Not necessarily! Conversations don’t always have to end when they end. They can be put in a pause. Put a pin on them, as they say. Or maybe it’s that you don’t have the need for closure, unlike like every inmate in Arkham Asylum seems to have? Criminal minds tend to seek different things, and in one way or another the core reason for what they do is exactly that concept.

I left Arkham, obviously. A place such as that can’t contain a genius like me for too long. It’s even too boring to predict, to some degree: guards’ schedules, and such. They don’t pose too big of a challenge, which is embarrassing and says a lot about the system or moreso the general IQ of the population in Gotham.

@reviviscencegruiform i don't know you but if you're anything like our crane, you're probably very tall. i gave you needles on the hands like he has sometimes, and i don't know if you wear hay or not as a wig either but i felt like leaving you hairless under the hat would look weird so. you're wearing a poncho.

Something  he's  prone  to  do.  This  time  it  was  about  their  work  though,  or  at  very  least  it  was  tangential  of  it,  a  stream  of  consciousness  predicting  chemical  reactions,  variables  taken  into  account  down  to  the decimal, nothing but nonsense to anyone but the two.  And  he  was  standing  quite  close,  nearly  toe  to  toe  with  them,  only  far  enough  part  so  his  hat  brim  didn't  poke  into  their  chest.  And  he  always  had  to  crane  back  his  head  all  the  way  to  look  up  into  their  face,  smiling  with  his  jittery  blue  eyes  as  he  talked,  as  he  did  so  love  talking  to  them  about  these  things.  And  when  he  tossed  his  head  up  to  look  to  them...  a  lock  of  his  mousy  brown  hair  fell  all  the  way  across  from  one  side  of  the  nose  to  the  other.

Naturally,  he  paid  it  no  mind.  Not  until  he  noticed  their  hand  moving  to  their  face.  And  very  slowly  he  quieted  his  hypotheticals  as  he  felt  them  brush  against  his  face  ever  slightly  and  press  the  hair  back  between  his  hat  and  his  pinkened  ears.    He  fiddles  with  his  hands  and  scrunches  inwards,  hiding  his  face  once  more  beneath  his  hat  brim  from  the  much  taller  other,  and  mutters  something  very,  very  quiet.

"  ...  W-what  was  I...  saying?  "
