random little hc time - is it because i went to see top gun maverick last night? possibly. BUT ANYWAY .. if gunner hadn’t gone into the nfl, he would have gone into the navy as a pilot and would have attended top gun. he briefly considered joining after his injury because he couldn’t play anymore, but the sustained complications with his injury mean he’d never pass a physical.

BACKGROUND

    Talia didn’t have an easy upbringing , at all . Her mother was pretty much non-existent in her life from early on . Talia and her mother didn’t have much money growing up, so her mother worked a lot to try and make things meet . Her mother had been the one who took care of her , as her Dad hadn’t been around since before she was born . As years went by , Talia would spend time with her friends more than at home . She would sleep over at their house , without her mother knowing where she was . The toll of not having money , took over her and she started dating a man who was not a good guy . Talia’s mother started using drugs and would be so out of it and she lost her job , too .

    When Talia was nine years old , she was taken away from her mother’s care and put in the foster system . Honestly , Talia didn’t mind getting away from there . She was absolutely miserable living with her mother. She was going to be put into a foster family, and when she found out who , she ran . She managed to leave the house and she got a bus ticket and went to Roswell ; where her aunt lived . The authorities found her , quickly and wanted to bring her back to Delaware . But , her aunt came up with a suggestion – she said that Talia could live with her instead , as it would be better for her to be with family than someone completely unknown ( and thankfully , Talia and her aunt had a good relationship ) . Thankfully , they allowed Talia to live in Roswell , as it was more safe for her to do so .
