#robbed of sequels

In 2011 I drastically reduced my DWJ book intake to dripfeed levels, so it was only in the 2024 new year that I finally decided to read Deep Secret. My god - out of all her books this seems targeted at me personally? Stressed late-20-somethings, making fools of oneself in vicinity of fav authors, artist alleys?? Also, blatant unmistakable LGBT-rep??? I can't believe I slept on this one for so long!!! Definitely putting it on the upper tiers of my DWJ bookshelf.

Anyway, here's some designs I've whipped up for the characters! As always, might tweak 'em if ever I draw more in the future, but that's what's fun about figuring out character designs. Rob in particular is a joy to me.

Honestly, too bad there isn't really a day and night cycle in Forspoken. Because in that one cutscene, where we get a night ride from dragon mom, you see Junoon at night and it's freaking beautiful.

HEAR ME OUT STAR WARS FANS!!!

The sequel trilogy shouldn't have been made.....yet.

It should've been made AFTER Ahsoka. Because what if Ezra, Sabine, and Ahsoka make it back alive and their absence is never explained in the Sequel Trilogy???

I think the only reason Ezra and Ahsoka weren't in the sequel trilogy because casual fans didn't know of their existence and it wouldn't make any sense.

However, with the creation of Ahsoka, basically every star wars fan knows about the lesser known characters like Hera and Sabine.

The sequel trilogy should've been about older Luke, Leia and Han, and Ezra, Ahsoka, and/or Sabine helping out with the new Jedi Temple.

Just imagine how cool that would be!?

Imagine Ahsoka teaching Luke and Leia and sharing stories of Padme and Anakin.

They're standalone movies??? Always have been

Just because someone says "second movie in [franchise]" doesn't always mean they're talking about a sequel. Guys so many franchises have second movies that are not sequels of the first movie.

...Anyway they moved on to asking me questions about the Season 2 finale now, I scared them with KNOWLEDGE

speaking of epic mickey, here's a clip from a trailer of the scrapped epic mickey movie. I've heard that the unused plot for this was scrapped before July 2011, which was before any epic mickey 2 cinematics were made.

Even as a child, Randall knew it wasn't because Dorian enjoyed being the center of these parties (unlike what some suspected), it was simply because he wanted everyone to have a good time drinking, dancing, playing party games, and just overall having fun, and that especially went for Randall, who got to enjoy some of these lavish get-togethers through Dorian, who always insisted his best friend and his mother get to join in.

(And who knew-maybe that'd still be the case once they made it to California; Dorian throwing parties. They'd probably be scaled down from the wildly over-the-tip ones held at Gracey Manor, of course, but he could see his dear friend still putting quite a few on for even the most minute of celebrations.)

"I wish I could see these dresses too," he smiled, brightening at the idea of making him and Emily matching outfits, and especially giving his all when it came to his bride's dresses; he'd never do anything by half when it came to her. It was a shame she couldn't have brought them back with her from the future, he really would've liked to see them (and see if he'd any gotten better post-mortem-Lord knew he had all the time in the world to practice and improve!)
