Retro Random: Slam Dunk pt.2

La juega de calladito pero después la rompe toda en la cancha. Se la pasa despeinado, te mira mal, es fachero, tiene una afición por dormir y llevarse gente puesta con la bici. Sí, estamos hablando de Kaede Rukawa, el Super Loki.

Eterno rival de Hanamichi pero también un ¿compañero?, ¿única persona a la que le dirige la palabra? Porque entre pelea y pelea, al final Rukawa, un antisocial de manual, solo termina hablándole a él. Dicho de otro modo, le presta atención a Hanamichi, hasta lo ha llegado a alentar (a su manera) y felicitar (a su manerax2). Desde el primer momento hubo un chispazo raro entre estos dos. Admitámoslo, son muy shippeables.

Las interacciones del diez y Rukawa siempre me sacaron más de una sonrisa, por no decir que me hacían cagar de risa. Amo cuando Hanamichi no puede soportar su "odio" hacia él. Rukawa, en cambio, poco interés le pone a ese odio sin sentido. Hasta que pierde la paciencia y, como siempre, terminan a las trompadas.

Podríamos decir que no le temen al contacto físico, porque se la pasan, de alguna u otra forma, toqueteándose. Creo que si alguno de los dos tuviera que tomar la delantera para concretar la cosa, ese definitivamente sería Rukawa. Es el que siempre se mostró, al menos un poco, interesado genuinamente en Sakuragi y en sus progresos. En silencio, lo observa. Por otro lado, el pelirrojo nunca podría superar su orgullo y decirle lo que siente. Mejor dejémosle esa tarea a Rukawa *sueña*. Sí, los estoy shippeando. Déjenme ser *shora*.

Volviendo a la realidad, creo que dentro de todo ese odio sin sentido se forjó un compañerismo que solo ellos comparten y entienden y que fue sellado finalmente de esta manera.

Como era de esperarse, esta enemistad, en su momento, dio lugar a la fantasía del Enemies to lovers y al nacimiento de miles y miles de Doujins, Fanarts y Fanfictions (tengo uno pendiente de ellos que pronto voy a publicar). Gracias a dios existían para alimentarnos un poco a nosotrxs, lxs que apoyábamos la idea de que estuvieran juntos.

No solo se los shipeó a ellos sino también a todos los pibes de los equipos, pero, en mi opinión, esta fue una de las parejitas Yaoi más codiciada de la época y la apoyo al 100 %. Porque sí, amo el Enemies to Lovers. No hay cliché más hermoso.

Dale, se ven super lindos juntos ♥ Ay no puedo, se me salen los grititos de fangirl.

Volviendo a la calidad de Rukawa como jugador, probablemente se convierta en el mejor jugador de Japón antes de irse para EE.UU. Lo último que supimos de él fue que estaba entrenando con la selección de Japón. Bien pibe, ¡llegaste lejos!

Para cerrar este arco medio Yaoi, la pregunta del millón: ¿qué sentirá Hanamichi realmente por Rukawa? La verdad, no creo que lo odie tanto como dice. Sufre de celos por el tema de Haruko, pero de ahí a odiar... De hecho, me animaría a decir que muy dentro de sí lo respeta y quiere ser como él (además de querer ganarle). Es su rival. Ese rival que todos necesitamos tener alguna vez en la vida para superarnos a nosotros mismos. No por eso hay que andar dándole cabezazos, aviso. Se puede tener un rival sano y no desearle la muerte. Él solo está ahí para endurecernos. Eso es lo que genera Rukawa en Hanamichi, le da ganas de superarse a sí mismo, de crecer. Y qué orgullosa estoy de lo mucho que creció nuestro pelirrojo.

Pero mirá esa clavaada papáaa. ¿Se acuerdan lo que era este pibe al principio de la serie?

Desobediente, violento, no quería entrenar lo básico, se la pasaba paveando y alardeando, sin embargo, en poco tiempo se convirtió en un tipo responsable que se preocupa sinceramente por su equipo. Sigue siendo un engreído y sabemos que nos encanta cuando se caga a trompadas con alguien, pero también se nota que maneja otro tipo de madurez ya para la mitad del manga. El Básquet le dio disciplina y sacó a relucir su mejor lado: la perseverancia.

Podemos decir que el diez encontró su camino y lo va a dar todo para ser el mejor. Después de todo, él es muy talentoso (léase con su voz en latino).

Sé que no dije nada nuevo que los conocedores de la serie no sepan, solo tenía ganas de hablar un ratito de estos increíbles personajes que me dieron vida muchos años y aún me dan. Ahora nos queda esperar la peli. Mejor dicho, rogar que nos llegue. Ya no tengo uñas.

Para ir terminando, voy a dejar una de las secuencias que más me divierten de la serie: Rukawa, su bici rosa y los porrazos.

¿Se puede ser tan distraído? Claro que sí, doy fe. Una vez me dormí andando en bici. No se lo recomiendo a nadie, todavía tengo la cicatriz.

Bueno, una más y no jodemos más.

Fanfic Writer Ask Game: ✍️🧪 💛❤️🎁

✍️What's your ideal writing setup?

(I feel like I've answered this one before...oh well there's no harm in doing it again)

Ideal writing setup for me is home, in my spinny circle chair thing in the corner of the living room, with some water nearby and headphones to listen to music. I've written in lots of other places though, including but not limited to: hospital, wedding, in the car on my way to get my dog put down (it distracted me ok :( I was also running behind on schedule), in English class, and on the way to a location I was going to film in.

🧪Do you research for your fics?

Hell yeah I do! To get Jotaro's character right in Breadcrust Crusaders, I borrowed 3 massive books on marine life from my school's library and read them all in one go. I've also researched about a lot of bad and shady things McDonald's has done for...ahem...something...in The McDonald's Crisis of 1999.

As the next one has already been answered by me and I can't think of another answer for it, I'll choose something to replace it with.

🎨If someone were to make fanart of your work, what fic or scene would you like to see?

Ough. I'd be happy with literally any fanart from any of my fics. Though, I would like to see fanart of any of the original characters from The McDonald's Crisis of 1999 (<– calling them original characters to hide what their purpose in the fic is). Especially Max and his stand, Null and Void. One of my favourite stand concepts ever.

One of my friends wants to make an entire manga out of Breadcrust Crusaders + The McDonald's Crisis of 1999 too, I'd be absolutely over the moon if that happened! Though, I doubt it's even possible due to some jokes and parts of the fic being written words specific.

Ough. So many. Gonna list a few. Most of them are comedic in nature, some I left out bc of spoilers.

Polnareff and Kakyoin jogged downstairs, joking about commiting arson, and crimes of the same caliber.

If Jiji could befriend Caesar, then he could help Jotaro with Kakyoin, who was kind and polite, and definitely not a pompous egotistical prick.

Joseph owed his life to that sandwich.

🎁 Have a piece of a WIP you want to share?

I've been writing some fics for caejose week, so I have quite a few WIPs! Here's a snippet from the fic I'm writing for day 4:

...Joseph came to the conclusion that the feelings he had for both Caesar and Suzi were very, very similar. Identical, in fact. He wasn't exactly sure how to feel about that relevation.

He was in love.

He was in love with Caesar.

He was in love with Caesar Anthonio Zeppeli.

Joseph felt a little numb at the realisation. That wasn't rival feelings. That was love. Love.

Joseph wasn't in love. They were both blonde and Italian. Clearly, his brain was mixing up the two. It was misdirected feelings towards Caesar that was meant for Suzi, obviously. Those odd feelings could be brushed aside; He had much more important things to dwell on.

I find the concept of Joseph denying his feelings towards Caesar as "my brain's getting mixed up him and Suzi are both blonde and Italian" hilarious

¡Hora de la OTP de Beyblade! Un breve cuestionario.

Nota: Antes que nada, traduje esto con el fin de decir lo que pienso y esperando que lo poco que escriba (Sí me retan a escribir mucho, saben que lo haré, pero quiero que a quienes les interesa leerlo… Lean de manera concreta y breve mi confesión), puedan entenderlo claramente.

1. ¿Cuál es tu OTP favorita / superior en Beyblade?

KaixRei♀ o KaixÁmbar, también acepto sus versiones: yaoi (Amor de chicos, que sería como la idea original) y yuri (El amor de chicas o lesbianas jamás ha sido un problema, honestamente no me gusta la idea de que Kai tenga una versión siendo mujer y aunque mi amiga @prongsie hizo una “Kaia”… La acepto porque está con Rei onee-chan).

2. ¿Desde cuándo empezó a emparejarlos?

Desde el año 2004, que el KaixRei empezó a gustarme por el arte de varios BeyArtistas (Y una parte por las amistades como los fanfics) y por las “indirectas”, fanservice o la relación que tenían ambos personajes en el anime y algo en el manga (Que sería una versión neutral de todo, sin embargo, siempre hubo "algo" jaja).

3. ¿Por qué los emparejas?

Ambos son muy parecidos, son como el señor Darcy y Elizabeth “Lizzie” Bennet (Busco el mismo patrón) y empecé a emparejar su versión heterosexual cuando supe que al final, Rei Kon (Versión chico y original) se casó con Mao (Mariah) y quise reclamarle a Aoki-sensei (En ese tiempo, no lo respetaba como ahora y también me dejé llevar por la frustación, ya que como “pareja yaoi” nunca podrían estar juntos y se manifestaría ese deseo en sus hijos Gou Hiwatari y Rin Kon)… En mis tiempos, los Universos Alternativos no estaban de moda como hoy, quería un final alterno del final original y comencé a pedir firmas como a ganarme muchos enemigos… Pensaba que la versión KaixRei en un matrimonio de “hombre y mujer”, tendría éxito jaja… Y luego llegó el falso rumor del “Primer Manga Original de Beyblade” como a creer que Aoki-sensei lo había creado y abandonado.

4. ¿Qué tiene de especial?

Como dije, busco parejas que sean como el señor Darcy y Lizzie que son el típico hombre rico (Aunque a veces basta con la actitud y la personalidad, si no hay fortuna), calculador, “algo” gruñón, orgulloso y reservado, para luego mostrar un lado sensible que lo considerarían no muy apropiado para un “macho” (Pero sí para un masculinista)… Son chicos tsunderes, que les dan algunas actitudes femeninas; y la mujer “clásica” (Suena a sarcasmo, pero para mí es la mujer idónea) que actúa de manera masculina o se le considera machorra (Incluso se viste como un chico, en ocasiones) sin dejar de lado su fisionomía femenina, piensa por sí misma (También se arrepiente de sus errores), noble, alegre y segura... Una bokuko, porque la actitud tsundere ya viene como anillo al dedo con el primer término japonés, que al final se relaciona de manera natural con su compañero y siempre lo negará o hará despistes de eso.

5. Su primer fanfic que haya leído o que se haya inspirado para ese emparejamiento.

Honestamente, creo que serían las historias de Zanavalú, mi onee-sama de FF.net y aunque fueron borradas por dicha página web por mi “causa”, se llamaban: “La Doble Vida de Rei” y “El Triste Pasado de Rei”… Luego vinieron más, gracias a que estuve buscando gente y creía firmemente en dicho rumor, por lo que conocí fanfics como “Mi Querida Gatita” de Karura-San, que es Miss Étoile; “El sello del Tigre” que es el tercer fanfic de Zanavalú; y otros que siguen, aunque están en inglés y japonés en el Internet, algunos en español que también fueron borrados del Wattpad como “El chico que me gusta” y “Simplemente te amo”.

6. Tus autores favoritos cuyos fanfics te encanta leer con respecto a tu OTP (Preferencia sabia).

Zanavalú (Aunque sólo quedó en mi memoria), Karura-San (Antes de ser Miss Étoile), Tenshi Kanda (El tiempo que le invirtió, después abandonó el BeyFandom) y aunque suene ególatra, mis propias historias.

7. Fanfic favorito de todos los tiempos para tu OTP en el fandom.

“Simplemente te amo” por Tenshi Kanda, por otro lado, los que mencione anteriormente siguen siendo mis favoritos.

 8. ¿Cuántos fanfics / one-shots ha escrito para su OTP?

He perdido la cuenta… Porque cuando tuve mi comunidad en el antiguo y desaparecido Groups.msn, y la cuenta de FF.net que me hackearon… Tenía uno que se llama “4 sílabas: Fe-li-ci-dad” (Que nunca guardé), “Gymblade” y otros que no terminé... Esos sí los tengo en mis cosas, borradores sin terminar o simples ideas, como uno en mi Blogspot que mejor ignoramos y algunos fanfics escritos en mis eventos del fb que serían como 6 (Uno se repite) … Sí hablamos de Wattpad, oficialmente serían 4 terminados (En total son 6 y sólo hay 2 que no hablan de la pareja principal como protagonistas) y próximamente publicaré un One-Shot que fue para el evento de San Valentín 2021 (desde mi comunidad del fb).

 9. ¿Cuál es el mejor fanfic que ha escrito para su OTP?

Mi favorito es “El Orgulloso y la Prejuiciosa”. Los demás son geniales para mí, pero mi adaptación la amo.

10. ¿Sueñas despierto con tu OTP?

Sólo cuando se da la oportunidad, igual me ayuda a crear nuevas ideas para “Headcanons”, Fanfics, Fanarts, manualidades y lo que haga falta.

11. ¿Se queda dormido pensando en su OTP?

Logré soñar con ellos, en ciertas ocasiones coincidían en ideas específicas de mis aliados y amigos (Que nunca diré sus nombres).

12. ¿Cuáles son sus pistas / momentos favoritos de su OTP en la serie?

T1EP08, T1EP49, T2EP19, T2EP48, T3EP21 Y T3EP23, obviamente hay más pero esos 6 fueron los más esenciales.

13. ¿Cuál sería su reacción si su OTP resulta ser claramente no canónica? ¿O si resulta canónico?

Creo que ya dije como me sentí cuando terminó el manga y el anime, sin embargo… Sí hay una forma de hacerlo canónico, en su versión hetero efectivamente, como un “Reboot” (Ejemplo en “Saint Seiya”, cuando Shun es una chica en la adaptación de Netflix)… ¡Otou-sama sabe que intentaría pagárselo! ✨

14. ¿Cuál es tu género favorito para escribir en tu OTP? (Romance a parte)

Romacción, a veces con toques de comedia con sátiras y frases sarcásticas, y realmente no sería un sólo género en específico… ¡Serían de todo un poco!

15. Mencione algunos headcanons de su OTP.

1- Kai es un amante de los animales y cuando ve a Rei, se enternece de verla en su modo Gatita, que es cuando está de guardia baja; y la respeta en su modo Tigresa, como una gran rival.

2- A pesar de que Rei es una bokuko, eso no evita que Kai se fije en ella y a veces se fija mucho en su crecimiento (Entre el Beyfandom original japonés y algunos amigos internacionales, sabemos que ella es voluptuosa, pero prefiere vestir como hombre)… Aunque su personalidad, es lo que le vuelve loco y lo atrae a la vez.

3- Hiwatari tomó como prometida a Kon, por otro lado, lo dio por hecho y ella ni en cuenta, hasta que él tiene que declarárselo directamente en Beyblade Rising (Tomé esta idea del rumor de Beyblade R4).
