I’m just making Horror be 50% jacket. There is so much fluff padding in there. I’m not that good at drawing him like this yet, but I want you all to see my vision. Horror Sans whose mass is mostly jacket. He doesn’t need it, it just makes him look bigger, and probably adds like +2 DEF. Maybe he does need that, actually.

Anyways, I’d think that Horror would remind Dust of Fell. And and what if Dust thought of Fell as a sort of big brother figure. And and and and and-listen, I personally am not one for “Nightmare gang family” or whatever, but these two-these two. Yes. One-sided brothership or whatever I feel like would be funny

Something New!Papyrus is searching for his brother after he disappeared without a trace, there one day, gone the next. Maybe someone could help him in his search? Although, perhaps this human isn’t the best partner to have…but Papyrus is determined.

I feel crazy for this, but what if the Dusttale Player and Something New Papyrus traversed the multiverse in search of their Sanses? The Player just wants to go back to their AU with Mur so everything can go back to “normal” again, but Paps just wants his brother back cause misses him and is worried :(

Now, why does the Dusttale Player of all people want to do this? Well, they have some awareness of the state of the multiverse, and they know that both Killer and Murder are Nightmare’s servants. To them, it seems like Killer is fiercely loyal to Nightmare, and making sure he’s distracted will make it easier to get to Murder. But the Player only really knows surface level knowledge of all the AUs…

Also. Did not look at the Something New comic while drawing Paps, I just drew him based on his sprites lol. I love that he has a little cape<3

edit: forgot to add the the ref that he can retract his tentacles into the goop. He can do that. He can also just appear like a normal, non goopy Sans, but he doesn’t want to. Shapeshifting ftw

Dreamtale and Nightmare by JokuBlog

I wanted him to look like a sort of biblical saint/angel, you know those old paintings where they have those sick halos drawn like that. Dream also has one too, his just looks like the sun. Dream prefers to have his crown in it’s circlet form, while Nightmare prefers the halo.

Nightmare’s halo is generally more useful than Dream’s is, since telling the phase of the moon is very useful when you cannot see it and can’t keep track of time that way. That’s why Sci likes having it, since he’s like Past!Classic Sans, he’s still stuck in the Underground. The villagers didn’t really care for his crown though, since they could see the moon with their own eyes. Also Passive’s(I hate calling him that tbh, but it’s clearer this way) crown didn’t look exactly that same as Nightmare’s color wise. It was purple.

NM also enjoys being more emotionally violent than physically violent, and also prefers to not kill people. Doesn’t mean he doesn’t do any of that, but he much rather attack the mind and not the body.

NM is on the AroAce spectrum. And also NM has a crush on Ccino. He hates that he does and Passive makes fun of him for that. Passive likes to bully NM a lot when he doesn’t have…violent ideas of his own to share with NM. NM and Passive get along better and also worse than you might think. It’s complicated.

A Horrortale Aliza design :) I need to make my refs less cluttered…oh well

Okay so additional notes I couldn’t cram into the page:

Killer made her new clothes, under the directions of Nightmare(who also made him add that moon). Aliza hates Nightmare with a passion, btw, at first. The more she sees him(which is rarely) the more she starts to pity him.

And also since Aliza call Horror “Dad” and such for the funnies, she also calls HT!Paps “Uncle” occasionally, not on purpose most of the time. Paps is very aware of that xD. But she always calls Mur “Uncle,” to annoy Horror, and Killer “Aunt” because when she tried to call him Uncle at first, he shut that down pretty quickly. Then she called him Aunt, and Killer considered on whether or not he should shoot that down as well, leading to Aliza to come up with more little nicknames for him, or just accept whatever Aliza does and not care. He chose to not care. And perhaps surprisingly, Aliza doesn’t call Nightmare “Grandpa.” She is very polite with him, calling him “Sir” or “Mister,” maybe even “My Lord” if she’s feeling nice. Nightmare eats this shit up.

Uhhh some actual design notes now:

The under of her hair is the same as her soul color, because I like that. It’s just what happens to humans who fall underground in my multiverse lol. Her hair has also grown out a bit over the year, and Farmtale!Frisk likes to style it for her. The Farmtale Gang(Frisk, Chara, and Asriel) like to help and play with her a bunch. They too help her tie her shoes.

Aliza’s eyes are…strange? In Horrortale her eyes are a bit of a void? Like in the comic. Outside of Horrortale, her eyes look more normal. Horrortale does things to people.

Dreamtale and the Nightmares by Joku-Blog

I’ve been thinking about doing a part 2 to this with the next lines. Who knows if I’ll do. God I love this song.

Also, the Dreamtale twins have halos instead of their typical crowns. They still call them crowns tho, weirdos. Passive’s crown covers his eye, and acts like one, being pretty emotive. Corrupted’s crown isn’t emotive, it matches the current phase of the moon wherever he is.

Okay so I was looking up info about Nightmare and Dreamtale in general ngl, and apparently Corrupted!Nightmare was originally the human who killed Nim, who then somehow possessed one of the apples in the tree????? Which like, that’s so weird, but also it has a LOT of potential.

Okay, so disregarding Dreamtale canon, let’s have Dreamtale be an actual Undertale AU and not like. A world outside of the Undertale Multiverse(joku why did you that(I mean I get it but also. no)). It can still be outside of the Multiverse in the sense that the Antivoid is outside of the timelines(just. just pretend this how the Antivoid has always worked because then that explains how Core!Frisk couldn’t sense Error since they see everything across the timelines-I need to stop). So we can have the human who killed Nim be like the “Frisk” equivalent of that AU, giving him just a bit more sense of purpose. Because he was just some “random human” or whatnot…I dunno, I don’t know where I’m going with that.

Listen, my point is to have the Corruption that took over Nightmare’s body be his universe’s Frisk, because I find that to be interesting.

Anyways, with that established, what if somebody found that out? I’d imagine that would not go down well with anybody. I can’t imagine the drama between Corrupted and his gang. The drama between Corrupted and Dream. Ough

This shit. This. Shit. I started this right after the first drawing I did of Peer and SN!Paps. Way before I even started calling Peer, Peer. It’s all SN!Papy’s fault, I couldn’t figure out a good enough design(even now…well, I like it but meh) for MONTHS. I still haven’t even came up with a name for this Paps. Ah. Maybe “Looker,” since he’s looking for Killer…I’m an indecisive fuck

Anyways, UnderRouge is this little gang of goobers who travel the multiverse, with Peer and [NAME UNDECIDED] as the leaders. They both want their Sanses back, buuttttt it’s not like they can just waltz up to Nightmare’s castle and nab them. So that’s why they created a team to work on defeating Nightmare…that was the original plan, anyhow. Shenanigans happen that delay their plans, like Peer getting character development to become a better person. The horror. Oh, and they get a few tagalongs along the way that I haven’t decided on who yet, but they get tagalongs. Which means they get more gang members.

Something silly I had thought about. Good(?) Parent(??) Error. He will prove to his son(???) that he can draw good, actually. Why do I always post when tired

Working on a Sans OC(basically??). He’s called Key, some in universe call him G!Sci, he’s basically a part of Sans that fell into Gaster’s creation with him. If you recognize that white soul, you’ll see that he’s connected to Aftertale. Specifically, he’s connected to the Aftertale Error was from. I’ll elaborate under the cut

After(heh) Geno suddenly went missing, After!Sans tried to go look for him. So he went looking towards the Void, and pulled…something out. Key. A missing part of him he didn’t know he was missing in the first place.

Unfortunately, pulling Key out of the Void was not the best thing to this already kinda fucked and slightly unstable timeline.

Long story short, the world kind of ended. The timeline didn’t get completely erased into an empty one, but it definitely wasn’t “Aftertale” anymore. Key was basically the only one who remained in the empty world, managing to capture the souls of Frisk and Sans and us holding onto them.

He stays in New Home, in the Underground, the place where Sans and his family lived before…the incident. It’s completely empty, save for him and the two souls. All he knows is that he wants to be whole again, but he can’t do that without retrieving Geno’s part of the soul. After he’s whole, he’s almost certain that he’ll be able to use Frisk’s soul to Reset, to make things as they should be. He’s also trying to pull the others, like Gaster, out of the Void, but so far he’s been unsuccessful.

However. One day, someone from outside of his universe stumbles through. They have this key that when used on certain doors, can open a portal to other universes. Somehow, the key brought that person here, to the broken Aftertale.

Then more people show up. And more. All because of these keys. Naturally, Key takes an interest in this. He finds a key of his own, but doesn’t really want to leave. It feels wrong. But with so many people coming to him, each with unique little souls and worlds, why not…experiment a bit? With their consent, of course. Maybe it could help him with his own soul issues.

Somehow, this ends up with Key becoming the leader of the Skeleton Keys, a group dead set on helping protect the multiverse in their own little ways. Key could care less. He just wants to be whole again, but the more resources he has to find his missing part? The better.

He has no clue that Error is his missing part…until he actually meets him of course. Even with his data being so corrupted, Key can tell that Error is the Geno he was looking for.

Luckily, Error has no idea about the Skeleton Keys. They’re a very underground(heh) group. The moment he does, however…oh boy.

Thinking about like. Post-corruption but pre-Dream waking up Nightmare. Like. 500 years. That’s SUCH a long time.

I actually think that Nightmare, after expanding his ✨negativity✨ quite a bit, would cool down and kinda be…not exactly a nice person, but definitely more chill than he would be after Dream wakes up.

After Dream wakes up and is out of his stone prison, his soul, the final golden apple, is ripe for the taking. And Nightmare obsesses over that. He doesn’t care about killing Dream, he cares about getting that apple, which will definitely kill Dream but that’s not the what Mare cares about.

So, before all of that, what would Nightmare like. Do? Probably just be a multiversal king, honestly. Not that King Multiverse guy. So Mare would likely recruit some guys from across the multiverse to help him, like he does after Dream wakes up. That’s probably where he got the idea to do so, in my version of events.

Nightmare would pick useful, but likely miserable people to aid him in like. Doing taxes. Settling dangerous disputes in other AUs. Helping with infrastructure. Generally just servants-or, god forbid if he gets too attached, coworkers-to help him with stuff he either a) doesn’t want to do by himself, or b) are better handled by someone that is not Nightmare. Things are mose A, but he likes to convince his subordinates that it’s B. Trust is important(it’s less important than getting that apple tho, for future reference)!

But yeah, idk. Maybe Nightmare was on his way to becoming an actual, honestly good(or just like. somewhat decent) person before he got obsessed with the apple. I like things being a bit tragic, that way.

I really love Gradient but I don’t know if I wanna do the whole combo kids thing(or even really ship kids haha) in my UTMultiverse…so what if I just have him come from another multiverse. Mmm, Gradient I will die for you.

Anyhow, now I gotta think about why Gradient hopped multiverses to get into this one.

What happened to him? Does his multiverse even still exist? What. What does he do, actually? Where does he live-the Omega Timeline? Core would obviously be able to tell immediately that’s he’s not from this multiverse…oh god. Oh god I have yet another fic idea. Fuck.
