gee whiz, this guy is so full of himself. that had been his first impression of caesar zeppeli, && he found that it hadn’t really changed all that much since then — except maybe now he was beginning to think the blond was a real sadist. who else would call their rival late at night just to wish them ( curse them ?? ) a tragic end ?? either way, it didn’t faze him; joseph joestar pops open a fresh bottle of soda, his green eyes rolling in their sockets as he makes way back towards the living room, a cheesy slasher flick audibly flashing on the screen. he didn’t care much for the gore, or even for the killings themselves, but what he did find interesting was guessing who the KILLER was, or if it wasn’t a mystery, WHERE the killer was. his eyes fixate on the screen for a moment, a soft grimace settling along his lips. oh, god, don’t tell me.... they haven’t figured out the serial killer is the step-brother ?? c’mon !! he left all the clues in the library scene !!

       joseph yawns loudly into the phone receiver, more just to annoy caesar than anything before smacking his lips after a hit off his soda bottle, joestar resting on his couch && putting his feet up; he’d be on the phone for a while, after all. he shoves a hand into the bag of chips he’d left earlier && replies at last, not yet chewing on the cheesy puffs, ❝ oh, c’mon, that’s just a dumb urban legend. they’ve been talking about a serial killer for years. last year it was killer clowns !! ❞ joseph pops a puff into his mouth && chews thoughtfully, joestar leaning back against the cushions just as the FINAL GIRL enters the frame, seemingly the last person in the house left alive. uh-uh. don’t waste your time looking for the others. get out of the house before the killer comes back.

❝ why ❞ , his voice lowers into a teasing snicker, the brunet amused all at once at the prospect of “torturing” caesar. ❝ are you scared ?? do you need me to check your closet && tuck you in, caesarino ?? ❞ he bursts out in roaring guffaws, jostling a few puffs out of the chip bag in the process, the pieces scattering across the floor with a noisy crinkling of the package. joseph couldn’t care less however; his focus was entirely on zeppeli, well, more on his irritation. admittedly, joseph wouldn’t have wanted to spend his evening doing anything else than bothering the poor bastard !! but, clearly caesar had something on his mind, whether it was simple curiosity, or morbid obsession, he couldn’t say.

     almost daily, or at least, whenever he writes down in his diary since it’s the only way he has of expressing his thoughts & feelings without making himself be vulnerable in front of others. even in his writing, one may notice how scattered his thoughts can be, switching from past to present, making abrupt pauses due to feeling unwell or no longer in the mood to continue. it’s his way to narrate his life & do some reflection. sometimes, it may take days for him to change his mind or see where he went wrong.

  “YOU look like shit.” The cowboy snaps back, pride wounded just slightly at the criticism. “Ladies LOVE the bruised and battered look, shows that ya’ can handle yerself in a scrap. You wouldn’t know nothing about that though. From what I know, you’re always gettin’ your ass kicked anyway.”

      He spits to the side {eloquent as always}. MAYBE he’s being a bit more snappy than he needs to be, but Hol Horse doesn’t care. “Still look better than your baguette eatin’ ass.”

Did... Anasui look cold? He had been surprised when he saw Jolyne holding out a coat to him, or maybe he had just been imagining it. Of course maybe she just wanted him to hold it for her, but Anasui would like to think that it was being offered to him. In that moment he couldn’t help but bring the coat closer up towards his face so that he could nuzzle against it. He was holding her coat so delicately ; it was very special after all since it belonged to her of all people. He felt euphoric catching a whiff of her scent... Maybe he could “forget” to give it back to her.

HOW DO YOU BEST LIKE TO BE LOVED ?

‘touch me with tender truth’

you crave being known and held. you just want the warmth and pressure of another body against your own. sometimes, late at night when you're alone in your bed, your skin aches with the lack of touch. you've tried touching yourself, and it isn't the same.

one time someone gripped your shoulder and squeezed it in passing, and you thought about it for weeks after - the ghost pressure of their hand lingering. don't you deserve it? consistent physical love and caring? i think so, i think you do. but i also have to ask - do you fear it even as you want? after all, if you get it then it might also be taken away. 

i hope that if you fear it, you push through past that fear. that you ask for the touch you desire and deserve. i hope that you get touched with love and kindness, wrapped up in warm arms and rocked from side to side until the tension and pain falls away layer by layer and only you are left.

 ★   you want to be thought of with intent, for someone to sit down and want to share their thoughts with you specifically. and their thoughts about you, even more. for someone to Know you, or at least desire the knowledge. for them to write it out in a way that you can read as quickly or slowly as you desire. that you can reread again and again, or lock in a box and never read after that first quick consumption. you crave that tangibility. and the small moments that lead up to the letter being in your hand. to be told, 'it's in the mail' and then to have the simple joy of checking the mailbox to see if it has come today. to hold the envelope and feel the love within. there is a purpose of intent within physically written words, and it patches the parts of you that feel like you aren't worth thinking about. my darling, know that you are. you are worth intentional thought and cursive letters and an envelope sealed with a kiss.
