Wow I uh, didn’t expect an intro so soon as I was preparing but here ya go LMAO

Meet Himeros, my interpretation of the god of Sexual Desire!

He’s quite the short king of 5’5 (intentionally shorter than Buddha), loves listening to ballads, a big fan of Lady Gaga, but absolutely cannot stand the thought of unrequited love. It breaks him to the core. :[

He also represents my *ehem* desire for Buddha which had manifested into a pink man with curly red locks. Believed to be one of the many sons of Aphrodite, he is also one of the Erotes alongside his twin brother Eros. Eros handles romantic love, while he handles the more ‘physical’ aspects of such love.

Although he might look a liiittle far off from RoR’s blonde big busted Aphrodite, he has his own universe and Aphrodite, and are not related to each other at all. I’m also in the middle of redrawing his (8) brothers including Eros, who will be posted soon :}

At first, Himeros was nothing more than a filler or some form of self-insert to delulu with a man that I can’t have. But if I were a god, maybe, just maybe, there was a chance to interact with silly ol’ Buddha.

Their dynamic is mostly “I love you so much I want you to sleep with me” x “nah, not my thing” and I’ve already made quite a few works (fanworks for my own ship?) and they have their own ship name Buddhime!

Here’s a fanfic since I write a little, where his lore follows Buddha’s in reference to his life before ascending to godhood. A little angsty, but it explains everything you need to know about him and his/my love for Buddha -3-
