These works look at the urban environment in which Richard lives. Taking the textures and patterns found with the geometry of the structures, he creates beautiful abstract compositions. Capturing the light and shadows as it moves across both man-made and natural forms.

The works are created digitally, using photography and digital paint techniques

Richard blends both the dynamism and energy of the futurists with the geometry of the suprematistm movement in this series.

This work is from a series of paintings entitled 'The silence between us', which looks at the spirituality in Silence and through deep meditation you feel the bliss of balance and completion on a very high level. The work is minimal in appearance, consisting of subtle textures and a muted composition.
