I GOT INSPIRED

so I wrote this poem in the spirit of "Lover"

A Rose between two thorns

At the end of distant and pallid itinerary stands my suitor, his silhouette is delicate and durable the same. Gentle is my suitor, benevolent and witty as well. Visualizing my graceful journey to your sapphire passage, a window presenting your soul that captivates the masses . My awkward aura evoking a familiar chuckle that soothes my heart.

Thirteen coral colored petals bound tightly together, A bouquet so mature, elegant and fragrant, I grip firmly. Not tight enough to harm me. No. But tight enough to feel absolute refuge.

Memories of us reminisce in my thoughts, Taking a deep breath and mentally reciting my promises, promises of the permanent kind. Long forgotten butterflies have found their way into my heart.

With the sun kissing my face, I confidently saunter to that recognizable hymn. Nearing the end of my journey, so I thought, then placing my hand in yours, and falling into your kiss. I realized then that it was with you, when I began to live.

And so it is,

A rose, now gallantly blossoming between two thorns.
