So, that project I mentioned a while ago that had reached a point where it was going to be easier to start over completely and take a different approach? It's back on.

Originally, it was a built-from-scratch desert punk Post-Apocalyptic ttrpg with a heavy focus on vehicular combat. I had a dice system worked out that as far as I knew was totally new, and didn't require the players to do any real math. Weapons and armor were simplified, so instead of examining weapons lists to compare the mathematical superiority of various options (lookin at you, D&D, with your greatsword vs greataxe nonsense), you just picked a basic weapon type and called it whatever (like "rifle," without worrying about whether it's an AK 47 or an AK 74).

Turns out it's much easier to do a rules hack of Cyberpunk Red and graft on my own vehicular combat rules system. The end result is probably more balanced too. So, I guess say hello to Apocalypse Punk Redhack.

I might put out my vehicular combat system. Just so people can add it to their own games, regardless of what system they're using. It's designed for lots of jockeying for position and jumping from one car to another.
