A compilation of Zero One related replies from around episode 42. These responses were super delayed because there’s the funk I had, and then there’s how I keep telling myself to post replies after finishing my thought posts - but I’m emotionally exhausted

Horobi also very pointedly did not kill the two Daycare HumaGear even though they were very much associating w/ humans, and his whole thing this ep was not wanting to kill HumaGear just bc they were helping humans. He also has no need to kill Izu bc he can transform and she can't he can just walk away/push past her and she'd bump her arm at most. Midori's death was at least partially due to the Ark, she is clearly established to take issue w/ HumaGear associating w/ humans AND people promopting reactions from Horobi. Not to sound callous bc I liked Midori aside from some of the things they had her say, but I think part of what happened there was that she was… Just unlucky she wasn't Jin. If that makes sense. I think it was the strength of that connection that shook Horobi out of just blindly obeying etc. bc that's what he'd been condition to do since creation, by humans and then the Ark, and then the Ark enforces w/ torture. Sorry, professional Horobi fan showing. I just… Really don't trust Tkhshi to not derail him to show how 'evil' he is or whatever bs.
1) True 2) It was a given at the time that Horobi also executed Midori because of the Ark (since he’s very dependent on it + it keeps a tight rein on him) 3) Takahashi just can’t be trusted with villains tbh

those detail don't matter. Its the kind of thing they might explore in a movie or hyper video or something but kids aren't going to care about connections like that so why include it?
I think it’s one thing for children to not care for details because they focus on what’s presented to them as opposed to the implications, and another to not inform the audience what a character is like

I'd like to formerly add Horobi to the list of characters who got murdered here. This is fucking character derailment to the max, bc what the hell. This is just bloody shock value all over it, and now they're saying that the show is going to 'end completely differently from any other Rider series' and I'm just looking at what we have and… I don't see that going well for anyone. I'm sorry for jumping on this I'm just. Angry Horobi fan right now. Like. Why/how does Takahashi manage to do good things like potential MBJR.fam angst in the WORST POSSIBLE WAY. Horobi completelu 180s from last ep? Izu just stands there and lets herself die? Jin just stands there? Aruto willingly fuses w/ a homicidal satellite??? Like, they could have made this whole thing work as a tragedy of misunderstanding, or something where Horobi was aiming at a dehanshined Aruto but Izu jumps in the way and the Ark takes over when his guard is down out of grief and rage, and then next week something similar happens to Jin and Horobi so BOTH Horobi and Aruto are on the wapath. That could have worked???? In a way??? This is just… Wtf
My mind is running from this is all a dream and everyone dies theories to something like - everyone becoming Humagears. I don’t even know at this point
I imagine all the Horobi fans aren’t very pleased with how things are going tbh. I do have thoughts as to why Izu stood there and didn’t move, but I’ll have to post them at a later date. As for Jin - he could’ve gotten her out of the way. I guess he thought Horobi wouldn’t land the final shot? Or Izu would dodge it herself? Even so, it’s fishy. And Aruto becoming Ark One is another thing I need to post about later since it’s so long ><
Basically, this is episodes 15 to 16 all over again - where we could’ve had Jin say “you don’t know what it’s like [to lose family]” and Aruto answers “yes, I do” - but we got something else...

When I saw video clip, my mind stopped. What the hell if they put very zero one ending at least don't put aruto through it before few final episodes?!
If they had done this about ten episodes before the finale, I’d be more forgiving of this move. But the last four episodes? It’s going to be hard to pull this off successfully without either attaching a movie as the true ending or botching something up

Fuwa and Yua are just being generally done dirty every second they're shown putting up w/ Gai… Honestly, the people who fared the best in this ep were the ones who weren't focused on… -_- Good luck w/ detoxing, I'm probably going to try rewatching Go-Onger or something to do the same. DX
I might as well file in an application for ownership of the characters to save them from further trouble...
Hope your detoxing went well. Mine was a combination of enjoying Ultraman (as you could tell by my posts at the time) and feeling...well.

On one point, it IS in Auto's hand to end the Ark. He IS the only one that can stop it. This is probably a case of "your greatest enemy is yourself", in a sense that Aruto battles in himself the evil that lurks because of his grief. And if he manages to rise above his thoughts of revenge, he probably can beat the Ark :)
That’s true, and while I’m still confused about how things turned out, the only thing I have confidence in is Aruto’s status as the main character (meaning he won’t be permanently damaged, physically or mentally, and he still has some chance at defeating the Ark)

*gives you virtual hugs* The next few episodes will hurt a loooot for us, it seems
This is the future, last week I saw episode 43 and it hurt so much that I couldn’t even talk about it at length *sobs into my hands*

I’m in agony. I will say that Ultraman X is very wholesome and healing. Dekaranger too, imo.
Ultraman X was a nice little show, and Dekaranger is going well for the most part. But it’s like Sundays sap all the energy 25~48 episodes gave me ><

Was he crying?
Apparently he was, but I can’t remember where I read that
