Ribbit for a frog is such a childish name... And then I think: What if they were a child? What if it was Jax's younger brother who he agreed to play the "very childish" game with. And so that's why they're both 1920's style cartoon animals (Like Kinger and Queenie who entered together were both chess pieces.). the two, being brothers were inseparable. And then ribbit abstracted. Maybe because of Jax, but even if he had nothing to do with it: He still let his kid brother die... Like...

I think Jax hates kaufmo

ok so gooseworx said a character named ribbit abstracted before kaufmo

you can see him run right past kaufmo door and straight too this frog character door I think this frog is ribbit and you can see reach for the door i’m pretty sure they might have been friends I don’t think Jax cared about kaufmo which explains why he ran past his door

I also think that Pomni reminds Jax a bit of ribbit maybe that’s why he’s getting close to her she reminds him of his friend we don’t know what ribbit personality was maybe it was similar to Pomni and they both have cheek markings

at kaufmo funeral Jax gets upset and leaves and doesn’t go to funeral I think he was upset that kaufmo replaced ribbit and now that he’s gone, he really doesn’t have anything

but those are my thoughts I would love to hear some other opinions as well
