It’s incredible how much better i feel now that I’m not living in a psychologically abusive environment. Like I’m still adjusting my drinking and eating schedule so I’m struggling a bit with headaches and feeling hungry while I get into a new routine but it’s not???? Like???? An issue??? If I was at home right now I would be bed bound and depressed and anxious from a minor headache. But right now I’m just. Living. It’s awesome. I don’t feel bad about things either. Incredible what living without an abusive force fucking hanging over my head 24/7 is like.

hell day today and i'm only two hours into my EIGHT HOUR SHIFT
#9 to 5 by dolly parton starts playing in the background..#literally had to open up shop alone 2day and also was entirely alone for the first 45 min. of my shift so that was already a negative start#to the day + i heard that i can't have my break later than two thirty which is very bad for me bc 1) there'll be a lot of ppl all around me#when i'm eating which i already dislike and 2) like 85% of ppl taking their break around that time are VERY noisy eaters so even worse and#then 3) it'll be really loud in the room as well bc everyone's talking loudly and eating and the cutlery's clanging against plates and such#and also some ppl have actual full-blown arguments with each other in the break room bc half the ppl here hate each other's guts so more#negatives to the day and then on top of that we've had sooooo many annoying customers already today who r just. intent on making u stressed#out and upset and literally will tell u to your face to 'do your job better' like bro...i can easily tell you haven't worked in retail....#also someone hung their clothes on the rack outside the fitting rooms which is where u hang ur clothes when you're DONE fitting them & don'#want them bc they don't fit or don't sit right or u just don't rlly like them after all so if clothes are hanging there we the ppl working#there WILL take them and hang them back in their original places what did u expect to happen?? anyway someone hung the clothes they had#tried on already and did want there and i reached out to take them bc like. that's what we do here..we hang the clothes on the 'discard#rack' back in the store bc else the rack gets stuffed and the woman literally grabbed my arm and said 'those are mine what do u think you'r#doing' LIKE?????? GIRL THE RACK'S THERE FOR A REASONNNN ofc i'm going to assume u don't want them anymore if they're hanging there that's#why it's called the DISCARD rack....also how am i to know those specific clothes are yours HONESTLYYYYYY STFU AND GET OFF ME#ALSO some dude was like (to his child but like. looking at me while he said it.) 'this guy needs a haircut doesn't he' bc my hair is kinda#long and apparently i passed today. LIKE 1st of all kind of a rude thing to say to a stranger innit 2nd of all setting a great example to#your child there just casually commenting on other ppl's looks like that👍 3rd of all jokes on you you wouldn't consider me a guy if#you Knew most likely. thanks for that little zing of glee much obliged <3 but also man just piss off will you. 4th of all my hair isn't eve#that long....like the ends of it are just shy of my shoulders wdym LONG if u knew the long-haired guys i know you'd faint.#anyway. great start of the day. i still have six more hours to go 🥴#ALSO no surprise this always happens but my legs already hurt SOOOOOOOO BADDDDDD :(((((((((((#r.txt

thinking abt quitting my job 🤗
#using my holy week days off to pause and reflect (draft my resignation letter and practice what to say to my supervisor)#i'm desperate enough to consider working at a bpo but...foreign company = no long breaks for holy week local fiestas and all souls day(s)..#i'd be so mad if i had to go to work while everyone else is taking several days off in march and november GFKDGSJDG#skl.txt#but yeah it's Bad i'm absolutely not fit for the business side of my job (that wasnt in my job description we are just so understaffed that#i have to do a bunch of other things i didnt sign up for and have no interest in doing for much longer)#also like. i interned at a hospital pharmacy serving mostly ER patients so ive got exp w high pressure and being yelled at by people#but there were enough employees and interns back then#the understaffing here is so bad that it's overwhelming me. retail workers r gods strongest soldiers bc i cant do this anymore#isang buwan na lang bounce na'ko bc a nearby hospital has a job opening and i'm gonna check it out

i think it's sooooo funny that target coworkers are kinda trying to put the moves on me now that ive been around long enough to be known bc A) im fake as fuck at work as a matter of course and B) im not even out there so it's like. you are lusting after a completely different fabricated person. this girl you want is behind two different layers of not existing

Oh my god I’ve been in my grandparent’s house for 18 hours and I’ve already had two nervous breakdowns and exchanged countless stressed looks with my siblings I don’t leave here until Friday morning someone help me
#my grandparents are...#how to explain...#my mother dedicated her entire life to being nothing like her parents.#My grandfather isn't that bad these days; he's chilled out a bit.#My grandmother on the other hand...#we can do no right in her eyes#my grandparents have two children; my mother and my uncle; my mother is the older one#and they are not at all subtle about favoring my uncle and his family#he has the white picket fence life with a lovely wife and two lovely daughters and a dog a cat and two hamsters#and my mother has two failed marriages and four kids who don't fit into their picturesque worldview at all#and it's so painfully clear whenever we see them that they view us as an extension of her- a disappointment who can only make mistakes#and it gets so difficult pretending to be patient with them#and pretending like I don't resent them for everything they've done to my mother#there's a reason my mother left as soon as she could#and I do love my cousins and my aunt and uncle#I just have no idea how to relate to them#they are fully decorated girl scouts who have been on sports teams and in dance classes for their entire lives#my uncle is the manager of a bed bath and beyond location#my aunt is an air force vet who's now a dedicated PTA mom and active member of her church#and my mom was a chaplain; then was unemployed for about six years; and now works in retail#and a side effect of our mother raising us to follow our passions and be who we want to be means that our grandparents don't understand us#because they can't understand how much better off we are for having a safe loving home no matter how outlandish our lives or goals are#anyway#four days.#I can walk on eggshells for four days.#they're paying my tuition.#I can do my best to make my mom look good to them#but the entire situation makes me so so angry.#I hate how small she feels in here.#I hate how I feel like I have to be bigger and more rebellious to take the stares off of her

#I hate working Saturdays :/#but the girl who worked here quit without two weeks so i had to take up her shifts already on the schedule#people I feel like are always much ruder on the weekends#like I don’t get yelled at even a fraction of all days I work in a week combined than I do in one shift in a saturday#the fun of retail :/#last time I worked a Saturday I got clothes and hangers thrown at me <43#and then my manager yelled at me because our go back racks were to full even though I called him 5 times in that hour to get someone#to run them (I’m not allowed to run my own racks in the fitting room because I can’t leave the fitting room unattended) and when I pointed#that out to him he just got even more mad smh

I am a chronically difficult shopper, so imagine my surprise and amazement when I 1 got contacts, 2 got two pairs of shoes (this is big i hate shoe shopping and stores never have my size), and 3 the underwear i ordered online came in all in the same day! (also went to the grocery store and bought food! this is big because my anxiety always acts up in grocery stores!)
