Cannot say I vibe with DXM.

I tried 2nd plateau (210mg RoboTablets) as this was my first time and I really did not want to overestimate what I could handle, and I am definitely glad that I did not. Walking was not only a chore but at some points was borderline impossible, and my body felt like it weighed a thousand pounds. The toilet was my real best friend during that whole experience. There is nothing left in my guts anymore and I still don't feel like eating anything. My forehead could power a nuclear reactor with how hot and sweaty it was while I was fighting for my life in that fucking bathroom. The peak was great though. Listened to some music and it blew my mind. I felt all this happiness, saw the beauty in literally everything, could not fathom any negative emotions at all for a bit, and then it just kinda ended. The come down is just. Boring and confusing, even when talking with a close friend. Time itself doesn't really make much sense either. It lasted about 4 maybe 5 hours and it just. Did not feel like anywhere near that. Felt more like 30 minutes, maaaaybe an hour? Honestly I can't say I really want to do it again? Maybe sometime. But it is not really my cup of tea.

as for whether or not i recommend it? well, uh...not explicitly, no. out of all the drugs i've done, dxm is the one which seems to hold the highest potential for harm. people can get addicted to it and develop or worsen depression from chronic use, and it's the only substance (besides alcohol) i've taken which is actually possible to overdose on.

i treat dxm very carefully and as something to not do often. people recommend that for each plateau you do, you wait that many number of weeks before doing it again (so if you do a 2nd plateau trip don't touch that shit again for 2 weeks at least). it CAN be done safely, but even when used sparingly it should still be thought of as essentially consuming a small amount of Hurt Myself Candy to the degree that you'll in all likelihood be fine in the long run but it should still be done with a mindset of caution.

basically if you ever feel the urge to do it more than once a week, uh...i dunno man just get addicted to weed or something instead. obviously it's still better to NOT develop a dependency on any sort of mind-altering recreational substance, but weed is probably the best drug to be addicted to if you know you're gonna develop a dependence to something because it's the least harmful (though still harmful when depended on).

anyway if you do want to delve into dxm i recommend exploring this website: https://erowid.org/chemicals/dxm/faq/dxm_faq.shtml and starting with a 1st plateau trip (use the calculator). i recently did a 2nd plateau trip with a thc-o edible on top of it and my phone literally felt like it was bent as i held it in my hands and my eyes could barely focus on anything and i moved like a skinwalker, it was pretty intense. and anything beyond that is where you might start to feel like you're dying (and if you for some reason decide to go way beyond that, like beyond a 4th plat dose, you might ACTUALLY start dying).
