Another project for tonight! Those of you with NAs might know of this catastrophe; those headlamp lid and bucket fasteners! From the first photo, you can see how it seized and become a rod rather than the screw it was born to be... I guess you could say, it got 'screwed' :D *hides under something tomato resistant!* Screwy jests aside (hah! I'm on a roll!), I'm tapping the holes to 6x1.0mm from the OE 5x1.0mm that way I have fresh metal to work with. Then I went to Menards and purchased 8 6x16mm sockethead cap machine screws (part# 81671 or UPC# 7-38287 81671-6). question about my retrofitsource hid lights?

is this normal? there are two small blobs of light above the cut-off for the light output. i never really noticed it before tonight but did when i was picking up dinner earlier parked near a wall. it's a pair of h11 morimoto 35w 5500k hid bulbs with ballasts & relays but stock projectors. is it the projector that is causing this? i do notice that when i travel down a highway my car seems to be illuminating overhead signs earlier & for longer length of time than other cars around me. just want to know if this is normal or not..?
