. I actually love all the BTS shots with their hair neatly clipped and also when they tie the hair back in ponytails. It just seems like such a wonderful sneak peek into all the behind the scenes TV magic.

Not a whole lot to see from this angle other than the full shot of the apple and Zhehan's socks.

I bought these off Xianyu since I missed them the first time around. The boxes came in good shape, but no cards were included. These boxes are quite unique - no other figs have come in kraft-paper boxes with these string ties. I like them!

TITANFALL 2 FANS NEED TO SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT APEX

Okay, got your attention.

So, lemme preface this by saying that I like Tiranfall 2. Its not appearing anywhere near my favourite games of all time, but for the genre it inhabited (military gun-wank shooter) it was way better than it had any right being. The movement was fluid and dynamic, the titan combat was a neat gimmick and, what I think most people latch on to, the relationship between Cooper and BT was endearing enough to carry the whole game's narrative.

Now, with that said: Apex is better. Narratively at least.

All the characters are actual characters with backstories that reinforce how they behave in meaningful and noticeable ways and actually have narrative progression, they all have great interpersonal relationships, like I adore Bloodhound and Fuse's friendship or (and smite me down for saying I actually enjoy a love triangle) the complicated relationships between Loba, Valkyrie and Bangalore, like there's a lot more beyond just dating there, there's a lot to be said about Bangalore's self sabotaging tendencies because of her complex surrounding what she deems her duty and how she keeps pushing people away while trying to protect them, or how Valkyrie (imo) is a better fit for Loba because she openly calls out similar behaviour from her as opposed to reinforcing it.

The single emotional narrative of TF|2 is good more because of BT than it is Cooper

Because Cooper doesn't have much personality other than being generically sarky and good natured

It's less so 'Oh my girlfriend broke up with me, now I don't talk to people anymore!' and more like 'Oh my parents were brutally murdered in front of my eyes by a killer robot when I was a child leading me to take on a life of crime in a life-long pursuit for vengeance, putting those who get close to me in danger and at the climax of which I realise how hollow my vengeance is and how no recompense will ever be enough for me so I continue knowing that revenge is all I have left now, blinded by it and to the people who care for me'

Like seriously whenever anyone even MENTIONS TF|2 or pilots on the Apex sub the usual suspects come out of the woodwork to make multi-long (multi-emoji, ew) posts about how Jack Cooper could step into the Apex Games and single handedly break the necks of all the legends with a single flex of his massive dick.

Oh also it hasn't gone unnoticed that over a non-binary techno-viking hunter, a big cuddly gay Pacific Islander who calls down a fucking orbital strike and a British-Indian gremlin woman running around with a mini-gun calling people plonkers that a lot of Gamers TM worship the de-facto military gun-wank (presumably) straight, cis white dude.

If I don't get buried alive for this post I may make a follow up on how Apex's extended lore of TF|2, namely how they treat legacy characters like Blisk, Viper and Ash, is dope.

Eliza has said, in regards to her marriage, that “[She and Bob] weren’t trying to break the internet.” Truth be told, I always thought it was a bit of an odd detail to say. But if it’s true that Jason resented the attention and love Beliza’s marriage received from fans, well...it all makes sense then, doesn’t it? The bts story ties together with a grotesque bow.

Bob and Eliza fell in love, got married, and announced it to the world. Consequently, Jason systemically dismantled Bellamy, Clarke, and Bellarke as recompense for his bruised planet-sized ego and his reluctant loss of absolute control.

Bellarke and its character constituents suffered because they existed at the mercy of a man-child undergoing the mother of all temper tantrums. An exercise in megalomania over two real people choosing to carve out some happiness for themselves in this short, often bleak life, by denying their fictional counterparts the same resolution. And he made sure we, the fans supporting all his targets, knew it.

Who would have thought that on a show with betrayal and murder as thematic cornerstones within the narrative and between character dynamics, the most heinous of the lot would come from its puerile showrunner? How very Doylist of him.

Now that I think about it, it’s starting to make sense why, towards the end of filming, some cast members pointed to Beliza’s marriage when asked about Bellarke’s fate. “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”

A chorus of “A-men” resounded throughout the sanctuary and Jimin joined in with his fellow parishioners. His head was bowed low and he clasped his hands together in prayer, hoping that he could commend his spirit unto the Father whom he so desperately believed in. He wished to leave his burdens on the altar and rest his mind as easily as he would dare.

But even in that act, Jimin was a sinner.

Every Sunday he tried to leave his pain and worries and everything that afflicted him at the altar of the Lord – at God’s table. But he selfishly took something back with him every time. He did not fully relinquish his burdens upon God because he also knew that the Father would never put on him more than he could bear. He believed that his anxieties were seemingly petty. They were the young and foolish woes of a man who barely knew what it meant to live his life.

And yet, despite his hypocrisy, Jimin continued to return to the House of the Lord. He continued to pray diligently; not for himself, but for his brothers. For the people he cared about and for the people they, in turn, cared for. It was a never-ending cycle, a seemingly bottomless pit. Or was it more appropriate to say that the connections that people had with each other could literally number the stars?

Would it be that way for generations to come? He wished for it; for the pain and suffering to end. For a true and lasting peace to be obtained.

He truly wasn’t meant to remain in a world of darkness.

Halfway through the reverend’s sermon, the doors to the sanctuary opened. A few parishioners turned their heads and bowed politely, their smiles warm and inviting. Jimin continued to focus on his prayer, Bible turned to Romans in his lap. However, a shadow was cast over the pages and he couldn’t help but to lift his head and see who was now standing beside him.

Jimin’s mouth fell open slightly and he blinked when he realized it was Eden.

Her hair was pulled back, a low braid draping over her shoulder. She wore a dark green dress with long sleeves and the skirt just barely touched her knees. Simple, black pumps adorned her feet and she was holding a black and gold clutch in her hands. A frown touched her lips before she sat down gently beside him, reaching toward the back of the pew for a Bible.

“What book are we in?” she whispered while opening the book.

“Wha—oh, we’re in Romans. Romans, Chapter twelve.”

Nodding, she turned to the book of Romans and followed along with the reverend as he continued to preach his sermon. No other words were spoken between them and they both sat together in companionable silence. They sang together, prayed together, and even participated in Holy Communion together. It was when Jimin finished off the wine that he realized why Eden decided to show up.

It was First Sunday. No matter how busy or how upset she was with the world, Eden always made time to come to Holy Communion.

After the morning service was finished, fellow parishioners invited everyone to enjoy a meal together. Jimin often declined since he had other obligations during the day. This morning would be no different.

Both he and Eden politely bowed to the others before exiting the church.

Her heels clicked along the stone walkway leading to the steps that fanned out toward the parking lot. Jimin’s longer legs kept pace with her the entire way. However, instead of returning to her vehicle or even out onto the main street where she would have taken the bus, Eden turned and walked along the path leading toward the church’s expansive back garden. Jimin followed since she didn’t seem to protest his company.

When she reached a stone bench, Eden sat down and fished around in her clutch. Jimin couldn’t help the smirk that touched his lips as she pulled out a cigarette. Shaking his head, he sighed and took a seat next to her.

“Really?” He couldn’t help but laugh. “We just finished with service.”

Eden pointed two fingers at him, the cigarette perched between them. “Don’t start, Jimin-ah,” she said while pulling out a lighter. “The Lord will be happy that I showed up for service at all.”

He wasn’t going to argue with her on that. After everything that happened, he was almost positive that Eden wasn’t going to show up to church ever again. Jimin understood why she was upset, and he didn’t blame her for doubting him or even Jungkook. But it would have been a lie to himself if her mistrust didn’t hurt him. It did. They’d known each other for the better part of three years now. Despite being a devout Christian, the path he walked often forced him to go against the teachings of the Lord.

Jimin felt so dirty when he entered sacred ground.

Like Jungkook, Jimin did not hide his affiliation with the criminal underworld from Eden. She accepted it and didn’t even look down on him for his status. She even once told him that the fact that he went to church meant that he felt some semblance of guilt for what he was doing. He always prayed in earnest and Eden knew that he was genuinely kind and decent human being. At least that was how she saw him. At the end of the day, however, it was how he was seen in the eyes of God that mattered the most.

Being reminded of that by her lifted his spirits even just a little.

He waited until she exhaled smoke from her nostrils to speak. “Eden Noona,” Jimin prodded softly, “about Yoongi Hyung…”

“If you’re about to give me some kind of excuse for what he did, then don’t bother.” She tapped a bit of ash from the end of her cigarette. “I’m not in the mood.”

Jimin sighed. “Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”

She crossed one leg over the other, cradling her arm as she held her cigarette away from her face. Eden’s eyes cut sideways to look at him and he could see a mixture of anger and hurt swirling in her eyes. “Vengeance is mine, and recompense, for the time when their foot shall slip; for the day of their calamity is at hand, and their doom comes swiftly.” She took a long drag from her cigarette, flicking off an ash as smoke exhaled from between her lips. “Thus saith the Lord.”

“You can’t hold onto that forever, Noona. Him aside, it’s not good for you.”

He watched her crush out the cherry on the ground by her shoe before tossing it into a nearby waste basket. She saw her smirk, but it was a mirthless gesture. “I bet you don’t even know how long he and I were together, do you?” Eden turned to look at him. “Or how we even met?”

Jimin shook his head, his brows furrowing. “But I can listen, if you’d like.”

She scoffed, a hand reaching up to finger at her braid. “We met in the States six years ago. I guess you could say we were friends. But considering that everything I’ve known about him has been a lie, now I’m not so sure.” Sighing, she let her hand fall to her lap. “I came here a year after that. We started dating then. And we continued to date for three more years.”

Jimin’s heart thumped heavily against his chest. Five years ago?

It was an absolute madhouse in their world and yet Yoongi continued to make time for a woman he cared for? There was a part of Jimin that could hardly believe what he was hearing. The Yoongi Hyung he knew was deemed as The Lightning Claw for a reason. He was swift and deadly, striking without provocation and leaving devastation in his wake. The world they entered nearly ten years ago was at its peak of violence and chaos back then. Blood splattered across the streets and sometimes the aftermath was so terrible that not even the police would step in.

“For three years, I believed he was keeping me away from his friends and family because he didn’t want them to know he was dating some half Korean orphan girl. He would leave for days, supposedly on a business trip, and then come back like nothing happened.”

But now that he thought about it, there were days that Yoongi would just take off. He would disappear and come back a few days later. Even after he started making more international moves, he would never be gone for more than a week or so at a time. And when he came home, he would do his standard debriefing before heading out again. They all assumed he was with someone, but he never spoke up about it. Jimin even remembered Yoongi almost coming to blows with Taehyung when he wouldn’t ease off with his incessant teasing, prodding Yoongi to introduce her to them.

“I never knew where he lived but he always came to my house. We hardly went out in Gangnam and when we did, it was always late. We mostly would just take trips together out of town. It just didn’t make sense to me.”

When the fighting was especially bad, Yoongi waited until all his injuries were completely healed before disappearing again. While Jimin couldn’t imagine what persona his brother was attempting to portray, he knew that he never wanted Eden to worry over him because of how bloody and disgusting their world actually was. Wanting to push her as far away from that madness as possible certainly wasn’t unreasonable.

But he knew that Eden wouldn’t see it that way. She’d been damaged by his dishonesty which, as a result, caused her current trust issues. Now, after finding out the truth, he honestly couldn’t be upset with how standoffish she was being. Who wouldn’t be?

“All this time, I thought he was just bored or was too busy to be with me. But the truth?” Eden scoffed, then laughed. “He was ashamed.”

“Eden Noona,” offered Jimin, causing her to look away from him, “I’m sure it wasn’t like that. In fact, I know it wasn’t. We all bothered him constantly about who he was always running off to go see, but Hyung never wanted to give up any details and we respected his privacy enough not to get involved.” He lifted his hand to touch Eden’s shoulder. “You don’t understand what life was like back then. Turf wars were happening all over Seoul and we were just fighting to keep a leg up in the game. I’m sure he just didn’t want you to get mixed up in all of that or even get hurt.”

He saw her roll her eyes. “The path to hell is paved with good intentions.” She rounded on him. “That wasn’t his choice to make, Jimin-ah!” Her eyes narrowed. “Do you even realize how much danger he put me in by keeping me in the dark? What if a rival gang decided to kidnap me? What if they tried to use me to take advantage of you guys?”

Jimin averted his gaze, realizing that she wasn’t wrong either. He knew that going into a situation blindly was just as dangerous as knowingly walking into enemy territory. Had that very scenario occurred, there was a good chance that it would have ended badly. The times were not so forgiving in those days. Even Jimin transformed into a monster, seeing red and spilling blood as easily as a child spilled milk.

“I understand why you’re angry, Noona, I do,” he said, his hand sliding off her shoulder, “but there’s no way for us to determine if what he did was the best choice or the worst choice.” He lifted his gaze to meet hers. “Can’t you just forgive him this once? Not for his sake, but for yours?”

He didn’t move his eyes from hers, hoping that his sincerity would come across as best as he could. It was no secret how Jungkook felt about Eden and while he wasn’t sure if Yoongi still felt the same, he wanted there to be peace between them all. They were so close to finally walking away from the darker parts of their past. They were finally going to be able to step out into the light again; to feel the sun on their cheeks and the rain on their skin. They could stop hiding and go back to being the people they used to be before willfully walking onto the road of darkness.

“I don’t want to see this eating away at you anymore.”

Eden sighed and stood from the stone bench. Jimin immediately followed, watching her flatten out the skirts of her dress in the front. A soft breeze pushed against them, blowing his hair in different directions. A pained expression crossed her face before she took a breath and looked back at him. Her eyes seemed less angry, yet they appeared more hurt than they had been just a few minutes earlier.

“…I need time, Jimin-ah,” she finally said, causing a small ache to form in his chest. It was the softest he’d ever heard her speak in all the years he’d known her. “I just need some time to finally let it all go.”

Then she smiled at him, her hand reaching out to ruffle his hair a little bit. He gave a weak smile in response before watching her turn to head down the rest of the path and out of the garden. Jimin stood alone, waiting until he could no longer hear the clicking of her heels going down the sidewalk. When he turned his phone back on, there were a couple of missed calls, four text messages and one voicemail.

It was from Hoseok.

“Jimin-ah. I know you’re in service, so you don’t have to call me back. Come home as soon as you’ve finished. I’ll give you all the details when everyone is back.”

Sliding his phone into his pocket, he saw the small cluster of dark clouds beginning to form through the canopy of trees. A storm was coming.

“So,” Jimin said, his voice quiet, “it’s finally happening.”

World Trigger Ch179 ‘Amatori Chika 7’ Translation

So apologies first for missing last month. I was out of the country and had no idea that even Tumblr is blocked in China now until way too late. Oops. I suppose I could have used that chance to finally make a blog or something like I’ve been meaning to but I think Blogspot’s banned too...

Anyway, it worked out because World Trigger had to go on a short hiatus this month because Ashihara got intestinal blockage from complications from his surgery (he’s already released from the hospital and is healing well but jeepers cripes...) so I’m posting last month’s chapter (which was only 1 chapter because Ashihara had to prepare for his surgery). Volume 20 still came out today on schedule and I’ll be translating the extras from it over the next week or so (I’m still distracted though...thanks BTS for getting me back into Kpop after 10 years of freedom...)

It feels a month too late to give my commentary on this chapter, but ahhhhhhhhh Chikaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! One of my favourite types of characters is the one who is self-centred/absorbed, is self-aware enough to realise that about themselves, and hate themselves for it. Chika was already one of my faves but now she is absolutely my favourite character. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh~

Also, some interesting reveals for Yuba squad: like why they dropped to mid tier but now is back. And they called him 'Yuba-san'! Proof that he's 18 or older?? Sad that once again we have more of an All-rounder than a Gunner, but this way it does seem likely that Yuba is a high ranking one, maybe even the most high ranking Gunner?? 

In conclusion, we should be back to two chapters per month next month but who knows how these surgery complications screwed things up? At least we have new characters to look forward to. And the new volume!

Você estava preocupada que os pais dele não achariam o chão limpo o suficiente. Ele estava inacreditavelmente confuso. Um, ele mantinha a casa limpa pois esse era o regime de vocês, as roupas eram suas e ele limparia o chão e tiraria o pó. Dois, a família dele nem viria para o apartamento? Tipo nem perto. Tittle: Award Shows Words: 1K Pairing: Mia/Everybody; 10th Member of EXO Summary: Just a snippet about what happens at behind the scenes at the award shows.   

Mia wasn’t a big fan of award shows. Sure she got to see her friends from the industry that she couldn’t find time because of busy scheldue. And she got to see all those amazing performances which were like concerts that she couldn’t go. But the fact that cameras were following her every move scared her a little. If something will go wrong then the whole country or even world will talk about it. 

Also award shows were so long that it was actually really hard to get through them all. It helped Mia that she had eight people around her that would always keep her busy with everything going around, but still it was very boring. 

One thing that she was always scared about the most, beside giving a speech, was performing on those awards shows. And as we all know EXO, very popular group, especially in south Korea, was performing on a lot of those type of events. 

Mia didn’t like it mostly because, like there was mentioned earlier, cameras were everywhere. If she messes up, it’s gonna be everywhere. That would most likely happen because even if she’s perfectionist and likes to have everything under a control, she was  usually the one that forgot the lyric or messed the dance move. 

They were currently back stage, waiting for their performance to come. Three of them were sitting on the bench next to wall, while Chanyeol and Jumnyeon were rehearsing for the last time before going on stage.

‘Okay remember, if I fall just pick me, right?’, Mia said once again, while walking back and forth in front of Sehun, Baekhyun and Kyungsoo. She was rubbing her hand on the sides of her tights, trying to get rid of the sweat. ‘Everytime.’, Mia thought to herself. ‘Everytime before performing I feel like I’m about to faint. When will it end?’

‘Have you considered not wearing hells? It’d be more confortable for you and less job for us.’, Jongdae advised, standing right next to Mia and she just let out fake laugh.

‘I will do it as soon as our choreograher stops putting me between Sehun and Jongin.’, she explained, crossing arms on her chest. ‘I look like a five year old in the middle.’

‘Wait, are you not five years old?’, Sehun questioned, looking at her. His eyes wide and mouth slightly open.

‘Very funny.’, Mia said and showed him her tongue. And right after that Sehun did the same to her. 

‘I know. I actually think I’m hilarious. Thank you for acknowledging me.’, he added. 

‘Mia, why are you never wearing long dresses on red carpet?’, Baekhyun asked looking somewhere behind her. She turned her head just to see pair of presenters walking from stage. Woman was walking in front of the man and she was wearing beautiful and long dress. Mia was looking at this picture in little shock, because they were so beautiful, untill man stepped on the end of the dress which made the woman stop.

‘That is the reason.’, she answered, looking away from the angry woman. ‘If I would wear something like this to an award show I would be on the floor within two steps, because non of you look where you walk. Some of you can’t even walk on a side walk properly.’

‘Hey! You’re the one who’s tripping over her own feet.’, Minseok exclaimed, joining the conversation.

‘Yes, but I don’t bring you down with me.’, Mia looked over at the oldest one in the group. 

‘That was only one time and you know it wasn’t on purpose.’

‘Whether it was on purpose or not, it’s questionable. And I still have bruise on my leg.’, Mia nagged and as Minseok was about to say something back, they were called on stage. 

After the performance Mia felt like everything was way different. As soon as she got on the stage all the nerves went away and she could enjoy the performance. And fans with their chants only helped her even more. 

Now all nine of them were just sitting and waiting for another performance. Performance that Mia was waiting for the most. And like Junmyeon had his moment with Red Velvet few minutes ago, she was waiting for her moment with BTS.

Mia was quite a big fan of BTS. Some of EXO-ls were calling her eight member of BTS, after seeing fancams from other award shows. When they realised their new album she was blasting it in the droms for three days straight. So now she couldn’t just wait to hear some of her favourite songs live. Some of the interviewers caught that and were joking about it around her. Countless questions who’s her favourite member and what’s her favourite song.

(But to answer your question: she doesn’t have her favourite. She couldn’t understand how can you choose when all of them are so different from each other. But on the other hand Mia had so much respect for people who chose their biases and stayed faithful to them.)

All  four songs that boys performed were fully sang by her. And although she was always saying that she’s not a rapper and it’s not her thing, when BTS’ songs came out she could be dancer, singer and rapper at once. And this time wasn’t any different. Sometimes Baekhyun and Chanyeol would join her one jump in with some weird moves that would make Mia laugh.

She knew very well that tomorrow she’ll be tagged both on Twitter and Instagram in multiple photos and video of people making fun of her. But she didn’t really care this was recompense and price after hours of training and being nervous so now she could relax, even for a little bit, before coming back to the real world.

“Oh my god I am so sorry” you jumped back in surprise as you saw your coffee spill onto the white shirt, the owner of which happened to be Jeongguk. Silence fell over the loud cafeteria as all eyes turned towards you and Jeongguk, anticipating his reaction. You waited for him to furiously yell at you for embarrassing him in front of everyone. But it didn’t come. Instead his eyes settled on yours, his lips curving up into a small smile.

“ I usually like to drink my coffee not have it spilled on me” he finished with a chuckle as he wiped off the coffee with his hands.

“I am so sorry Mr Jeon. I wasn’t watching where I was going. I know I am at fault and if you want to punish me for this go ahead.” your voice came out breaking and faltering. Your hands automatically came up to cover your face due to the embarrassment you were feeling.

“ Don’t worry y/n. I am sure this isn’t something you do regularly. Is it?” You shook your head in response.

“I feel so bad. I am so sorry. I’ll help you clean this up” you fumbled around in your bag for a handkerchief and thankful to the heavens you found one. You gently dabbed it on his shirt, allowing the liquid to be soaked in.

“This was my new suit” your hands immediately stopped working as you looked up at him and gulped.

“ Oh no…” you sulked. He was definitely going to fire you. Your hands immediately started working faster at the thought hoping to recompense for the damage you caused.

Jeongguk watched in amusement as your forehead fell into a frown in concentration and couldn’t help but smile as your face almost came close to his. You didn’t realize how little distance was left between you two, so surprised you jumped back.

“Sorry..” You mumbled, nervously playing with the handkerchief in your hands.

“I am not” he breathed out and scratched the back of his neck. You caught his remark and watched as he looked at you curiously, with interest and without a hint of playfulness in his eyes. He was completely serious and you knew he was for your response but the moment you had looked at him you found yourself at a loss for words.

“So is that offer for punishment still valid?” He spoke breaking the awkward tension in the air. Immediately your head shot up at him in surprise. He was smiling down at you and you weren’t liking how your stomach was refusing to settle down. He assumed your lack of response to be your confirmation “Good. Accompany me” he fixed his tie and walked past you while you stood glued to your spot, confused as to what was happening.

You weren’t expecting to come into a posh boutique as your punishment. You almost tripped on the stairs walking up in awe, surveying the dresses, bags and shoes around you. You had only dreamed of such places , witnessed their existence in fashion documentaries never once imagining yourself being present in such a store. Jeongguk shook his head at your astounded expression, smiling to himself. He surveyed your profile taking in every curve of your facial features. He cleared his throat more to compose himself but in the process managed to draw you out of your daze.

A woman in his mid thirties was waiting by the entrance of a grand trial room, situated in front of which were 2 couches. Jeongguk took a seat in one and nodded once to the unnamed woman who suddenly began to lead you inside the room. You stuttered in your steps, hesitating and turning around to look at Jeongguk

“ I would like you try few of these dresses. I am taking someone out on a date and she seems to be about your frame. Consider this your first punishment. Your face screwed up in further confusion at his last comment. 

Just how many punishments am I for? It was just coffee.

But you knew that the price you were paying for a mistake was a small one. You felt guilty about ruining his branded suit and you were aware of the little room that it left you for refusing. He could have fired you if he wanted and you were thankful that he wasn’t being a jerk about the situation.

Turning back around you passed small smile to the lady who led you into the trail room where she helped you slip into a navy blue dress. It was plain, no embellishments but it hugged your waist in the right place and enhanced your figure. You smoothed the fabric of the dress running your hands up and down, admiring yourself in the mirror. You suddenly felt a rush of confidence fill your body and begin to transform your slightly sulky posture into a tall, erect one.

You stepped out of the room and made your way through to the curtains where you peeked your head and watched as Jeongguk’s forehead was creased in concentration as his fingers hurriedly typed away on the screen. His tongue peeked through his teeth and he suddenly looked up and caught you staring at him. Eyes widening at being caught you stumbled through and pushed the hem of your dress down under the scrutiny of his gaze. Jeongguk gave you a once over leaning forward.

He was nodding slowly, in approval you assumed. Maybe you had forgotten that the dress wasn’t for you but you were happy that he approved and the small smile that way making its way onto his lips was causing to mirror the same expression yourself. But before he could catch you smiling, your face fell into a neutral expression.

“We’ll take this one” he looked over at the woman behind you who seemed to approve of his choice as well since she grinned up at the both of you. Her steps were eager as she led you back into the room and you slipped out of the dress and into your business like work clothes, suddenly feeling much more hesitant to go out  in front of him.

Wearing such a elegant dress had filled you with so much confidence that you saw the contrast to your natural plain image. Suddenly you began to question all the times you had caught Jeongguk staring at you. Reminiscing said moments made you more self conscious as you were helpless in your rumination of how he perceived you in those moments. Did he think you were pretty or did he look at you because your simple looks attracted his attention?

“I wish I had a man like him” you were drawn out of your thoughts by the voice of the woman. “Sorry?” you questioned at having missed her comment. “ He is a good man. He loves you a lot” she smiled warmly at you as she hung the dress back up on the hanger.

“Oh no. No. He isn’t my boyfriend. He is actually my boss. I work for him”

“ Oh really? That’s a shame because I think he likes you” she patted your shoulder and walked out leaving you once again to your chaotic thoughts. You walked out in a daze once again managing to bump into Jeongguk whose hands came onto your shoulders to support you.

“Do you always do this? Bump into people?” He smiled down at you, playfulness evident in his tone.

“I swear I don’t. This is the first time” you looked at him apologetically, stepping back out of his grasp.

Before he could speak again he was interrupted by the kind but misinformed lady and your cheeks flushed as you remembered her words. “Your dress is packed sir” she bowed slightly and Jeongguk responded in the same way. You followed behind him trying to hide your blush by placing your cold hands on your cheeks to soothe the heat. You bumped into him once again as you weren’t watching where your were going and smacked your head against his back. He laughed out loud, turning around to face you momentarily.

“Don’t make a habit out of this because other people might not be as forgiving as I am” he whispered close to your face, eyes crinkling as he tried to stop himself from smiling.

Shit. Shit. Shit

You stepped out into the sun and guarded your face against the fierce heat by blocking your face with your hands but a sudden shade falling over you made you look up and to your side you found Jeongguk. He was towering over you, enough for the sunlight to be blocked.

“Do you like the dress?” he looked down at you

“It’s very beautiful. But shouldn’t you ask the girl you are taking out on a date?” you looked at him with frown.

“I just did” he smirked at you once again, pleasantly surprised at your confused expression. “Wait…” you were a bit slow to catch on as he had already started making his way towards the parking lot.You jogged up to him and stopped in front of him blocking his way. “What do you mean?” “ You feel bad for ruining my brand new expensive suit right?” You nodded.

“Then consider this date your punishment. I’ll pick you up at 6 pm. Don’t forget your dress” he placed the bag in your hand.You opened your mouth, but closed it because you were at a loss for words. You hadn’t seen that coming and you couldn’t complain because whatever the odds may be you would take the chance at a date with Jeongguk rather than let it go.

Deixando as chaves na mesinha de centro da sala junto com algumas peças de roupa, Hobi a chamou, mas não obteve resposta. Ele balançou a cabeça, sabendo exatamente onde você estava, e não mediu esforços para ir ao seu encontro na sala de ensaios.

E lá estava você. Movia os quadris e ousava a cantar algumas partes da música em que vez ou outra tinha palavras obscenas. O garoto parado à porta, levemente surpreso, sorriu ao vê-la se assustar com sua presença. Ele caminhou até você, a pegando com firmeza pelos quadris, o que te deixou com toda certeza sem falas.

Te prensando contra o espelho gelado da sala de ensaios, ele selou seus lábios, os mordiscando.

- Nunca lhe ensinaram para não me provocar, (s/n)? - Sussurrava contra sua boca. A puxando contra si, você pôde sentir o quanto estava excitado. - Nah…não responda, jagi. Terá de poupar voz para daqui a pouco.

4.20 reaction to all the fuckery er fakery...

Haven’t done one of these in a while and don’t know why I’m doing this one other than Red’s got me all riled up in some good ways and not so good ways.

I haven’t watched an ep like this since Luther Braxton conclusion when everything was great (!!) until Lizzy snatched her arm away and a piece of my soul died. So I really loved the episode and the twisty reveal until….I just didn’t anymore. I feel all alone on the island of tying someone to a chair ain’t that nice so don’t do that how about. 

Anyway let the ramble commence:

-random girl on the beach named Jennifer gets shoutout while Red’s daughter also named Jennifer hasn’t been mentioned since 2.2. File under writer’s why you so cruel?

-Recompense…why I heard this as Alan Shore altogether now lesbians!! I’m not sure but it was fun. For me not this poor bastard. File under should have been Tom in that barrel

-Niles the Butler!!! I mean Daniel Davis! welcome back and for god’s sake give this guy an actual story he’s beyond brilliant. file under The Nanny forever!!

-Red in socks, kicked back talking to Lizzy about a threat to her life while being anywhere but “not there” which is technically not a big fat lie but be careful playing fast and loose with the truth. file under keeping my eyes on you Red….because that view is nice  

-Ressler and Gale - these guys are perfect for one another. file under Jessler I will go down with this ship

-Gale you’re a loon and I wish I had some moral outrage regarding these killers Red killed. I’m saving that outrage for Meera, Ames, Asher etc. file under gale may need a padded cell at some point 

-Liz called Red “Red” not to Red but to Samar and well at least she doesn’t think his given name is Reddington because I was beginning to have my doubts. Liz has been pretty great these last few episodes and that is pretty great. file under highly suspicious behavior and will it stay or will it go?

-In all seriousness I don’t like guns being waved around at a school no matter how punk ass the kid is. Lets be better than that writers. file under bad messaging which y’all��excel at but that just wasn’t cute

-Marvin and the (fake) shade toward Ressler was so believable he should be pardoned for that alone. file under truth hurts

-Red and Dembe. James and Hisham. I appreciate this relationship more with every episode and interview. They are the show in so many ways now. Yes I love Red and Lizzy but since 3.10 lets get real Red and Dembe have also or in large part become the heart of the show. I’ve heard it said that Aram is the conscience of TBL and I can agree with this minus the tom thing but Dembe is Red’s conscience in so many ways. One of the few people that will speak the truth to him no matter what, something Red desperately needs. file under too beautiful for words and that heart to heart scene just take me to church or the ice rink I’m dead

-The good writing: the spider and the fly, dead dropping the body on a dead end street, the revenge monologue and the Red/Dembe scene I suppose illustrates why so many of us have that sliver of hope things will improve because of these little moments of greatness. file under why I’m pissed I need a bad writing section 

-The bad writing: Soooooo lemme get this straight. Last week seems Red accidentally unintentionally got some enemy’s kid killed in a fake af kidnapping so of course this week we got Red setting up a fake af Lizzy kidnapping. Never mind she was taken by Kirk recently and that might bring up some traumatic memories. Never mind this debt collector is a self described sociopath and Lizzy already lives with one does she need another wtf Raymond were you thinking?! Never mind Lizzy could have been hurt all to drag her to the woods to be used as bait to lure Kate and her heavily armed thugs there where AGAIN Lizzy could have been caught in the crossfire ALL WHILE TIED TO A CHAIR. Ok that reveal was A++++++++ fantastic and I saw the bts pics but was so caught up in the episode it really surprised me until my mini rage stroke a second later. Just my humble opinion but when Lizzy says “untie me” to Red she better damn well have given permission in the first place. file under I don’t like this vibe and clearly i’m being punked cross reference with how about have Lizzy in on it you idiots!

-Lizzy you took it like a champ and were nicer than I’d have been. Really loved the phone chats in this one. file under nice Lizzy sounds fake but she’s really being nice what the hell

-Kate…I don’t accept this retcon but James and Susan together are just too damn good. I know it’s coming to an end which is a reason I’ve been quiet(er) these last few eps. It’s a waste imo but seems all but done at this point. file under my Mr Kaplan deserved better

-Promo…I swear to god only TBL promos should come with a warning label. So half my brain says no way they’ll never do IT and the other half says well tptb have done every stupid thing you’ve said they absolutely will never do so…..the fear of a retcon is real. FYI Lizzy’s father is Sam and I will never quite understand the writers complete lack of understanding where adoption is concerned. So bring on that sperm donor reveal because the excitement is too much. file under I’ve never cared less about an issue in my entire life this is worse than politics and high school trig.

-I found much of 4.20 really fun to watch with some damn good writing but man do I hate what Red did. I also feel just smug enough that I can be pissed at him and disagree with his actions while being the shipper that I still am….unlike other ships that excuse ALL the shit their faves pull. file under smugly grumpy
