From riolis cross stitch kit. It’s my first time stitching with wool and it feels so good! The extra golden necklace and bell really lighten up the embroidery.

Started doing cross stitch in my spare time for fun and I finally almost finished my first project which is a Riolis kit of foxes (of course) and I decided to use a different color for the backstitch which has left me running out of the color before I'm done. Sure, I will just get more of the color....

Alas, I have discovered this particular brand requires you to directly contact them and they will give the details to another shop for you to buy from cuz they do not give out the color codes due to counterfitting. Plus it is a different Floss material so just matching to a different Floss type will not work. 😭 It is very much a small issue, but I was excited to finish it.

Today , I woke still unsure as to what happened.

I watch Port Adelaide (AFL) play horrendous football against a bottom struggling team for over 3 qaurters of football to the point it was embarrasing to watch even from the stands,(I think the kids behind was legit crying) they manged to turn up 3 quarters late and be 11 points down with 33 seconds to go. Somehow, they scored two goals in 30 seconds. Leading the game for the first time and escape with a 1 point win.

They were 41 points down and led for excatly 2 seconds of the game. That being the last 2 seconds of the game. I think I just witnessed a legit robbery. Hawthron should have headed straight to the police station to make a report.

Even the commentators calling a win for Hawthorn at 40 seconds left as it wasn't really possible to do 2 goals in 40 seconds

Instead of dropping into 10th position, Port sit in the top 4. Sometimes, there is no justice in football. Now, instead of talking about how badly they played and how worried we should be, we talk about how amazing the end was.

I dont think I have ever seen a team trailing by over a goal with less than 40 seconds of play win the game.

Rioli and DBJ can hold their heads up high. Especially Rioli. We may be lording DBJ for the match winner, but Rioli is the reason there was time for that. He knew he had no time to line up for goal and do his routine he just shot.

sooooo ive spent the past few days working on making a cross stitch for blue stargazer lilies. kinda hard when blue stargazers are like, not a real thing, and ive never done art stuff like this before. im not totally done with the pattern(s) but idk i need feedback. i found this cool pattern by Galina Skabeeva for Riolis. problem is 1. its not sold in the us, if at all anymore 2. its NOT BLUE. so i just edited it to be simpler and BLUE. i also accidentally edited out a leaf lmao. i should draw it back in

i kinda like the first one better but the second one looks more like the photo in the florist’s book that mickey looks at. how we feeling??
