Almost an entire year in the making, pragmaticNihilist’s solo album 'Repiton' is almost here! The album will be releasing on Friday, May 25th and it stands tall at 16 tracks with 1 bonus track for the road. I can't stress this enough when I say it is one of my favorite things that we have worked on so far.

The album cover you see above was done by the one, the only, @xamag-homestuck. Which, if you don't know, was a major collaborator on an astounding number of heavy hitter Homestuck flashes such as Cascade, Openbound, Vriskagram and Collide. She is also basically one of the biggest Homestuck fan artists of all time and I'm still not sure how we were able to get her here and to like our comic but hey, I won't complain. Please though, go ahead and give her your support, she continues to constantly deserve it.

You mentioned your fantrolls live on a planet separate from alternia or repiton, what's it like if you don't mind my asking? : o

hello!!! i don’t mind at all, though it’s unfortunately super underdeveloped!

i can share though that it’s sort of like a mix of alternia (hs) and repiton (ve). both stories and the way their worlds function inspire me a lot!

there’s similarities to both and specific things i basically took from them. for example, rainbow drinkers are still a thing, but they work a bit differently. it’s kinda hard to give specifics because i’m really just in a brainstorming stages with only a few certainties!

i’m in the same stage for how “sburb” (though, it won’t be called sburb) works in my fantrolls story because i DO want there to be a wild reality bending game!

Is there a good way to get really INTO vast error ?? I read it but still feel like I’m missing things is it just a matter of discovering fandom lore/jokes or are there deep dive character studies im missing out on?

Play Snowbound Blood! A lot of the secondary cast is given life in the game and at least where im standing is the reason why the community is invested in so many side characters with their own intricate backstories. Vast error is largely moved by fantrolls in that regard so theres quite a bit only the creators know & riff about that the public is still being filled on through the main story or game installments, but i find it particularly fun. Not only that, tho, i think the OC fan community is very active and that varies from person to person but keeps repiton alive. Ive never been to the VE discord but i know that exists and i hear its popular? I mostly trek on the comics and game tho

H I YES YOUR FANTROLL IS??? LITERALLY BEAUTIFUL AND THE BEST, MOST SEROTONIN-PRODUCING THING I'VE EVER SEEN??? I love her design and she would be such a cool character if she was in the comic,,, I'm really curious about her and want to know more! Does she have a story/personality/any cool facts that you'd like to share about her?

OMG SORRY I JUST SAW THIS...

She does actually have a good bit to her! Her name is Vaxlar Turkin, she’s part of a little fan descendants AU I have for fun! Knight of Time, 8.7 sweeps old. She’s a troll in a basically terminally fucked Repiton, sweeps after the time of the actual canon main 12.

She’s nowhere near as full of a laid back facade as her ancestor, but she holds the trait of basically feeling responsible for everyone. She's constantly checking in on almost everyone else at nearly all times, and gets paranoid if they don't respond for a while/at all. She knows what her ancestor has done and failed to do, and she refuses to repeat his mistakes. She blames herself for any and all bad things that happen to other group members, even if there's no way she ever could've stopped it. She cares deeply for those close to her, and would probably die or kill for them.

She pretty much is alone constantly, having mostly secluded herself in her ancestor's old hive since she was less than 7 sweeps old, after an event which traumatized and injured her moirail. Her lusus also died around that time, right in front of her. She basically spent the next sweep after that miserably trying to fix her ancestor's old equipment up on a near constant, obsessive basis, with very little success for the most part. Even now she still occasionally tries despite this.

During her time there, she found a lot of old information passed down for her, including a transcript of most of her ancestor's life, and a plea for her to look out for the descendants of those they were close to. All of this only further fueled her need to be responsible for everyone, and encouraged her to keep watch over them as best she could via messages, to an unhealthy extent.

(Also give @marshmellow-cactus plenty of credit for how great she looks I appreciate them much.)

Edit: i completely forgot that little meowbeast was there lmao. That fellow is Ralloy's lusus. The two pets are the possum, a creature Japhos took in randomly in a alleyway, and the leech that Japhos' old pink crush gave. The leech got lost in the hot spring near his hive when he used to live on Alternia.
