Somehow I got sick, surprise surprise!! My brothers have been complaining about being sick and so have I but my mom has been ignoring me and dismissing me saying "it's probably just allergies" and only caring about my brothers. So here I am, waking up with the symptoms of strep throat while I know my mom is just going to insist that it's allergies. Once in January I got severely and I mean severely sick, I was sick for like 5-7 days ish?? Basically a week, but my mom waited for that whole week and a half just to take me to the doctor and it was only because my brothers had gotten sick after me. She will not take me to the doctor unless she or my brothers get really sick too, she does not give a fuck about me 😕

❜❛ Huh!? Fuck off, nerd. No I'm not. . . And mind'y fuckin' business. ❜❛

This is the 3rd time today I've caught Kacchan, not so discreetly, burning holes into the back of that poor girl's head. In other words, admiring her. He's infatuated with her. And i'm not the only one who's noticed his strange.. adoring behaviour towards her, either. Everyone knows he's been lowkey fascinated by her since the start of UA.. we are in the middle of the second year now.

They've gotten closer.

And his staring problem is getting worse.

Katsuki Bakugou is not staring. How can he, when he's too busy focusing on whatever the fuck Aizawa sensei is yapping about at the front of the class to notice the way the orange afternoon hue glows as it envelopes your entire being with a warm alluring aura and bounces off your full crown of curliness which gracefully falls and tumbles over each other to the opposite side of your face when your head tilts slightly towards the window, towards the warmth…

Ah. he spotted it.

“t's usually the first tell-tale sign of her attention span reaching its peak,” Bakugo thinks.

because as you begin mindlessly raking the pink stelleto— or whatever the name is of those fuckass nails of your fingers through the mixture of tight and loose coils of your hair in thought,

Your face softens. You're not focused. He scowls.

"..the idiot's lost in thought again." He mumbles to himself, making a mental note to hold you back at break to tell you off for daydreaming in class again. He's probably gonna have to drag you to the library to help you with the work you should be focused on. But then his observation changes suddenly.

"Wait, no, she's most likely remembering something... Probably not related to anything being taught," Bakugo figures, eyeing the way half the nail of your pinkie finger on the opposite hand disappears past your lips as you bite down on it, your rosey strawberry lipgloss smudges but you don't care.

He licks his lips subconsciously.

But then, you catch a singular curl in between your thumb and your first finger. Twirling it in your fingers helps you ground yourself, he remembers learning about you. And he's watching you intently now. Half wondering how soft it would feel in between his fingers instead because he knows this usually means you're in focus mode.

You're definitely trying to remember something. His head is propped up in his hand, his body is slightly turned toward you, so he can see the quick movement of your eyes scanning the room, but he knows you're not looking for anything in particular, you're mentally searching for a memory and making sure you're not missing any moments out.

He squints at you when you tilt your head back. And then you squint at the ceiling slightly as you start to think harder. "C'monn what are ya' daydreamin' about now air-head.." he wondered, tapping his finger against his temple impatiently watching you batter those dolly curled lashes a couple of times, and then,

You smile to yourself. Bingo.

But when you realise you accidentally let your nonchalance slip, your posture straightens and you immediately force your rosey strawberry gloss coated lips into a thin line. Bakugo smirks to himself because he knows you're not holding that face for long. And just like he predicted, you're in that position for like 4 seconds, he counts, until he catches the corners of your mouth twitch, reluctantly turning down into a downward smile.

You're fighting back a laugh.

And he fucking scoffs to himself in disbelief because he can practically read your mind by watching your facial expressions and knows what you're trying really hard not to even so much as giggle about, which is a comment he made last week which you've been giggling about all week. And yet, after all that time you should've gotten over it, you're still laughing about it.

And you're still losing.

He stares you down like he's challenging you not to crack. Because he knows you will. You always do. And he's so calling it. He's betting that restrained, trembling grin'll finally crumble so he can see your face beam again, just like you did when he first made that apparently hilarious comment.

And like clockwork, you fucking caved. You drop your head in defeat letting yourself experience the really funny conversation you had with him which he knows was not that fucking funny for the 58th time this week, stifling out a laugh through your nose, and dramatically throwing your head back like you're coming up for air with your thick head of curls following suit, bouncing as it flipped behind you, falling to frame your face differently from before; with that wide stupid dorky grin he's been waiting for plastered onto you're syrupy rosey lips.

❜❛ Thereee it is,❜❛ he smirks to himself ❜❛..fuckin' called it..❜❛ relishing in the warm, fuzzy feeling of self-satisfaction and pride that was growing in his chest and something else he couldn't put his finger on at the fact you were still fighting and failing to act unamused by a week old moment you two had and that stupid dorky smile he secretly adores seeing.

He lives for that smile. He truly does.

And when Kirishima spots him from his peripheral vision, he quickly nudges Denki beside him, directing his attention with two tilts of his head Bakugo's way and offers a knowing look, “He's doing it again.” and the boys both snicker quietly when he catches them, catching him catching you getting distracted and immediately faces forwards, grumbling something incoherent to himself

You being completely oblivious to what was going on, look over to where the source of the laughing was coming from, then to a frustrated pink eared Bakugo, then back to the window wondering how long it was until break time, blissfully unaware of the absolute mouthful the annoyed blonde two rows beside, one row behind you was planning to hand you in under 20 minutes

so, i'm raka. i've lurked around the internet for a little while now--since I was about five. restricted internet access? don't know her. i only started really participating in online communities when i was about 10, on quotev and amino (rip, it was a shitshow but i had a good time for the most part). at some point i just kinda...fell off of trying to find internet spaces? it didn't really feel fun anymore, y'know? i went back to lurking, looking at stuff i enjoyed/making things in silence.

well, fuck that. if i wanna have fun, i'm gonna make it fun. i love drawing, i always have!! i've been drawing since i was about five or six. it's always been an escape for me during REALLY rough times--it made me happy to draw my favorite characters, and even create my own! i love interacting with fandom spaces too, finding folks who are into the same stuff i am. connecting with strangers is fun, when you don't really know anybody irl who shares your exact interests!

Hello! Here is some info on my Oc's! Also, I would like to preface this by saying I can't take full credit for them my friend Rosey (roseysquaredoodles) was also part of creating them! you should check her out she does a lot of painting. 🥰

-Atlas- (middle) Atlas is the main fella; he is at the center of everything. He has been able to see ghosts since he was a kid. He would often tell his family and friends about the ghosts and would often be shut down and told he was lying. Feeling ostracized from everyone he starts keeping to himself only ever talking with ghosts rather than living people in secret. Years later he finds himself caught talking to a ghost by his father. His father angry and frustrated with him threatens to send him to a psych ward. Atlas, not wanting to be sent away and tired of the people around him calling him crazy decides to run away, stealing his mom's van and leaving. He's been living on his own for a while now at this point, until someone recognizes him at a gas station. Worried about being caught, he fully flees the state. Now he finds himself at an abandoned city. He gets an eerie feeling from the place but doesn't think much of it. He ends up running into a very talkative ghost, Claude.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ -Claude- (right) Claude is a ghost that died an unfortunate death sometime in the 1900's. He was an aspiring journalist trying to get his big break before his death. Now he wanders the streets of New Catherine as a ghost trying to find out more about the city and his fellow ghosts. However, they tend to ignore him. Today is different though, he notices Atlas walk into the city, curious what a living person like him is doing here. He ends up following him for a while unaware Atlas can hear and see him. He goes on and on talking to himself theorizing things about Atlas. Atlas unsure how to tell him he can see him gives him some awkward glances. Claude noticing his weird behavior takes a moment before it clicks. "Wait... YOU CAN SEE ME, CAN'T YOU?". Claude doesn't even give Atlas a moment to speak before he starts asking him questions one after another. Atlas not sure how to respond to all of the questions just stares awkwardly. Eventually Claude realizes he's been yapping his ear off, and they share names. Claude excitedly heads to the spot him and Mave hang out.

Mave is a ghost from the early 2000's. The night of her first big performance she ends up panicking on stage due to stage freight. Unable to stand all the eyes on her she runs out of the venue. One of her bandmates tries to catch up with her, she tells him she can't do it. He tries grabbing her shoulder to try and reassure her, however she pulls away from him and ends up slipping off the sidewalk into an oncoming car, she died instantly. Unable to move on she stays a ghost living in New Catherine. She ends up becoming friends with Claude sometime after her death. After she became a ghost the people of New Catherine started to leave the city. Multiple people from the city told news reporters that something felt wrong about the place, and they felt they had to leave. Eventually the city was deserted, and nature began to have its way with the buildings. The weird phenomenon left people freaked out and now anyone who enters the area gets an eerie feeling that something is wrong. Now all that was left was a pretty substantial population of ghosts who hadn't moved on. It's been a while since this happened now, but Mave doesn't seem to think anything of it. However, Claude is quite skeptical and intrigued by this weird phenomenon. The day Atlas shows up in the city Claude brings him to meet her telling him all about her music. Claude introduces Atlas to Mave, excited about the fact that Atlas can see ghosts. Mave is intrigued by that fact and the three of them end up talking for a while (A lot of it is Claude). Eventually the topic of the city being abandoned gets brought up, and Mave tells Atlas what happened. Atlas's curiosity being piqued decides he wants to stay and learn more about this place. And that's where the story starts :) I will try to make some more posts in the future on them like this, but I am awful with words and procrastinate a lot lol. I would love to write more about their dynamics and personalities eventually :) But yeah, that's a lot of the information on them. They were created for a game me and my friends want to create someday. But that project is on standby until we find the time. And I just want to work on my art and animation skills more before we really get into it so I can do it well.
