Played my first game of Aquamarine by @postmark_games ! Fun little puzzle, perfect for winding down my weekend. I kept forgetting to mark my turns off because I was concentrating on drawing my dives 😅 but I think I might slip a copy in my work bag to play at lunch tomorrow. In "Dungeons, Dice & Danger" you have to fight monsters in the dungeons, find treasures and gain victory points. 5 dice are rolled, each player forms two pairs of the 4 white dice (only the starting player may use all 5), which then represent your action number. With the action numbers you can move and fight in the dungeon. Sometimes you need certain numbers to open a room or hit a monster. By the way, the fight for the monsters is exciting, because if you are the first to kill one, you get more points.👹 However, the interaction with the other players is rather low, because everyone plays on their own plan and everything happens in parallel after the dice are rolled. 🎲🎲 I also played some rounds solo. I always had to think about whether I'd rather explore the dungeon or fight. Here you get damage much faster and if you then roll badly, a solo game is quickly over. ⚔️⚔️ The level of difficulty is ideal. Not too easy, but not impossible either.
