thinking that celebrities are sending out coded messages through social media and thinking that you can read specific emotions and thoughts from body language is unhealthy.

you do not know these people. it is impossible to know what they are thinking or feeling based on pictures or even videos.

if the argument is that you see a pattern: humans have a predilection for seeing patterns where there arent any, hence the over abundance of conspiracy theories in general.

mike and peter were very good friends when the monkees first started (quote from stephen stills where he said the first thing that happened after peter joined the monkees is that he liked mike) and they lived together and it was all fine and beautiful and then they didn’t live together and mike started being a bitch to him because he was definitely jealous that peter was a better musician than him. they used to collaborate so well and then mike was going around saying he never liked peter they never got along but they did. mike was just soooo repressed that instead of being beautiful friends he just decided to hate peter. peter literally had gay sex at least once. mike was deeply closeted. it’s about the psychosexual nature of it and the rivalry and the drama. i could get into the fact that they were like super similar and mike kept claiming they were so not friends. like there’s soo much more but they’re both dead and i feel like it would take me forever to explain and go through every strange moment they had together. the resentment that is formed because of mikes repression and psychosexual obsession. um but basically they should’ve just fucked instead. there’s a watch that is significant too. sorry if this makes me sound insane.
