Renjiro Emiya

The 18 year old son of Violent Violet & Shirou Emiya(via Crimson Moon route). Renjiro, also called ‘Ren’ by his mother, is a stubborn & headstrong, yet kind & sweet, young man. He has a brave & virtuous heart, unable to turn away from people who ask for his help, which makes him act quite like a ‘hero’ While many like to say he’s just like his father in the respective, he is actually more like his mother, in that he keeps his head firmly on his shoulders & is a realist. He usually, has a relaxed way of approaching things, & is friendly & open to others, but when he sets himself to something, he will see it through to the end. Ren appears to have a particular distaste for things like titles & labels, as he feels such things take other’s identities away, inflates their ego, & makes them care more for what’s expected of their title then what they themselves care about.

Abilities

Renjiro, as the offspring of a superhuman, naturally inherited his mother’s power, giving him the strength to lift & throw cars with quite some ease, as well as being able to take quite a great deal of punishment to his body. He also learned hand-to-hand combat from Violet, as well having been gifted one of Violet’s own god slaying sword & been taught by both parents to wield weapons, he is quite the threat in close quarters combat.

From his father, he inherited magical circuits, though like his father’s, they were rather weak & considered pathetic by other magi. Despite this, Renjiro asked his father to teach him what he knew, so Shirou introduced Ren to projection & reinforcement magecraft. While he can ‘trace’ other people weapons or other magical objects & recreate them for his own use, he can not ‘keep’ these weapons as Shirou can, so is force to ‘dematerialize’ them after a certain amount of time(usually after an hour). It’s for this reason, & the toil it takes on Ren’s body to preform tracing, he prefers sticking to his natural strength & the sword his mother gave him.

God Slaying Sword

Originally a pair of dual swords wielded by the God Hunter, Violent Violet, & were used to hunt down creatures of both divine & demonic origin; are supposedly made out of the same material the God Hunter’s famous armor was made from, making them almost indestructible. Violet eventually gives one sword to Shirou, & the other sword to Renjiro. These swords contained trace amount of the powers Violet once used against unnatural creatures, & are more then well suited to combat beings of such a non-human nature. They usually require 4-9 hits(depending on where & how deep the cut is) to take down a divine or demonic creature when they are not in Violet’s hands. These trace amount of power can be amplified by Renjiro’s reinforcement magecraft, allowing him to not only increase it’s size from a normal longsword to a greatsword, but allow him to cut down any divine, demonic or otherwise unnatural force with a single hit.

General appearance: Short ginger hair that his often slicked back, brown eyes with some greyness to them, freckles doting across all areas of his face & body, think eyebrows, pink lips, slightly tanned skin & a muscled figure

Personality: Stubborn & headstrong, yet kind & sweet. He has a brave & virtuous heart, unable to turn away from people who ask for his help, which makes him act quite like a 'hero', but does not have a complex of such, as he understands sometimes you can't save everyone & somethings are just out of your control. Many like to say he's just like his father, but with his head firmly on his shoulders like his mother.

Special talents: Abnormally strong & fast, he has the strength to lift a car, he's also a skilled fighter, in both weapon-based combat & hand-to-hand. He also has some skill in magecrafts, however, like his father, his magic circuits are rather pathetic so he learns through informal & unusual means. Like both his parents, he is a skilled cook & baker. Also quite mechanically inclined, & is usually the one to fix things around the house when they are broken.

Personal headcanon: Renjiro's(who was also simply called 'Ren' for short) name is to mean 'virtuous', which reflects the man he would grow up to be. Born between a non-traditional magi & a superhuman, he quite naturally acquired both of their abilities, but was seen as an abnormality, or a 'freak' among other magi from his lack of magical ability, but incredible strength; to the point where many mages do not actually see him as a mage or magus of any kind. To Ren, this is fine, as he himself doesn't consider himself a mage, disliking the label given the reputation magi have of being cruel monsters, most especially to their own kin. In fact, he dislikes labels entirely, believing slapping a label or title on someone robs them of their identity.
