Smut and fluff, ‘cause some people said they deserved it after that angst chapter, but man this took forever to write. Literally didn't edit this cause we die by our mistakes

It was harder than you thought to keep your mind clean. Severen didn't help you by fondling your ass every now and then, and you were uncomfortably riled up by the time you got to the motel. Severen only grinned and asked,
"Something wrong, darlin'? And you gave him an extra hard glare as he opened the door to the motel room. To your surprise, it was empty. Mae and Caleb had a habit of going off by themselves for reasons besides feeding, and you supposed that Jesse and Diamondback hadn't eaten yet. And Homer? Well, you set your food on the table and checked the bathroom, but he was nowhere to be found. Severen took off his leather jacket, arching a brow at you to ask, and you shook your head. The two of you stared at eachother for a moment, and then both of you fell onto your bed for the night. The kiss was all tongue and you yanked at Severens hair as he slid between your legs. The two of you could never expect to get far, even in these moments when no one was at the room. But you hoped, prayed, that you could at least get to third base. Severen didn't hesitate to touch you now, groping at your breasts through your shirt, rubbing and pinching at your clothed nipples. It made your breath hitch, and you nipped at his lips and urged him on with a roll of your hips. He groaned at the contact, rutting back and slipping his hands under your shirt. While you appreciated the foreplay, your time was limited. It's why you pulled your hands from his hair and reached to unbutton the button of your jeans, quickly begging him with the words,
"Please, Severen, please touch me." And Severen didn't need to be asked twice. His hand wormed its way down your pants and you let out a frustrated whine when he rubbed you through your panties. He was such a tease, and you yanked at the hair at the nape of his neck to show your frustration. He chuckled into your kiss, before tilting his head and deepening your kiss. You were already soaked, you could tell. You couldn't remember a time you'd been so pent up. But, well, you couldn't remember a time where you'd gone this long without consistent, if not unsatisfying sex. At least you'd had the privacy of your own home to masturbate, but you hadn't even had that. Severens hand finally slipped under your panties, rubbing through your folds and making you moan pathetically into his mouth. He ate it up, and you knew you were probably boosting his ego dangerously high.
He used the calloused pad of his thumb to rub circles into your clit, nearly making you cry out at the attention and arch up into him. He started a fast pace, his thumb firmly pressing against the bundle of nerves. It made the fire roar inside your belly, and you felt his fingers gathering up your slick before traveling lower. He circled your entrance, not missing an opportunity to tease you, before he began to sink one inside. His hands were big and his fingers were thick, much thicker than yours. The feeling made you keen, and you thought that just a minute more of this and you'd be cumming around it.
Of course, he'd barely begun to pump the single digit inside of you before you heard a key in the door. You gasped, but he was ripping his hand away from your sex, and helping you button up your pants in a single second. You'd just zipped your zipper and Severen had just pushed himself off of you, deciding to pop his slick finger inside his mouth and suck your slick off, before the door opened. The two of you had sat up, but, it was clear from your flushed face that this wasn't all you'd been doing. In came Homer, a coke in his hand, and Severen glared at the younger vampire as he pulled a pillow over his crotch. He looked at the two of you, and a grin was quick to come to his face.
"Did I interrupt something?" And suddenly you understood why Severen was so mean to the kid sometimes. The pair of you sat with your backs against the headboard, as Homer had refused to leave to give you a few more minutes of privacy. He sat on the floor to watch TV, and you glared at the screen mourning your ruined orgasm. When the pair of you had not so subtly suggested, he'd replied, "Oh, go back to what you were doing. Pretend like I'm not even here." And it had earned him a pillow to the back of the head.
All hopes of him leaving were dashed when Jesse and Diamondback came back to the room, and you sunk into the bed completely defeated. Severen didn't look any better than you, and Diamondback had even asked,
"Did something happen?" As if the pair of you had a fight. You shook your head, and it wasn't long before all seven of you were back in the room. You leaned against Severens chest stared at the TV, zoning out more than anything as he combed his hands through your hair. Thought flashes through your mind. Replays of the feelings from only a little while earlier. Severen had definitely known what he was doing, and, even if you'd gotten close, you hadn't even began to touch him. Quickly, your images of Severen teasing you flipped. You replayed the groan you had earned from him, imagining being able to draw more sounds like that from him. How his skilled hands would tangle into your hair, similar to the way they were petting your head now. How he would guide your head, and, probably, hold you down to slip his dick down the rest of your throat. You imagined going further, how deep he'd be able to fit inside you. If you were honest, you didn't know truly how big he was. Well, you could arrange to figure out soon. But your thoughts continued. You mused about how easily he could pick you up, hold you down. Being whatever he was did have a few advantages. You bit your lip for a moment, a particularly tantalizing image of him pinning you down by your arms, no your throat, appearing in your mind.
You gulped at the thought. After a few more minutes of sulking and fantasizing, a thought occurred to you. While there was practically no hope of all of them leaving, that didn't mean that the pair of you had to stay. Usually, you weren't the type for anything as risque attempting to get off without four walls surrounding you, but desperate times called for desperate measures. You looked at the time, and bit your lip when you saw that it was 4 am. Dawn was still an hour or so away, and you looked towards the brunette sitting besides you. You leaned over to kiss his cheek, if only to catch his attention away from the TV.
"Wanna go for a walk?" You asked, and Severen arched a brow at you. Usually, you weren't one for walks at night, but he was quick to nod. Severen trailed after you everywhere, and you doubted he'd let you go out at this time of night without him. You hopped off the bed and tugged him by his hand, and Diamondback called after the pair of you,
"Watch the time." Even if you knew that was mostly for Severen. Once the door had shut behind you, you grinned and pulled him down the hall. The outside air was cool, and you giggled at the pure excitement running through you. Severen smiled along, trying to catch you by your waist as he asked,
"What's gotten into you?" And you turned around to stop and give him a grin. The pair of you had found the bottom of the stairwell. It was a small little room, but, just under the stairs, it was slightly secluded. Tucked away where no one could see. You flushed a little as you tried to think of your words, playing with his shirt as you tried to figure out how to phrase them. You were never good at flirting, and it was embarrassing what you were about to tell him. Instead, you decided to tug on his shirt and tug him back into the darkness, tip-toeing up to press kisses to his jaw. He followed you until you pushed his back against the wall, tilting his head down so he could capture your lips. His hands moved down your sides, and Severen was quick to recapture his fervor from earlier. He reached down to grip your ass, making you moan into his mouth before one of his hands moved to your front. He rubbed and cupped you through your jeans, and you arched your hips into the touch. But, before you could become completely sidetracked, you reached down to start undoing his jeans. He was quick to pull away from the kiss, his eyes swirling with lust, but he said,
"Wait, wait, not here- I wanted to do something nice-" And while you were flattered that he'd thought far ahead enough to want to plan something, you quickly shushed him. You placed a finger over his lips, before leaning up to peck them. When you fell back on your heels, you told him,
"Don't get ahead of yourself, cowboy." And you were surprised by the surge of confidence that ran through you. You didn't know why, but that was the boost you needed. He smiled down at you, grinning wickedly at the nickname before he watched you fall down to your knees. You unbuckled his belt, deciding that this was the best way to answer a few of your questions. You'd pushed his shirt up as you made work of his pants, sucking a hickey into his side, before you were reaching in to rub him through his underwear. He hardened under his fingertips, and you made work of trailing little red spots above his waistband. When you got to his happy-trail, you nosed along the line of hair before you were finally pulling his underwear down and letting his cock spring free.
It was long and thick, and slightly bigger than you'd expected. But, that didn't stop you from licking the side all the way to the tip, wrapping your lips around it and starting to massage it with your tongue. While you'd only really been with one guy, you had some practice. Even if Severens dick was bigger than what you were used to working with. You looked up, seeing that he'd leaned his head back against the wall. He was never one to stay quiet long, and he quickly began coaxing you through it.
"Just like that, yeah. You can take a little bit more, can't you?" He asked, his hand finding its way to the back of your head. You'd started up a steady rhythm, and he lightly pushed you to take more and more of his length. Your jaw was already starting to ache, but you forced through it and took him down deeper. His voice had gone a little rough around the edges, and he said, "Good girl. Just like that." And, god, you were wet just from the sound of his voice. His hips moved with the rhythm you'd started, pushing himself further and further down your throat until he nudged the back of it. You did you best not to gag, but, soon, it seemed as thought he was no longer content to let you keep control. He paused your head, pushing it further down to earn a muffled whine and you quickly did your best to keep your throat relaxed. He grinned, and then said, "Keep that pretty mouth of yours open, darlin'." He said, reaching down to massage your jaw. He gripped you by your hair, keeping it so you couldn't move your head as he began thrusting into your mouth. His place started slow and nice, giving you a moment to get used to it before all you could do was let your mouth hang open as he pistoned himself inside your mouth. You could feel tears pricking in your eyes, the quick pace making it so drool was dribbling down your chin. You could feel his dick twitch inside your mouth, hear him as he whispered huskily, "Yeah, just a little bit more," and then-
You heard heavy footsteps stomping down the stairwell and Severen ripped you off his dick. He was quick to tuck himself away and fix his pants, and he helped you up off of the ground. You did your best to wipe the drool off your chin as Severen fixed his belt, and the pair of you walked around the stairs to act as if the pair of you were heading back up. You passed a stranger, obviously one staying in the motel just like you, and you could hear Severen cursing under his breath. The only thing you could make out was,
"Fucking blueballs-" And you covered your mouth, stifling a laugh. He whipped his head towards you, and you quickly cleared your throat to cover it up. Still, you thought perhaps it was just a little funny.
Subtle revenge, you thought. Even if it hadn't been intentional. He scoffed, looking around and then backing you up against the wall. You squeaked, and one of his hands cupped your chin and squeezed your cheeks. His light eyes were shrouded in darkness, and he leaned down close to whisper,
"Laugh at me again and I'll fuck that mouth raw. Got it?" He asked, and you tried not to think about the heat pooling in your belly from his threat. You knew that Severen would never do anything you didn't want him to, but the idea of him being even less restrained? Of him taking control? It made your eyes hooded as you stared up at him. You gave him a quick nod, and he looked over your face for a moment before leaning down to recapture your lips. He sucked your bottom lip into his mouth, letting his teeth graze against it in a way that made you whimper. Your mouth was already sensitive, and his kiss was bruising. His hands wandered, groping whatever he pleased and making you arch into the touch. When his thumb rubbed over one of your nipples, you grabbed his hand and arched into his touch. You whimpered, the sound needy and pathetic, and, for a moment, you thought Severen was gonna hike you around his hips and take you right there. He didn't, and a wave of disappointment filled you. Instead, he swiped his thumb across your bottom lip and said, "Car?" And you thought he was a genius.
Your "clan" had picked a truck with a cap earlier that evening, one that Severen had taken straight off the lot. The first night you'd watched him do it, you'd been fascinated with how quick he was with a hanger. The second the doors were closed the pair of you were back on eachother. There was a semblance of privacy, one that let the pair of you slow down just the tiniest bit. He kissed you over and over until you were putty in his hands, and you heard him start to unfasten his own belt so you could finish what you had started.
“How can I help you, pilgrim?” He asked, and the annoyance was clear in his voice. Whatever this intrusion was for, it wasn’t welcome. Caleb smiled, a tinge of knowing in his eyes, and he gave you a smile before he said,
A knock on the window of the truck nearly scared the shit out of both of you, and Severen looked through the darkened window to see the slightly dirty face of his brother. Caleb. Severen leaned back in the seat, cursing, before he began cranking the window down.
“Diamond’ wanted me to tell you that sun’s up in a half hour.” Caleb said, and Severen gave him a hard glare. Caleb was chewing a toothpick, and it was one of the first times you’d seen him without Mae. It seemed that cock-blocking the pair of you was a game that both of Severen’s brothers enjoyed.
“Tell her I said thank you.” Severen replied, and then went to close the conversation with a few rolls of the window. Before he could, Caleb piped up. From the look in Severen’s eye, you almost thought he was gonna give him a black eye.
“There’s a camera right there, y’know.” Caleb said, pointing towards a security camera neither of you had spotted before. Right under it was a sign telling them that the parking lot was under twenty-four hour surveillance. You blushed bright red, suddenly thankful for the intrusion. The brunette besides you gave you a look, and he seemed to be able to tell that if you were going to continue your earlier action, it wasn’t going to be here. Severen sighed and shook his head, then gave Caleb a grin as fake as canned cheese.
“Thank you, Caleb. You can leave now.” Severen said, his voice dripping with faux-kindness. Caleb must’ve enjoyed pulling on Severens chain, or at least he might’ve enjoyed brushes with death. Because Caleb had the gall to continue as he stepped back, saying,
“Oh, I might go for a walk. Isn’t that what y’all said you were gonna do? You two get far?” And Caleb’s double-meaning wasn’t lost on the two of you. Severen opened the door, as if he really was going to beat Calebs ass, and the light haired brunette laughed and jogged away from the silent threat of violence. Severen slammed the door closed and sighed, leaning back in his seat with his eyes closed for a moment. You were still curled up next to him, and you gently pet at his chest before you laid his head on his shoulder. It seemed neither of you were getting far that night, and you opted to cuddle up to him instead. Softly, you told him,
“We’ll figure something out.” And he let out a soft grunt in response. He reached down to fix himself in his pants, giving his dick a squeeze to try to lessen the pressure. You leaned over, kissing at his jaw until he turned his head to press his lips against yours. After a quick slide of his lips, he offered,
“We could get in the back.” And you gave him a small glare in response. He sighed, and you could practically hear his train of thought. Swing and a miss. He leaned back in to give you another short, sweet kiss, and you ran your hand over his thigh, trying to find purchase. His breath hitched for a moment, and he said, “Don’t tease.” Before he leaned back in, deepening the kiss.
You didn’t get to do much more than makeout in the truck, but you’d taken your extra bout of time with eachother to talk lightly. It was nice, just laying on his chest and listening to him speak. You’d gotten to ask a few questions, and you’d specifically asked about his age. He’d grinned for a moment as he laid his head back, and vaguely said,
“You know about the Chicago fire?” He asked, and you furrowed your brows. It didn’t take long to put together what he was telling you. They set fires each night, and you lifted your head off his chest.
“That was you?” You asked, poking his chest. He laughed, nodding and continued with,
“Me and Jesse. It was just me and Jesse back then.” You hummed, thinking about what he’d told you. You tried to remember what year that fire was, thinking back to your highschool classes. You wanted to say 1870-1872. It was the 80’s. The 1980’s. That meant that Severen was over a hundred years old, not including any time before that and the years he’d spent as a human. And Jesse, you assumed, was older. You propped your chin on his chest, staring at him for a moment. You smiled as you said,
“Homer was right.” You whispered, and he furrowed his brows and looked at you. “You are too old for me.” You clarified, laughing at the look that crossed his face. He rolled his eyes, before quickly grabbing you and tickling your side. You laughed, almost a little too loud, but he was pressing further, pressing you back until you fell back against the seat. He tickled you until you were crying for mercy, and he said,
“I guess I’ll just have to eat you then.” He teased, playfully growling and mouthing at your neck as he tickled your sides. It took several cries of uncle before he ceased his tickling and clamped his lips over yours. He’d climbed on top of you, settling between your legs and trying his best to fit in the cramped truck. You giggled into the kiss, the after-shocks of adrenaline still running through you. You combed your fingers through the back of his hair, letting him pull away from the kiss to trail kisses to the corner of your lips, and then up your jaw.
“You won’t.” You told him, and you could feel that it was true to the core of your bones. “You like me too much.” You said with a giggle, and he kissed right under your ear before he was pulling away. He pulled so he could stare at you, brushing your hair away from your face and trailing his fingers over the exposed line of skin of your neck.
“Plus, I’d rather eat you out instead.” He teased, and you scoffed and pushed him away.

Severen was rough around the edges anyone with eyes could see that. But somehow you’d managed to soften some of those edges. Even his family was surprised at how effortlessly you’d wrapped Severen around your finger. It seemed to of happened so suddenly. You were leaning over the bar, flagging down the bartender for a shot, when Severen took notice of a patron paying you a little too much attention. He watched as the man sauntered up and leaned next to you, telling the bartender to make it a double and grab him one too before placing a bill down. Severen knew that you were only going to make a meal out of him but he couldn’t help but feel jealousy bubbling up in his chest. He watched as you turned to him and gave him a smile that was only for him and the soon to be deceased. The man spoke to you in a hushed tone and reached out to card his fingers through the hair just above your ear when Severen decided he had seen enough. Maybe it was because he was feeling territorial that day or maybe he was just antsy but he slipped out of the booth that they’d all chosen to occupy and advanced towards the poor son of a bitch. He snaked an arm around your waist and pulled you away from your dinner, making you shoot him a sour look. “Well howdy there, I do believe you’ve made the acquaintance of my lil honey here.” His fingers came under your chin and he tilted your face up to look at him. You pouted stubbornly and Severen chuckled before pecking your forehead, a promise to make it up to you later. “I’m Severen, and you are?” He turned back to the man had a wicked grin on his face. “Well pardon me, I’m just a stranger. It seemed to me that your lil honey here needed a drink. So I just thought I’d be so kind.” Severen’s eyes flickered to the side as the bartended set the shots down on the bar and retreated with his cash. “Well that is mighty kind of ya.” Severen grabbed one of the shots and downed it, sighing in contentment once the liquid cleared his throat. “That’s the good stuff huh?” The booth behind ya’ll tittered with laughter but you only rolled your eyes and crossed your arms. That was your meal your kill, and here was your boyfriend trying to cut in so his stupid big ego wouldn’t be bruised. He looked down to grin at you when he realized you were still glaring at him, your jaw set. Suddenly he was worried he’d stepped out of bounds. “Severen. Go sit down.” The man beside the two of you laughed loudly. “You heard? ‘ey said go sit down.” Severen’s eyes shot between you two, trying to decide if he was going to let this guy talk like that to him or if he was going to get in trouble with you. “Severen...” At your word he backed up, shoved his hands in his pockets and plodded back to the booth. Not only did the man in front of you laugh but you could hear Homer snickering behind you too. You take a step closer to the man and place a hand on his chest. “Attention down here big guy, I still want that drink.” There was no time to process your words before you were leaning up and sinking your teeth into his neck. You wanted to play with your food a little more but for now you decided Severen was humbled enough. But while watching you stop Severen from getting into a fight was already impressive watching you make Severen completely stop a fight was monumental.
They had always wondered why you were alone when Severen found you. Most vampires stuck together, taking in anyone they’d sired like family. It’d always made Jesse nervous that you came from outside their circle, made it harder to trust you. But you’d carved out your own little niche in his family and Jesse’s nerves eventually subsided. That was until you’d been traveling through Nevada. You’d mentioned having lived there before and they figured you wouldn’t mind a return visit. However, once your stolen Spirit hatchback rolled over the city line to LAs Vegas you requested Jesse pull over. He reluctantly obliged before they all watched you calmly exit the vehicle and start walking the opposite direction, back into the desert. Severen stared back at you, open mouthed and baffled. Quickly he scrambled out of his seat and ran after you. “Wait! Y/n Wait! Where the hell ya think you’re goin’?” You turn and point back towards the city. “Anywhere but fucking there.” For the first time since you’d entered the state of Nevada Severen could clearly see the panic that had been surging through you clear on your face. Your pupils were blown wide and your hands were shaking ever so slightly, he approached you cautiously, eyes soft with concern. Grabbing you gently by the wrist Severen pulled you in. You gladly wrapped your arms around him and held onto him tightly. His fingers scratched soothingly at the base our skull and he squeezed you. “Darlin’ what’s wrong?” He finally coaxed you back to the car and on the side of the road, just outside the city limits you told them about the man who made you like this. It wasn’t a sweet story. It wasn’t one you liked to share. But int the end you’d gotten as far away as you could and leaned to survive this new life all alone. Jesse set his jaw eyes looking to Diamondback who nodded before looking back to Severen who did the same. Jesse patted your knee before turning around to start the car again. “We’ll only stop for a bite, we’ll be in the suburbs before daylight.” You’d known you wasted some of their time already, so you only agreed. You all needed to eat. The entire rest of the ride in you gripped Severen’s hand tightly and chewed your bottom lip. He moved only to wrap his arm around you and hold you close. After a moment he pressed his lips to your ear “Don’t worry baby, I’m here. Ain’t no one gonna hurt you. I promise.”
You quickly realized Jesse didn’t really know where he was going so you stepped in to direct him to yet another tiny dive bar. It was one you used to frequent, but by now you knew it’d be all new staff and patrons. The city moved fast but you stayed the same. When you walked in your guess was correct. The bar was just as low key as you remembered, filled with only four customers, and not a single face was recognizable. You and Severen sat at the bar, waiting to be served, and the others took the corner closest to the door. The bartender was taking her sweet time polishing a glass instead of serving you two and you could feel Severen buzzing beside you, restless. Finally a deep voice from behind the two of you drew her attention, a familiar voice that made you go rigid. “I believe you have customers waiting! And important ones at that. Get a round of shots, the good tequila.” You watched as the bartender jumped, nearly dropping the glass she’d been cleaning before scrambling to work. A heavy hand fell on your shoulder and a familiar scent flooded your senses as the man behind you leaned in. “You still like tequila, don’t ya?” You supposed that in hindsight, coming somewhere familiar wasn’t the right choice.
Severen was out of his seat and Jesse was across the room before you could even turn to confirm what you already knew. Severen was about to grab him up when Jesse stepped in, holding his arm out and keeping your boyfriend at bay. But that wouldn’t be enough he practically had to wrestle Severen back to his chair as your own was turned slowly towards the predator behind you. A cold hand that felt nothing like Severen’s comforting one cupped your cheek and he leaned in close. “I knew you’d come back. I waited right here.” “We ain’t lookin’ for trouble, stranger.” Jesse cut in, making him turn away from you. He eyed Severen and laughed. “Might wanna tell that to him.” And just like that Severen ripped himself from Jesse’s grasp and launched at your creator. The two men tumbled to the ground and you jumped to your feet. But before you or anyone else could do anything a well landed punch to the face sent Severen flying back, across the bar. His head cracking loudly against the opposite wall in a way that made you gasp. The man before you calmly go to his feet before moving to take a step towards Severen. At the same time you and Jesse closed in, standing shoulder to shoulder to block his path. “I see you went off and found a new family. I’m hurt. No calls? No postcard? Is that how you treat me after all I gave you?” Jesse placed a hand on his chest, drawing his attention once again. “Like I said we want no trouble. We’ll be out of here.” He shook his head at Jesse, smirking. “Not with her you’re not.” In this time Severen was able to recover enough to slide off the bar and wipe his own blood from his busted lip. You quickly ran back to him and grabbed him by the jacket. His hands instinctively went to your waist as he glared across the bar. You shook him until his gaze finally landed on you. You could still hear the two men conversing tensely in the background but you tuned it out. “Severen, you can not fight him. He’s going to kill you.” Severen barked out a loud laugh, “I’d like to se ‘em try! That punch tickled.” You shook him again but his gaze stayed firmly put across the room this time. You glanced back to see Diamondback at the door standing guard and Jesse doing his best to ease the tension on his end. “Severen you promised. You promised to protect me. And I don’t feel very fucking safe right now.” And he could hear it, the way your voice wavered. He’d never once seen you afraid. Not like this. Your grip on his jacket tightened and finally he relented. His posture relaxing a fraction. His hands reeled you in closer. “Then let’s go...” You directed Severen towards a back door, Mae and Homer quick to take the queue to follow. They filed out just ahead of you. Severen stayed firmly put just inside the bar and you were just outside, both waiting for Jesse and Diamondback. Slowly they both retreated as well. Diamond back grabbed your shoulders to guide you away and Jesse grabbed Severen’s to do the same. Before the door could fall shut you heard it, one last taunt. “You’ll be back!”
When you all piled into the car, still hungry and a bit shaken, you wanted to cry. For the first time in a long time you wanted to sob. But you didn’t. Instead you tilted your head back and looked up at the roof of the car, cool hands running over your face. You hadn’t been that scared since you left. And now you were sure if your heart could still beat it’d be palpitating painfully. Silently Jesse started the car and took off. None of you knew where to go from here other than out of Vegas.

A Hundred Thousands Voices that Just Can’t Sing
wow. a oneshot. @ichlugebulletsandcornnuts and i wrote a oneshot. shocking.
i don’t have much else to say so... enjoy this fluff and angst fest
this particular summer’s heat stretch spelled longer than any jane can remember, and even with central air conditioning, it seems just as hot inside as outside.
she and katherine spend many afternoons trying to beat the heat at the beach, the library, anywhere where relief could potentially be found.
it doesn’t escape jane’s notice, however, that as august begins to pass into september, parr, who usually was reclusive, seemed nonexistent around the house, not coming out for meals or anything other than the show itself.
on one particular day, jane finds the perfect opportunity to approach parr about it. boleyn and cleves were taking katherine to something called ‘laser tag’, and they’d somehow roped aragon into coming along as a form of adult supervision, meaning that jane and parr were the only two people left in the house.
it concerns jane, parr’s lack of presence around the house. sure, she often spent a lot of time alone, but she’d usually be around when jane made a morning cup of tea, or she’d pop out of her room to lend katherine a book.
so, then, she decides she should speak to parr about it. she knocks gently on parr’s door, listening for signs of movement inside.
it’s nearly silent in parr’s study, all she can hear is the occasional shift of a floorboard, but beyond that there’s no sound at all. jane had been fully expecting to hear pen scratches or keyboard taps or even books moving, but there really was no sign of life.
“cathy?” she quietly calls. “it’s jane. can i come in, love?”
jane would swear on her life she heard a noise - maybe a sigh of some sort, could have been a sniffle, but it was very parr. as is the response, a simple, voice-barely-above-a-normal-volume, “no.”
jane pauses, taken aback. that wasn’t what she’d expected at all. she hovers by the door for a moment, unsure of what to do. she didn’t want to push parr, or make her feel uncomfortable at all, but she was worried about her and the way parr had responded to the question hadn’t made her worry decrease in the slightest.
“are you sure?” she asks, possibly slightly futilely.
there’s still no sign that parr was actually there, the room so quiet and so still.
on the other side of the door, parr is sitting in her desk chair, rolling pencils between her fingers, trying to make any words flow out all. but all she can focus on, besides her obvious problems, are jane’s shifting feet on the floor just outside her room.
“go away, jane.”
jane doesn’t say anything after that, and parr turns back to her desk. she notices, however, the telltale silence and lack of creaking floorboards that could have only meant jane hadn’t walked away from the door. she sighs and turns back.
“are you just gonna stand out there or what?” she asks. she feels like there should be a tone of sarcasm behind her voice, but instead it comes out as exhaustion.
“parr...” jane starts, but her voice cracks and falters before disappearing. she clears her throat and tries again. “cathy, i just want to make sure you’re okay, love. you’ve been distant lately, and i want you to know that whatever the problem is... you can come to me about it.”
“i’m fine, jane,” parr nearly snaps. “just leave me alone, please.”
jane feels a pang to her heart at the tone of parr’s voice and she sighs.
“i’ll... i’ll be downstairs if you need me, cathy.”
she keeps her word and heads downstairs, mind troubled with thoughts of parr and what’s making her withdraw herself like this. she wants parr to open up to her, to talk to her about what’s wrong, but she knows pushing parr will just make her draw back into her she’ll even more.
her best plan at the moment, she supposes, is to leave it a little while, then bring parr a cup of tea or something, see if she’s ready to talk then. if not, then jane doesn’t know how to get through to her right now.
parr sighs, somewhat thankful and somewhat upset as she hears jane's retreating footsteps. the woman means well, parr knows that, but she just can't talk about-
no, parr reminds herself, not thinking about it.
she forces those thoughts out of her head, but the more she tries the more they come back. she drops her head onto her desk, desperately trying to not think about mary.
oh, there it is, and the floodgates begin.
parr died only days after having her beautiful baby girl, and she has no idea what happened to her. if she even lived past infanthood. there was no information anywhere that she could find, and it makes her tremble and shake like the hills in a storm not knowing whatever happened to her little mae.
she doesn't quite know when she fell on the floor, but curling up on the rug feels like a great idea for the time being.
the tears that are currently streaming down her face certainly weren’t unexpected at this point, but she didn’t know exactly when they started falling. she lays there, shoulders shaking as the sobs rack her body, too wrapped up in misery to even think about muffling her tears or wiping them from her face.
she doesn’t even notice the door open, not until a pair of slippered feet enter her field of vision.
"parr?" a soft, gentle, and immediately recognizable voice calls.
parr knows it's jane, she does, but she's too far consumed in her guilt and her grief that she can't even think about answering. she hugs herself tighter, wrapping her arms around her waist as she nearly buries her face in the soft shag carpet.
"cathy," jane says, quietly kneeling down next to parr. she places a hand on her shoulder, and parr nearly hisses and pulls back. "cathy, it's jane, love. talk to me."
“go away,” parr’s mouth answers on autopilot, although she isn’t quite sure how she even manages to speak between the choked sobs and her clouded mind.
“i won’t,” jane says, soft but firm. “i’m not going to leave you like this, love. not even if you scream and shout at me.”
screaming and shouting sounds like a good idea to parr, if she could only remember how to take control of her voice again.
she balls some of the carpet into her fist, burrowing further into it and silently hoping it would just swallow her.
“what’s brought this on, love,” jane asks gently, “please talk to me.”
more images of her baby girl, wrapped in that little silk blanket, appear in front of her eyes. her heart starts to race, breathing quickening as she loses track of jane in front of her.
“mary,” she whispers hoarsely, as if calling her back. “mary.”
at that one word, everything slots into place. or at least, most of it. jane knows that parr never got to spend time with her daughter, that she was likely taken out of the room right away as parr took ill, and jane can relate to the heartbreaking sight of seeing your baby being taken away, unsure if you’ll ever see them again.
“cathy,” jane says, softly, gently. “please, you can talk to me about it.” as jane speaks, parr manages to catch onto her words and hear them, grounding herself ever so slightly. as jane continues, though, parr wonders if it would have been better to not have heard them at all.
“i understand how you feel, cathy,” jane sighs, and she’s only trying to help, but parr feels a strange rage bubble up inside her.
“no you don’t,” she hisses, a sudden venom behind her words.
“i do, cathy,” jane insists, “me and eddie, remember?”
“that’s not the same.”
“it is, cathy, i died just-“
“it is not the same, jane,” parr hisses, a dark bitterness spreading through her words. “mary,” she chokes on the name, but presses on, “mary was my only chance. after your,” she gives jane a sharp poke on the shoulder, pushing her back slightly, “bastard of a brother ruined everything i had with bess, she wouldn’t come near me!” her voice lowers, but not to a whisper but nearly to growl. “i had no one, and mary was my only chance.”
jane, stares, a horrified frown on her face. “cathy, i-” she begins, but parr isn’t done yet.
“and then, when i hadn’t even had a chance to hold her, i was ripped away from her.” she gives a dark chuckle. “maybe it’s karma. i should have done something more for bess. i should have recognised the signs, i should have listened earlier, i should have not been so blinded by my love for that bastard-” here she pauses, squeezing her eyes shut. “i should have done so much more, but i didn’t. so maybe this was just life’s way of getting back at me. taking away the two most important things in my life, one after the other.”
“cathy-“
“don’t even try, jane,” parr protests, she still can’t make herself move off the floor. what scares jane next is the way that parr’s breathing seems to get faster, a slightly high-pitched nervous giggle forming in her words as she continues, “and everyone knows bess became the greatest queen who ever lived, right? but i don’t even know what happened to mary, because according to all the books i read, her life stopped mattering the second mine ended!” there are tears and fast breathing and shrill, uncomfortable giggles all together now, and parr’s fists keep clenching and unclenching the carpet.
“she was an orphan before she even reached a year old, and nobody even bothered to find out what happened to her. why would anyone care, after all? she was only my daughter. i only gave my life for her.”
parr’s voice had reached a volume jane had never heard it reach before, and if anyone else was in the house they definitely would have heard it by now.
there were tears streaming down her face so fast it just looked like perpetual wetness. but parr still isn’t done.
“i had plans to take her away. we were going to run off to ireland and leave all the mess behind. i was going to give her everything. but she was left alone, and no one fucking decided to document the life of a former english queen.”
jane takes in a breath. not only was this the angriest she’d ever seen parr, but it was the first time she’d ever heard her swear. she doesn’t know what to do or what to say, and can only let parr pour out her heart on the floor of her study. jane is powerless to do anything.
it seems that parr is coming to the end of her outburst, or at least to a break in it, and her body slumps over, drained of energy.
“why didn’t anybody care?” she asks, the biting tone to her voice replaced with exhaustion.
jane doesn’t know how to answer, how to react to such an admission. parr just dumped her broken soul on the carpet and jane needed to help clean it up. she just doesn’t know how.
she truthfully had never thought of how losing mary and elizabeth must have affected parr. she never talked about it, somewhat like how boleyn didn’t either.
“i just wish i knew,” parr basically whimpers, “what happened to her.”
“cathy,” jane says softly, “i... i’m sorry. i didn’t know-”
“yeah, you and everyone else,” parr says harshly, before sighing and dropping her head. “sorry. ‘s not your fault. i just...”
she doesn’t say anything after that, nor does she move, and jane kneels down next to her.
she slowly reaches out and places a gentle hand on parr’s shoulder, light enough that parr would be able to knock it off if she didn’t want any contact.
she doesn’t.
parr presses her forehead into the carpet trying to slow her breathing and calm her mind.
“i keep seeing her,” she whispers, her voice barely audible. “when i’m sleeping. she’s there. beautiful little girl, greenest eyes you’ve ever seen. but she’s not real.” she slams her fist against the carpet. “she’s gone.”
“maybe we could find a historian to look into it,” jane suggests hesitantly, but parr shakes her head.
“i’ve tried, jane. i’ve tried every avenue I can think of. nobody knows what happened to her because there was nobody who cared about her after me and thomas-” she stumbles over his name slightly, “-died. until someone invents a time machine i’ll never know.” she sighs bitterly and jane doesn’t blame her; for all her sadness over edward, she at least had accounts of his life, had paintings she could look at and see how he’d grown.
“i wish they were here,” parr whispers. “bess and mae. i wish i could apologize.” she sighs. “i’d tell bess that i didn’t mean to let her be hurt, that i think i really loved her more than thomas...” parr sniffles slightly. “and i’d tell mae that... i love her. i didn’t mean to leave.” she choked out the last few words as tears begin to flow again.
jane doesn’t know what to say, so instead she just wraps an arm around parr’s shoulders, slightly awkwardly given parr’s position on the floor.
to her relief, parr seems to accept the contact and even leans her head to the side, resting it against jane’s knee as she sobs. jane rubs gentle circles onto parr’s shoulder with her thumb, hoping the movement would soothe her slightly or at least give her some reassurance that she wasn’t alone, that jane was here for her.
there’s a flutter of conversation downstairs as the group returns, and parr immediately cringes as the loud voices drive through the house, especially in the half-witted state she was in.
“would you like me to close the door?” jane asks, shuffling to do so, but parr lets out a soft noise and grabs at her wrist.
“they’ll come anyway.”
she is found to be correct, as footsteps and laughter echo up the stairs and stops outside the office.
“cathy?” katherine asks quietly. “what’s wrong?”
“a few things, kid,” parr half-laughs, although she mostly sounds exhausted. “your mum’s been taking care of me, though.”
“oh,” katherine says. there’s a pause as she shifts from one foot to the other. “is there anything i can do to help?”
“could you fetch a glass of water, love?” jane says softly. she’s sure parr would appreciate it after losing so much in her tears. katherine nods and hurries past the other queens who are clustered awkwardly in the landing.
boleyn enters next. she sits down cross-legged net to jane, looking down at parr with surprisingly kind and sympathetic eyes.
before she can speak, parr nearly starts to cry again. “i’m sorry about bess,” she mumbles. “so sorry.”
boleyn’s lips tighten, but then relax. “i know, parr, but it’s okay. don’t beat yourself up.”
“i wish i could have kept her safe,” parr whispers.
“she didn’t resent you for anything,” boleyn says quietly. “i learnt that from my reading.”
“i wouldn’t have blamed her if she did.” parr’s voice is barely audible. “if you did.”
“i don’t...” boleyn closes her eyes then opens them. “i don’t blame you for what happened. sure, maybe you could have done more.” parr lets out a choked half-whimper at that. “but most of us have done things in our lives we regret. i know i regret the way i treated aragon’s mary.” she scratches the back of her neck awkwardly. “i’m not gonna hold a grudge for 500 years when you weren’t the one who did it.”
a smile flicker like a broken light across parr’s lips, then falls away. “she was so perfect, anne,” parr absently says, “so smart and bold. could name every flower in the royal garden... we spoke in french or italian so we couldn’t be easily understood...” she turns her head slightly to look up at boleyn. “she asked about you. who you were...” she drops her voice. “what happened to you. i didn’t know how to tell her, i believed you innocent anyway... she just thought you died.”
boleyn gives a rueful shake of her head. “not my girl. she would have found it out, she was resourceful as hell. but... i appreciate you looking out for her like that, i really do.”
“she loved you so much,” parr says faintly. “sometimes some of the things you do... she was so much like you, anne.”
boleyn wipes hastily at her eyes, which were beginning to fill with tears.
aragon, finally understanding the situation, enters the room as well,  joining the circle. her goddaughter needed her.
“you did nothing wrong, parr,” she says gently, “what happened in the past... we can’t change it.”
parr opens her mouth to respond when katherine comes flying in with the water. she hands it to parr, then lays down on the floor next to her. she looks at parr with wide, youthful eyes. “i hope you feel better, aunty cathy,” she whispers.
parr gives her a watery smile. “thank you, mon petit ange,” she says gently. katherine shifts closer to her until she’s almost curled up against her, and aragon puts her hand on parr’s shoulder.
“we’re here for you.” her voice is strong yet soft. “whenever you need to talk, we’re here to listen. we promise.”
“aragon’s right,” boleyn nods. “you don’t have to bottle everything up. we’re your family, cathy, and we wanna help when we can.”
parr looks at them - all of them, as cleves had followed katherine in and took up residence beside boleyn - and her eyes fill with tears again. she wraps one arm around katherine, pulling the girl against her, and places her other hand on top of aragon’s.  she smiles again, watery and sad, but with some bare semblance of hope. “thank you, i...” she sniffles. “i don’t know what i did in my past life to deserve you all, but i love you ladies.” she takes a breath. “even if i don’t show it, i do.”
“we love you too,” katherine says, voice muffled against the material of parr’s jumper.
“and don’t you forget it,” aragon adds, leaning over and pressing an oddly maternal kiss to the top of parr’s head.
“that’s the beauty of this second chance, love,” jane says softly. “we all have each other.”
“we all have each other,” parr repeats in a faint murmur. she feels katherine pull against her more, and she finally feels cognizant enough to bend her head just slightly and kiss the top of kat’s head.
“can’t get rid of us so easily,” boleyn laughs.
parr lets out a breathy chuckle, then meets boleyn’s eyes seriously. “i would never want to, anne.” she kisses kat’s head again. “never.”

New Beginnings Part 2
It felt like he was falling through syrup, slow-moving but still falling. Opening his eyes proved futile, the area around him was a drab grey with a white outline of his soul right outside of his chest. Was it suppose to be clear and see through? There was color there before, right? What was it? Slowly it filled up, like a glass of orange juice and just as orange.
It didn’t make sense, but he wasn’t scared. It filled him with a smile, bravery surged and a slow understanding. Falling through syrup wasn’t scary, it was comforting. His name, he was Kenneth, and he was nine years old. The young Canadian scrambled, he didn’t want to fall any more, he felt like he was rapidly approaching the ground and he didn’t want to hit the bottom.
The place suddenly blacks out and he comes to, wrapped up and in a dark place. He didn’t know where it was, but he struggled out of the wrappings, ripping them and shoving what felt like a stone cover off of this cage.
When it hit the ground, he pops up, gasping in greedily for air. Was he in a coffin? Where was he? He felt weak as he tries to struggle out of the coffin, needing to get out, needing to fight that king.
But as he made slow progress out of the basement, full of coffins. Rage filled him, how many died? He remembered dying, over and over, till he eventually gave up. But now he was here and was finally in the throne room, which was oddly empty minus the heavily trampled flowers, showing that many had left, either in a hurry or as a mass amount of people.
Was the way open now, he had to wonder as he slowly walked out, things seemed a little different as he stepped out of the cave, but he was happy to be out. Now to make sure that no one was dying. He didn’t really wonder why he was back, only thankful that he was as he walked towards the town that he could spot.

He was happy here, with mother and his cousin. Safe from harm and sadness, he got to hear her humming some nameless song she never told him.
Slowly her humming stopped “Honey?” she said, voice filled with sadness he didn’t want to think on “it’s time for you to go...you too Giselle” she said to the girl curled up and resting on her hip.
“Don’t make me go” I had begged, voice soft from sleep. She only smiled “Sweet Ronan, it’s time to get up, you’ll find that it’s safe right now, and you’ll make some friends” she promised.
I had wanted to argue, but she had started to sing again, drawing us both to sleep. Our world filled with greens and blues and a sad song. We didn’t want to get up, mother told us who we were everyday when we couldn’t even remember her name.
Slowly I came to, laid on the floor as Giselle waited at my side, playing with her hair in a daze, far away look. Smiling when she noticed me staring at her “I guess it’s time to get up” she sounded as sad as I had felt, lending me a hand to help me up. I didn’t spare a glance to the room as we had walked out, praying that I'd never see him again.

The perfect yard, square and trimmed. But, just beyond the fence was conflict, yelling, screaming and fighting. Nothing filled his heart with rage than the fact that no one was doing anything. I gripped the fence, ready to jump over.
“You have such a big heart, but, are you sure you want to give it to those who may want to break it?” His grandma said from her little cushioned swing. He had turned to her, wondering why she was here, didn’t she die a while ago? “Of course, why shouldn’t i want to help them? If I do nothing, i’m selfish and mean” Her smile only grew as she laughs her dorky laugh that never failed to make me grin.
“Then go ahead, but remember, I love you Lo” She said, I grinned even more “love you too gram!” I said before hopping over the fence, I can, and I will help, but as my feet touch the other side, everything went black.
I come to suddenly, light falling into what seemed like a coffin as memories flood me. I had died, I had given up my soul. But it looked like others had died. Why was I awake? It didn’t matter much to me as I stood up, the loosened wrappings falling off as I stepped out of the coffin. Someone had opened them all, others looking like they were sleeping peacefully. Everything seemed alright here, maybe I should wait for them and help each together? Yeah, that sounded grand!
Helping others came at no price that I wasn’t unwilling to pay.

The cold was something she was used to, it blew and chilled, but it was something she could weather well. But she couldn’t see anything past this blizzard and this slowly growing purple light at her chest. The light illuminating the road she was on. Where was she going? There was light at the end it seemed, fluttering and dashing away.
She felt like she had to catch it, but why? Who knows, but she’ll catch it. As she runs after it, the light seemed to have split into three, but they were together. I sprung and tried to catch one, only narrowly missing, only for what to be metal gates closing behind me and being jostled. As I was in a metal cart, it screeched as it moved forward, being pushed forward by the two lights that had dissolved into burning reds. I remember their faces, didn’t I help them once? They needed help then.
“I will save everyone” one of them said, voice   with a will that had me faltering as the other speaks up “I will make up for everything that I have done” and together they had pushed the cart, and I, off of the platform I was on, falling fast in the metal trap. And the moment I had hit the freezing water, everything had broken into darkness.
I jump up with a gasp and half formed scream, almost blinded by the lights. I suck in a breath and whip my head around in a frenzy, seeing only one person leaning against the wall. He had said something, but I didn’t understand. I cleared my throat “Sorry, I don’t understand?” But it seemed like he didn’t understand Russian, so I didn't try again.
Instead, my attention was taken by the small form next to me, squirming.

The picnic was perfect! Even as I waited, and waited, and waited. They will come, I know they will. We had picked out the perfect spot, they had to be here.
A soft hand touched my shoulder and I looked up into the smiling faces of my parents, my own face splitting into a smile as happy tears flowed “You’re here!” I say happily, hugging them as tightly as I could.
They hugged me tightly “Yes, we’re here now. We got lost along the way, but now it’s our turn to wait love” Mother said. I look at them both, so very confused “Why? We’re here now! So we can have this picnic and enjoy the view” I felt, panicked as they hugged me again.
“Oui chéri, you have been given a second chance, take all of the time you need, we will wait” he said as they gently took a hand each and lead me down the winding path, and at the end of the path was a door.
It looked just like the one to our home, and I cried, I didn't want to leave, i wanted to stay here with them. But they didn’t listen as they gently push me through the door “Live long for us, bring back stories and friends, please Mireille?” and with that, the door closed behind me, sealing me into darkness.
I came to, fingers combing through my hair and a language I didn’t know whispering something gently, pressing her sweater to my face to dry my tears.
I looked up into a smiling face that was unfamiliar, but, she held a worried and understanding look, even as she stood up and followed someone else out of the place, I just buried my face into her shoulder and cried.
~Scene switch brought to you by loving parents~
The nightmare had played, over and over, even when I had found a safe spot to hide. But something about this time was different, the sun rose and a girl had found me. She carried a knife, but had led me out.
She didn’t say anything to me, she looked like was covered in dirt and held her knife like she wanted mister nightmare to come out and find them.
Mister nightmare never did, he stayed away, or so I thought. He had lunged out from a bush, hatchet in hand, ready and swinging already.
I stopped and closed my eyes, fear coursing through my veins, if i stay still, he’d go away or it will hurt less, right?
But the hit never came, instead i heard what sounded like a thud and crunch. Opening up my eyes, I see a grinning girl, laughing as she held her dented wooden bat, swinging it again as she aimed lower, hitting mister nightmare in the groin, cracking the world.
When the world broke, we all fell but the dirty knife girl. She stayed in place, walking off as the world was eaten by shadows and I cried on the way down.
When I finally come to, I was curled up in a girls lap. When I looked up, it was the girl with the bat from my dreams! But where was her bat?
She smiled at me brightly “Morning there champ! What’s your name?” she had asked warmly “Bram….” i said, blinking at her, confused but happy that nightmare killer lady was real. She only grinned wider “Cool! My name is Mae” she says, leaning against a really big tree.
I nod before shyly asking “um...didn't you have a bat? Where is it?” I asked, she only grinned wider “Growing up” she said, and i was very confused “growing up?” i repeated.
She nods “It’s protected me for all of these years, you too I guess, and I’m so proud of it” she says, a far away but sad look as she stares up at the leaves on the tree she was resting against.
“I guess, we should be leaving soon” she says, glancing at the town in the distance “would you like to come with?” she asks me, and I nodded, cause i trusted miss nightmare killer.
And so we had stood up and started walking towards it.

He remembered his name, Kyran. But, that was about it, he wasn’t sure where he was or why. He prayed often, like mommy told him to do. But nothing changed.
Until he decided to not to pray. Then a little fluttering light had passed by, it looked like one of those fairies that mommy had told him about, and sometimes they were mean and sometimes they were nice, but, if he is nice and polite, then they’d be nice and hopefully show him the way out?
He jumps up and chases it, trying to remember how one is nice to a fairy before ending up tripping over someone, She was crying. But he had forgotten all about the fairy and had tried to hug her, to help her not cry anymore.
It worked somewhat, she stopped crying, but she didn’t really look happy. Neither one of us notice the third person to enter the area.
But she noticed us and made a beeline for us, helping in stopping the tears and bringing smiles to our faces. She takes out hands and starts to lead us out, speaking about fun things we all can do together as the world around us starts to fade and break apart, bit by bit into darkness.
I didn’t realize I had fallen asleep, but when i come to, i’m being carried by the smiling girl as the other one walks besides her, heading towards town. It looked a little different, but how, I’m not sure.
~Scene switch brought to you by Gaster Blasters~
Leon has been aware the whole time, but now here he is arguing with two small children. They flexed their will over him, shoving and pushing. They were going to try and help him, but he struggled and fought even was the ground swallowed him.
One of the children had started to fade out, looking tired as they mumbled “oh dang….” before puffing into smoke.
Leon struggles even harder as the last child turns from him and whispers something to the little fairy like light.
It drew in magic from around it patiently as the child gently removed her own soul, slowly plucking out the little monster soul that she had tried to keep safe for all of these years.
Like rain, the fairy poured magic over the oddly small soul, watching as it grew in size before fading away “Goodbye little brother, live long” she mumbled, a soft sniffle before clearing her throat “alright, the last one then”
The fairy flew in a circle, tearing a hole into some dark place, a foulness reaching him “Wait! Little one! Don’t do that! Whatever it is, it’s bad!” He tried to warn her, but instead, she jumped in, right as the ground had finished swallowing him up.
And he came to, at the base of the mountain, unwilling to get up and move forward, he had stayed laying there. Until his stomach growled at him, forcing him to get up and head off in a random direction, unaware of where he was headed as he was following the scent of freshly made bread.
~Scene switch brought to you by Void~
The drop felt too long, even as she reached out with the aid of her little butterfly helper. Slowly, almost too slowly, they reeled him in.
The royal scientist, her Uncle almost, father to two boneheads. She remembered him and wanted to help, drawing in the pieces of him.
He was asleep, even as she had her small friend take him out of this place, she was ready to accept staying here and for everyone forgetting about her.
But that’s not what had happened. It came back, the little butterfly.
“Why are you here? Everyone has been saved” I scoffed at it, but it didn’t budge from me ‘Not everyone’ it had said.
“Who else needs saving? Everyone who matters, or didn’t do anything horrible has been saved” I ignored the feeling of hurt inside me.
‘And what about you?’ It had asked. “I don’t need saving, I started this mess, look at how many had died! My brother died, and he even...doesn't want me around” The feeling grew, sure, maybe I misunderstood, but it still hurt, he rather Frisk have been there than me, and that I understood. Humans were horrible and I was a human.
I did all of this for them, and I’d still do it again if it meant I'd save them, but it didn’t get it and flew closer ‘You still need to be saved’
I scoffed “me? No, you’re wrong” but, it said, with almost as much will as Frisk ‘No, I will save you’
It touched me, feeling almost like a hug, and I grumbled, but I said “Thank you” to it before the world had faded out.
I didn’t wake even as Gaster carried me out of the cave, heading to where he could feel the magic of the monsters.
It’s nice to be Home.
