Announcing: Persona Fandom New Year's Community Prompts!

What is this?

A Community Prompt Exchange is when people anonymously submit prompts to a pool and then people can anonymously fill them. It's a less stressful version of a gift exchange, you don't have to do anything, and if your prompt really vibes with someone, you might get to see it brought to life!

How Do I Participate?

First, you can submit prompts HERE

Guidelines for prompts are in the form.

Then, when the prompts are opened, you can submit your work to an AO3 collection, and works will be posted anonymously starting January 1st!

Can I submit multiple prompts?

Yes! It's encouraged! Plus, it's anonymous, I wouldn't even know if you did that.

I want to draw a prompt, can I participate?

Yes! I will post a guide for posting art to AO3, or you can save it and post on January 1st if you'd prefer to do it on Tumblr

Can I cross-post to Tumblr

Yes, but please refrain from doing so until authors are revealed

What is the timeline?

(Dates all in EST)

December 2nd-December 8th: Prompt submissions open

December 10th: Prompts are posted

December 17th: AO3 collection opens

December 30th: AO3 collection closes

January 1st onward: Fics are made public, after all fics are posted authors, will be revealed.

Can I write a prompt some time after the event ends?

Yes, you just can't put it in the collection.

The drop when it transitions from the pre-fight ambience to the theme itself is immaculate. The remake's soundtrack is pretty good but it doesn't have this so it could never truly compare.

From one SEGA franchise to another, today’s song comes from the surprisingly little known first installment of the Persona series. During the beginning of the game, you and your friends start playing a game until a ghost girl appears and lightning strikes out of nowhere. Suddenly you have a dream of a man who talks about the power of Personas. You wake up at the nurse’s office with your teacher telling you to go to Mikage Hospital. You go there to meet up with an sick friend until she suddenly faints. You check out the hospital to find out until suddenly zombies invade the halls. What’s going on? Where do they come from? And why you and your friends suddenly can summon Personas? This is creepy…

I never played the first Persona game (had to research about the scenario of this game using @joshscorcher ‘s Top 15 Distutbing Non-Horror Games last year) but whether you played the game or not, you would agree this song is really scary. This song may be short but Jesus, it’s disturbing. The slow piano gives off an unsettling vibe of what’s happening at the hospital. The scary part isn’t the piano but the sounds of people screaming like the zombies are out to eat them. It really makes the song sound more scarier than usual, adding to the tension. Not to mention that the random laughing and woos like the zombies are enjoying this, which is layers of messed up. The most scariest thing about this is that this is from a K-A (Kids to Adults) Rated game, which is the E-Rating at the time before it existed. Yes, the first Persona game is a E-Rated game. To quote the Nostalgia Critic, you know… FOR KIDS. XD While the PSP remake of this song does still sound creepy, without the screams, it doesn’t hit the same notes as the the original PS1 version. Man, this song would pretty much bring nightmares to anyone. That’s how scary it is. 🎃

…i heard about a badass player you can score but ya gotta make the right choices in order to get him n i was informed that the USA 🇺🇸 version does not have the snow Queen quest or is it ice queen…greatly appreciate the help

Persona 1: Dance Night Revelations has come forth, with new, totally official art that was definitely drawn by Soejima and definitely isn't the result of me rubbing my index finger raw on my fucking phone screen for a month straight.

In all seriousness, this was fun. Might do it for Persona 2 after I play the duology.
