I’m bored and it’s 00:09 at my place rn so here’s some personal Gorillaz headcanons of mine. (and no there’s no specific order so enjoy ig)

When Noodle was about 10, she’d always sneak into Russel’s (or 2-D’s) room to cuddle up with him whenever it was raining at night or if she had a nightmare.

2-D has the worst eyesight out of the four, even worse than Russel’s for some reason.

Noodle’s hair during Phase 1 (that weird buzzcut) is because of Murdoc’s antics; Russel told him to cut her hair as it was getting too long, and… it came out funky.

Noodle’s iconic helmet is gifted from Murdoc after he failed to cut the girl’s hair correctly. A walkman was also gifted with the helmet.

During the recording of TNN, 2-D just kept writing songs that always tied back to Murdoc; he tried to change said lyrics, but it just wouldn’t work, so he went with it (not that he minds much, anyways).

Noodle and Ace were childhood friends. First becoming friends after about a few months of living in Kong Studios up until the El Mañana incident, which caused them to cut contact for a long while until Phase 5, where they reconciled.

Russel and Murdoc had known each other for a long time before Gorillaz had even been formed, and they’ve been dating on and off during those moments before Gorillaz. Now with the formation of the band, they’re closer than ever.

Russel has given Murdoc a taxidermy of a crow in remembrance of Cortez, though it’s never been the same for the bassist.

2-D had played dress-up all the time during Phase 1 with Noodle; playing princess, having tea parties, even sleepovers!

When Noodle had her first period, Murdoc was confused as hell (and was briefly disgusted), 2-D was more curious as to why and how, and Russel just became the dad, buying her chocolate, bringing hot water bottles to relieve any pain, and he even buys her tampons and pads if she ran out (true dad indeed). Applies to every phase basically.

Del likes to play with Noodle whenever Russel lets him. It’s quite the sight, a little Noodle being taught how to gamble by one of the funkyphantoms living inside Russel’s body.

When you asked 2-D for help with doing the laundry, he accidentally poured in crack instead of detergent in the washing machine. Your clothes that were unlucky enough to be washed in that washing machine 2-D used reeked of drugs for a long while, and 2-D apologized profusely and even bought you new ones to replace the old ones.

2-D definitely likes it best when you walk together in a park holding/ linking hands; he feels that there’s a bond forming (and he won’t bump everywhere as he can’t see well at all).

2-D asked you out to the local chippy during your first date with him, and he tried his best to impress you, all calm and prepared and all. It’s just that special 2-D charm that always gets you.

Murdoc, who successfully coaxed you into entering his Winnebago with him, realized that it was all messy and definitely made your skin crawl. He tries to quickly clean it up, but it fails. At least he gave you a big, fat barrage of apologies and hugs for the mess.

Murdoc definitely does not do/ enjoy PDA very much, but whenever there’s S/O’s ex/ enemy nearby, he’d get all close and cuddly to you all of a sudden. You like it when he’s like this.

Murdoc would definitely take you to a fancy-enough pub for your first date with him; he even took a shower and he wasn’t too rude to everyone involved, and it was all just to impress you! If that isn’t dedicated, you didn’t know what was.

Russel… he accidentally spilled some animal blood on you when he was doing one his taxidermy projects. You said it was only a small splatter, but he offered to clean it squeaky clean, even if it isn’t very noticeable at best.

Russel likes long, cold walks during winter with you. He always says that the snowflakes falling are like you dancing and falling from above.

Russel during the first date would take you out for a picnic in the park, or perhaps a midnight stargazing experience with him. He’s more of a person who’s enjoy doing these little things with you, and it warms your heart. It does, really.

Noodle would collect little things like seashells or little scraps of things to make you a pretty bracelet/ ring/ necklace out of. Noodle broke one of these that she gave you earlier in the day/ month/ year on accident, and she treated you like a queen for the rest of the day, even if you try to convince her that it’s no big deal.

Noodle likes to go out and adventure with you into the woods, a creek, places like that and such in search of memories and little bits and bobs.

Noodle took you out to out to dinner at her place, as she thinks that this’ll impress you, and it did; her room was tidy, the food was amazing, and Noodle was just all around perfect. You couldn’t take your eyes off her, not even for a minute.

Whenever Murdoc just wouldn’t shut up at times when Russel was too tired to have sex in bed, he would just let his cock sit in the bassist’s mouth; a semi-replacement for sex when the drummer’s too tired to do so.

OK GOD OK SO. fnaf Gorillaz au. BUT. it's a bit more complicated than that, it's not a 1-to-1 theyre the same for like, anything, it's basically "Gorillaz characters and their backstories are essentially the same except theyre in a completely different setting mirroring the events of fnaf"

OK SO. I'll try to make this as short as I can

-Murdoc is William Afton

-Russel is Henry Emily

-Noodle is an amalgamation of those two's children who died in accidents

-2-D is a nightguard

(I thought Russel and Murdoc would be perfect for Henry and William because they're both really into robots)

OK. so. in this, Murdoc and Russel are partners. they adopt this kid, Noodle, together, and realize that like them she really loves technology and music. (it's easier to combine William and Henry's families into one since there aren't many gorillaz characters) they just think the world of Noodle, they love her more than anything, so they build two springlock suits to entertain her. 1 (Spring Bonnie) Cortez the Raven and 2) (Fredbear) Katsu the Cat. Noodle loves these things to death, and one day she decides that she wants to try on the springlock suit, and she died (kind of mirrors both El Mañana and the tragedies that struck in fnaf)

well understandably, this destroyed Murdoc and Russel. so they opened up a pizzeria (known for their off the walls flavors) to maybe, hopefully fill the void of making that kid happy with their animatronics. this time, with a different Cat animatronic with sunglasses, Mike the Monkey, and a new, colorful Cortez the Raven, as well as an unnamed Pig (also I'm not entirely sure if Golden Freddy and Fredbear are one in the same tbh but there would be a fifth)

well Murdoc decided he just couldn't stand it anymore and he wanted to make a deal with Satan. if he sacrificed five children, he could get Noodle back. so he killed these bullies that frequented the pizzeria

those bullies being, the gangreen gang. well Russel just felt awful about this, I mean his friends were killed, he's gonna have strong feelings about these kids being killed. so he tried everything to bring them back, taxidermy, prosthetics, but he found out that stuffing them in suits did the trick, but because their souls then went into the animatronics, the deal did not work

well anyway I forgot a lot of what I was trying to remember today but shit hits the fan in every way imaginable, Murdoc gets springlocked and then Russel has no friends, no family, no partner, and really no reason to live so he burns down the pizzeria with him inside

I also want to do something with Cyborg Noodle- like, in the books, Charlie was a robot the whole time and had no idea the real her died as a child

OH I forgot to mention 2-D becomes a night guard bc he heard some freaky shit went down and he wants to know All The Secrets he's very curious about it. like a real life horror movie. he probably would also be like Phone Dude from fnaf 3 (really excited about the murders to the point of salvaging everything from the fire to make it a horror attraction)

as in one of my previous hc dumps, I have stated that Russel and Murdoc first met during their school days

and they interacted during a school collaboration, with the two pitted against eachother in tug-of-war, guess who won

sometimes when he’s had a nightmare of his past rape, he’ll either ask Russel to come to him

or attempt to sneakily enter the drummer’s bedroom and sleep near him instead and attempt to big spoon the big man and epically fail

and if Murdoc’s nightmare was too much, he’ll start crying and asking out for Russel

and when the drummer arrives, he tries to comfort the bassist and tell him to let it all out

the two cuddle with each other for the rest of the night, Murdoc burying his face into Russel’s chest, feeling his warm heartbeat

when D-Day happened, he was dangerously high on alcohol and the crash severely impacted the two

if Murdoc did finish another sip of wine before it happened, it’d be game over for the bassist before he achieved stardom

his relationship with Russel is quite an intimate yet secret one iykyk russdoc shippers, I see you

so when it’s just the two of them, they’ll get all lovey-dovey, but when they’re in public, they tone down the PDA as much as possible with some exceptions.. . Murdoc horny lol

Murdoc has attempted to claw at Russel’s CGM once, (this is explained in my Russel headcanon dump. also don’t do this! It’s dangerous!)

and he still apologizes to Russel about that until this day, even if the band has mostly forgotten about it.

due to his quite abusive childhood, he’ll try to act all tough before eventually cowering when someone of higher strength outwits him or worse

and whenever he gets into fights, Russel is there to fix his ‘boo-boo’s’ as he says, russel really is the dad here

whenever Murdoc’s head is pounding bad, he’d take an unhealthy amount of aspirin and painkillers

and he keeps some crack and weed stashed under one of the drawers in his Winnebago in case pain killers ain’t doing their job well enough

he once let Noodle paint the outsides of his Winnebago, never again

lots of bites, hickeys, kisses and licking when in bed and you end up smelling like alcohol and drugs the next morning even if you hadn’t done any of them

sometimes when Murdoc wants to get away from it all, he’ll bring either Noodle or Russel out for a night stroll

just to have a little bit of bonding together, stargazing, talking, whatever

Murdoc’s envious that the fans seem to be liking 2-D more than himself, so he regularly beats him up just to make him seem more ugly even if the end result isn’t exactly what he envisioned, he also just does it for the thrill
