For some time, I always succeeded at illustrating my red cat Grimm 🧡and failed at it when my black cat Hermès served as a model 🖤. . Since I started cross hatching, I was getting closer and closer until today’s illustration seems to capture well his fur and expression. 😄 . I usually do these with fountain pens🖋, but when I caught him in this sweet pose, I was taking notes on my tea on Vietnamese Mulberry paper that only seems compatible with my @Retro1951 Buzz 🐝 and its Easy Flow 9000 refill. 🖊 . On a cooler rainy day, this vintage Se Zhong from the year 2000 makes for the perfect start. Found at @the.ritoires in June, this little marvel has lovely mineral notes of terracotta, chocolate, walnuts and oolong plums.☕️ . Whenever I try new teas at home, I try to take notes in my artisanal Vietnamese notebook... and the only pen that will do justice to this mulberry paper is my @Retro1951 Buzz 🐝 .
