In every time i fail i never cursed the sky or anybody! I know there is growth from it and i need to hold on little bit longer! I am not talking just only me but also to many out there who have been pressured to the state they want to give up! . To master something or get to know it better, we need to study it closely or take time to reflect and meditate it! In distance running, it takes courage, consistency, persistence, patient and hard work with smart approach to get where you what to go! But this doesn't mean you will get a clear shot along the way! A lot have be done or taken into consideration! you will need to very strong! If you don't get prove from others that you can do it! Don't mind that! It is you who are responsible of your own dream and happiness!you don't need it either!! Don't let the voice of fear, voice that distract you from focus to hinder your mission! Just shut your ears, open your eyes and allow your heart guide you! My P. E Teacher believed me more than my brothers and closer friends. He made me have more confidence in myself than i had, that i will be a good runner! With that spirit, i kept hope and worked hard and i still on that road! Do not give up! A RUNNING COACH & A MASTER RUNNER IN TRIATHLON AND RUNNING . . Who inspires you to keep running?and what is your source of Motivation? Coach Mike, is a triathlon coach and a running coach and loves cycling! He is a former triathlete and now a master who is at 55 and can run this fast. . A year ago, a visitor to Kenya had a chat with me while running and he asked me how old i was! I told him i was 29 and he smiled and told me that i had a few years to run! In my mind i was asking myself how he got to know how long i will be a running! I asked him his age and told me 47yrs and i told him, 'you can still run' 😊! . My point here is, in running age is just a number! I have seen many old people run and make history! So do not discouraged and see that running is for young people but for all people at all ages! . Coach Mike as a PB in M50+ in 1:14 and 5km in 16min. I always have reasons why i should keep running! This is my happiness this is who i am! A Runner! ? How fast can you run at your age? . One of that moment you want to feel good! Keep your mind away from the stressful time from work and think of the better and peaceful time ahead! NOT AFRAID OF HAILSTONES . Sometime memories took me back when i was very young and i can remember how it used to rain! The worst part was if hailstone would fall! It used to destroy our crops especially tea plantation which my mother depended on to take of us. I would follow her to the farm to see hailstone and i can hold it to feel that cold! It looked like small ice cube, i was stupid, i used to put it my mouth sometimes i can start crying 😢! Not because i out it in the mouth but why this beautiful looking thing is not sweet!! That was childish though but until recent i came to realize how my mother worked hard whether it rained hailstone! She didn't uproot or cut entire tree plantation because of rainstorms but instead she can cut out affected branches and in few days i can see it grown beautiful than the other branches which she didn't cut as it was okay. Same to us runners, we don't stop running because it hurts or we didnt get our PB or finishing or the goal we ever wanted instead, we need to work out those areas we are WEAK! If we do that, we not only get STRONG but also have more EXPERIENCE from the CHALLENGE or FAILURE ! In the past weeks there as been many races around the world and MANY of us have participated! We have won, DEFEATED , achieved the goal or not ACHIEVED it but we remain RUNNERS and we will keep WORKING out, not because we WON or LOSE , Achieved or not but because we are runners!
