Hello!! Do you know of any fics where Ian and Mickey get married young(er)/before season 10? Kind of like how in Redeheaded Stepchildren they get married after season 4. Thank you for all that you do!! I love finding new fics to read by perusing your tags!

There’s not a whole lot of canon divergent pre season 10 marriage fics sadly (even in AU, they’re normally about season 10 age or older) , probably because Mickey was married already for a bit there. I tried to throw a list together but anyone feel free to make suggestions that match the ask!

The Heart It Beats Ian gives a little laugh, a look of incredulous delight on his face. “Did you just propose to me, Mickey Milkovich?” Season 5 divergence.

What Happens In Vegas “Please tell me what I think happened didn't happen,” Ian says, dropping down across from Lip and Mandy. Season 6 divergence.

Waking Up Love Drunk After Ian gets out of the hospital he and Mickey get drunk. and married. Season 5 divergence.

There’s Nothing Like The Southside Ian is engaged to Linus. Only problem is that he's already married to Mickey back in Chicago. But when Ian returns home for a divorce, he realizes that maybe things aren't quiet as bad as he thought they were. General divergence, borrows from the plot up to season 5ish.

Just a piece of paper A few months after the end of season 6, Ian and Mickey reunite under unexpected circumstances. They end up planning a fake marriage for a scam. But is this marriage really fake?

Chrissie went right away to the local bar. There was a woman in uniform at the counter. “Target spotted” said Chrissie approaching the woman.

Convincing the military personnel was harder than convincing the scientist, but finally the lady claimed: “I could give you an infection scanner, BUT you have to impress me”. “So, my charm isn’t enough this time” Chrissie thought while standing up. “Then, I’ll show you my athlethic skills!!!” The redehead started to do push-ups while the woman looked at her. Somehow, she was impressed and gave her the scanner. In that moment, Samantha entered the bar. “People here sure are easy to impress” Chrissie said to her friend. “You know, it’s Strangerville afterall”.
