So instead of really doing lists or anything like that I’m just gonna post my favorite edits and explain a little further into why I love it, whether it’s just edit itself or the characters as well. Watching edits has provided me a great comfort in my life so I just seek to give a little recognition to these artists and also show you all what helps me through what I am feeling.

I love this edit because of the couples in it, Medici couples hit different, and because of just how incredibly sad and lovely this edit is. The tragedy of all of these loves is so amazingly shown in this but is still beautiful in it’s own way.

Cosimo regretted having given it to her, burned his soul with it. He longed for that woman, the same one who had destroyed all his hopes, his previous state, his chosen and real life. His works of art, his relationship with Bianca, his lover ... everything he really was. Contessina had also come by force, to take everything from him. But still he wanted her that day. Years later he would know. He would know the force of true desire, of the lust he had felt for his own fiancée that first day. And he hated himself for that.

Would anyone with a talent for writing be interested in writing a fusion of Rob/Roslin and Cosimo/Contessina? I’m not entirely sure what that would look like; maybe Robb bringing Jeyne North and humiliating Roslin and her then making him fall in love with her like Contessina did, or maybe something else. That’s about as far as my thoughts got since Cosimo/Contessina are essentially Robb/Roslin with all the delicious angst and the right father in law to boot!!
