Confess, Fletch [trailer]
After becoming the prime suspect in multiple murders, Fletch strives to prove his innocence while simultaneously searching for his fiancé's stolen art collection.
The introduction of some of the characters is mildy irritating. Like the neighbour with the dog. But after a while it pays off and the movie acquires some screwball comedy quality and turns into decent entertainment.
A number of times I was wishing that the dialogue was just a little bit funnier. With the sharpest being Fletch's conversations with Detective Monroe.
