So Renegade Nell is basically one of Orla's recurring daydreams on the bus to school, and Orla was always actually comfortably queer in her own skin, despite Claire being the Anxious Wee Disaster Lesbian, right? Right?

Guys I finished watching Renegade Nell last night and today I'm suddenly writing Miss Polly Honeycombe's article on a certain highwaywoman with eyes that shine like stars~

I love how Papa Trotter keeps telling Nell she can stay conditionally, but keeps changing the terms. First it's a night in the barn with the donkey, then she can stay indefinitely provided she wears a dress, and then we see her back to her normal clothes just before she leaves again. This is a man who cannot set boundaries for his daughters and I love it.

Renegade Nell is amazing. The showrunners had the balls to put the men in era appropriate massive wigs and cunty makeup

Polly is so enamored with Nell.
And Nell, she doesn't seem to be hating it.
She might be a bit confused, but not hating it.
And Roxy isn't exactly disapproving.
