I don't identify myself by the things I do. I think everyone can do both good and bad things, especially when they're as young as I am. I think of myself as someone who is existing and living in this world, but I am in no way defined by the things I do, but rather by how I respond to them and how I react if I've made a mistake.

6: are you religious/spiritual?

Definitely not religious, more agnostic in the way that i definitely think there's probably some sort of higher power out there, but i don't know what it is and i respect it's anonymity. I try not to overthink my existence or the existence of the spiritual beings of the world

21: do you love easily?

no. i have a hard time opening up and showing parts of myself to people, and I can't fall for someone unless i know them well. I have lost too many friends and been thrown aside time after time by people i trusted with the realest parts of myself to give them away so freely.

4: do you like your name?  is there another name you think would fit you better?

i didn't like my name for years, its an older name, and i haven't met many people under 60 who share my name, but i've grown to appreciate it. It's unique. i identify more with my nickname, one i gained through years of school and transitioned to online, which branched off into variations of that name on its own. Bean has become a part of me bigger than my given name ever has been.

7: do you care about your ethnicity?

I'm mostly white with a quarter Mexican in there. It's not something i spend much time focusing on or highlighting about myself, but its something i can appreciate.

16: if you’d grown up in a different environment, do you think you’d have turned out the same?

I dont think so. I have a lot of friends with different family situations, all of which shaped how they view themselves, or how much they had growing up. i never moved around, had two loving parents in stable jobs, and we are well off financially. I am very fortunate to have grown up the way i did, and who i am is sure to reflect that, if i had grown up differently, i would not have the same values or views on the world as i do.

27: do you feel like your outside appearance is a fair representation of the “real you”?

sometimes. i am not much of a person to care about how i present myself to the world. my style is basic, with comfortable jeans and often a sweatshirt or shirt depicting one of my interests. i don't dress particularly reflective of my interests or of how i think, just whatever i feel if comfortable and what i think looks nice.
