Dieter, mein Schwager, ist einer dieser Männer, die alles reparieren können. Wirklich alles. Und das nötigt mir als Mensch mit zwei linken Händen schlicht Bewunderung ab. An Dieter also musste ich sofort denken, als ich auf Ronny Knaaks Website diesen 👇 wunderbaren Beitrag fand. Auch das Equipment von Legenden braucht manchmal eine Reparatur, zeigt er. Op zondag 8 oktober viert de gemeente Oss op De Elzenhoek de Dag van de Duurzaamheid. Dat doen ze in de vorm van een groene inspiratie- en doemarkt voor kinderen én ouders. Kinderen kunnen meedoen aan allerlei gratis activiteiten en workshops. Bij de verschillende kramen doe je inspiratie op om thuis praktisch aan de slag te gaan met duurzaamheid én koop je leuke duurzame producten. Om 13.45 uur is de officiële onthulling en overhandiging van de projecten van het jeugdcollege aan wethouder Kees van Geffen. De inspiratiemarkt begint om 12.00 uur en duurt tot 16.00 uur. Grote Afvalspel Doe mee tijdens deze duurzame middag met het Grote Afvalspel en workshops. Denk aan Trashanimals, herfst knutselen en Rinkelbom maken. Bak een broodje boven het vuur of ga aan de slag om je eigen bakje appelmoes te maken. Ontdek alles over wat de speel-o-theek doet en hoe de ruilwinkel werkt. Neus lekker rond bij de gezellige kraampjes met duurzame producten van o.a. Createlier Onss, warenhuis Strant en Lettertiepjes en laat je kapotte apparaat maken bij het repaircafe. Wil je weten hoe je met je hond afval opruimt? Neem dan een kijkje bij de coole Enjoycleanup-camper! Samen naar een duurzamere wereld vol inspiratie Bij de stand van ‘Oss schakelt door’ ontdek je alles over energiebesparing in de gemeente Oss en de subsidies die je hiervoor aan kunt vragen. Bij de kraam over groene tuinen, kun je inspiratie opdoen om je eigen tuin groener en klimaatbestendig maakt. Dit jaar kun je ook genieten van de theatershow van Batterij Henk en de geweldige steltenact Green Trees. Waterschap Aa en Maas is er met de klimaat-KATE en de watertafel. Deze tafel laat zien wat klimaatverandering doet en hoe je daar het beste mee om gaat.

Zu gestern wurde endlich der Klimaladen im Einkaufszentrum Berliner Freiheit bei uns in der schönen Vahr eröffnet. „Der Klimaladen Vahr motiviert zum Mitmachen. Durch ein niedrigschwelliges Angebot kann den Bewohner:innen in der Vahr ihre Selbstwirksamkeit im Hinblick auf Klimaschutz vermittelt werden. Die Angebote des Klimaladens sind für alle Altersgruppen konzipiert und ermöglichen nicht nur interkulturelles, sondern auch intergeneratives Lernen. Grundsätzliches und übergeordnetes Ziel dieses Projektes ist es deswegen, durch Empowerment und Selbstwirksamkeitserfahrungen Klimaschutz als festen Bestandteil in das Alltagserleben der Bewohner:innen zu integrieren. Der Klimaladen Vahr wird die Themenbereiche des Klimaschutzes in großer Bandbreite abbilden: - Reparieren und Verwerten - Urban Gardening - Ernährung und Konsum - Naturschutz - Abfallvermeidung - Mobilität - Energiesparen (…)“ Die Federführung des Klimaladens Vahr liegt beim Träger JUS - Jugendhilfe und Soziale Arbeit gGmbH - Angebote im Klimaladen erbringen neben der JUS auch die Kooperationspartner:innen @buergerzentrum_vahr, @nabubremen, @vahrbindung und natürlich unser schönes @fqz_neue_vahr_nord u.v.m. Unterstützt wird das Projekt durch das Quartiersmanagement Vahr des Amtes für Soziale Dienste Bremen, die GEWOBA, das Ortsamt Vahr sowie den Beirat Vahr. Auch diverse Netzwerkpartner:innen aus der Vahr sind eingebunden, u.a. It’s on tomorrow, Gawler’s repair cafe at the council building on High Street. It’s all about the, often forgotten ‘r’, repair. It kind of fits into the whole refuse, reuse, recycle mindset. There’ll be a few of us there trying out best to get you up and running again, whatever your problem. If we’re lucky, we can teach you how to repair your item so that you are more empowered in the future. I’ll be there with a collection of appropriate hammers. I reckon between us all we can fix anything but the American political system. Et voilà, on l’a fait ! Le premier Village Solidaire à St Germain du Pinel est né, prolongement de deux éditions de zones de gratuité. Fruit d’une réflexion partagée sur le territoire sur les manières de communiquer et d’interpeller le grand public sur les enjeux environnementaux.

Une belle édition, dans deux salles, l’une pour la Zone de gratuité l’autre pour les ateliers. Atelier fabrication de lessive à la cendre et Repair Café par les bénévoles de Sel’est Vitré, Jeux Coopératifs et interactions autour des principes de la Non-violence par le Mouvement pour une Alternative non-violente (MAN), Découverte de l’économie sociale et solidaire par Portes de Bretagne Solidaire, Fabrication citoyenne de capteurs de qualité de l’air par Vitré Tuvalu.

Le Café associatif et familial Bulle était également présent pour la deuxième année consécutive. Cécile et ses bénévoles nous ont régalé toute la journée de leurs goumandises sucrées et salées véganes et de leurs boissons chaudes.

Un grand merci à toutes et à tous pour leur accueil chaleureux et leurs sourires. Le Village n’a pas désempli de la journée, même sur l’heure du déjeuner ! Nous avons comptabilisé environ 140 personnes, près du double des années précédentes !

Un grand merci à la mairie de St Germain, toujours aux petits soins pour nous accueillir dans les meilleures conditions, et à Monsieur le Maire toujours présent pour nous rendre visite le jour J. Merci également au Crédit mutuel d’Argentré du Plessis pour l’impression des affiches. Merci à Ouest-France Vitré et au Journal de Vitré. Et enfin un grand grand merci à Partage Entraide Vitréais, venu en fin de journée récupérer les surplus de la zone de gratuité.

(2/3) “During my first time volunteering at an event, someone brought in a Kalimba, an African percussion instrument that has metal tines that you pluck to play a melody, with a missing tine. A few of us gathered around to figure out what we could do. I'm a musician too, and remembered they were traditionally made from pieces of scavenged fence wire. Since we were in a library in Toronto, I suggested using a coat hanger. One of the other volunteers hammered it flat and shaped it and he and I tuned to fit the instrument's harmonies. The client left with a smile and song!”
