But in all seriousness, it just makes me helplessly furious to meet people in cozy West European homes who don't even take that cowardly, self-deluding stance of "uwu if we keep giving Putin what he wants then SURELY he'll be satisfied one day and leave us alone", but just. outright. go "the people of Ukraine (and Poland and the Baltics and Finland and...) are a good and virtually cost-less sacrifice to Putin for us to make to keep us cozy".
The first kind of people are making me despair with how WILFULLY ignorant you can be.
The second kind. Just this helpless fury. I wanna hit them with furniture. Pure hatred. Fucking scum.
Oh and "well if they don't want to be attacked by the Russians they could just move away from territory Russia wants", which is??? So beyond words???

Our intelligence has gained the information that Russia is considering committing a terrorist act at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant - a terrorist act with the release of radiation. They have prepared everything for this.
Unfortunately, I already had to remind more than once that radiation knows no national borders, and who it hits is determined only by the direction of the wind.
We are sharing all available information with our partners - everyone in the world. All the evidence. Europe, America, China, Brazil, India, the Arab world, Africa - all countries, absolutely everyone must know this. International organizations. All of them.
There should never be any terrorist attacks on nuclear power plants, anywhere. This time it should not be like with Kakhovka: the world has been warned, therefore, the world can and must act.

Yesterday, my parents were preparing to take off for their first vacation in three years. They were drinking coffee in the kitchen when they heard the explosion, which vibrated through the city. The russians launched anti-aircraft missiles, which, when used against civilian objects in close proximity to the border, are almost impossible to intercept. The air raid went off a few minutes after the explosion, not before, so the people whose house was hit by the missile had no way of knowing about the danger. They were elderly people who spent their lives building their house, which is now in ruins. The wife died, and the husband lived. Their dog, as of now, might or might not live. It could have been anyone's house. It could have been mine.

The Nazi régime in Germany fell in 1945. Its criminals are still being prosecuted.
From June 1943 to April 1945, she worked as a stenographer and typist  at the Stutthof death camp, near what was then Nazi-occupied Danzig and is now Gdansk. An estimated 65,000 people died at Stutthof, including Jewish prisoners, Polish partisans and Soviet Russian prisoners of war.
The prosecution had said the defendant's clerical work "assured the smooth running of the camp" and gave her "knowledge of all occurrences and events at Stutthof."
Defense attorneys had called for their client to be found not guilty, arguing she was unaware of the scope of the murder and crimes committed at the camp.
The judges in the case had visited the former Stutthof camp to clarify which areas she could see from her office at the time. They concluded that it was "simply beyond imagination" that she had not noticed the mass killings.
"During her time at Stutthof, the defendant did not remain unaware of what was happening there," Dominik Groß, the presiding judge, said.
Irmgard F. remained silent during much of the trial, but said toward the end: "I'm sorry for everything that happened. I regret that I was in Stutthof at the time. I can't say anything else."
This should serve as a warning to Russians committing war crimes and crimes against humanity in Ukraine. They will never be let off the hook. If any are still alive in 2099, they will be prosecuted. There should be no amnesty for such crimes.

I want to mention once again that Ukraine spent this winter with a large percentage of our energy system destroyed by russian bombs and the largest nuclear power plant held hostage by russians - which, I remind, is still the case, russians still torture the personnel of Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, and still keep military equipment with explosives inside the nuclear plant, endangering most of Europe.
Through the winter, when power consumption is the highest because we need heating, Ukrainian energy infrastructure persisted under bombs, despite all destructions. Thanks to Ukrainian Armed Forces and energy specialists, we are meeting spring with power in our homes.

Today is Holodomor Remembrance Day.
The moment I started writing this sentence an air raid siren started wailing outside my window (second one today, already, of course). So i guess our terrorist neighbours really haven’t forgotten about their genocide against us, despite always denying it, eh?
And while Ukrainians at home and everywhere in the world mourn millions of our people, who were starved brutally by totalitarian soviet regime, here’s a 10 minute video with English subtitles (!!!) on the history of Holodomor-Genocide. Please educate yourself. Learn history. Don’t let it repeat itself.
There are enough motherfuckers out there, doing exactly that by trying to deny facts and erase truth:

Another example of "ordinary russians".
And these people say that Ukrainians are Nazis....
Tumblr media
Translation:
«Recently, our comrade-in-arms, Igor Bereg Mangushev, made a provocative performan ce and performed on stage with "poor Yorick" because of this, not only the Ukrainians, but also ours began to say "we are not like that, ew,ew,ew",damn moralists. You know what, comrades "we not like that"? Go to hell - we are even worse than the "not like that" . We are much more than that!
Unlike you, those who jerked off and served the Minsk betrayal for eight years, telling how good Donbas will be as part of Ukraine, we declared a total war on Ukrainians, Ukrainians and all their accomplices - the entire Western world. We, unlike you, lying and false moralists do not let the murder of russians, shot legs, stabbing in the eye and abuse of our prisoners get away with. We are russians. We are like that. We are greedy for the Truth, greedy for life and justice. Even the western rabble McFaul understood us and drew conclusions.
And only thanks to people like that and not "we are not like that" ,people just like us (some Vanya , Peter ,Igor Mangushev) ,who declared a total war on Ukraine, this war will be won, Ukraine will be destroyed, and Ukrainians will be exterminated as phenomenon.
Because there are no Ukrainians, there are the fooled russians, who are waiting for the fate of poor Yorick, in Mangushev's fate»

Once Upon The War: Introducing The Kharkiv School Of Photography
Kharkiv School of Photography is an artistic milieu that emerged in the 1970s in the city of Kharkiv, Ukraine. It was a school of aesthetic thought which never had any official status, where ‘education’ happened in clubs and coffee shops — not a school to attend classes. Still, the artists created an original visual language that broke free from the dominant Soviet dogma in arts. It defined the discourse for the next generations in Kharkiv and entire Ukraine and evolved into a distinctive aesthetic system, offering a documentary chronicle of over 50 years of its history.
Heavily bombed by the Russian army, several photographers of the group still remain in Kharkiv, as others managed to escape leaving their archives behind. An operation to preserve these documents is ongoing.
Viktor Kochetov creates work with his son Sergiy. They are well-known for hand-colouring black and white prints in the tradition of luriki — enlarged, retouched and often tinted photographic portraits.
