HC that because Richie and Ruth died in a black altar, they came back as weaker ghosts than Max (since Waylon Hall was the only place with the actual curse implemented) and therefore only Pete can see them.

I like this HC because i don't like how Pete didn't like react enough to his literal best friends dying, so in my head, it's because they didn't leave him. The way he reacts to "Richie's dead???" sounds almost like he's confused, so in my head, it's because Richie has been following him around, acting weird but he didn't know he was dead until Shapiro said so.

I also just wanted to figure out how to draw these nerds cause i love them so much and I like how they look her so I'll prolly stick with these designs

Nerdy prudes must die Duo swap AU!!

This is my AU about Hatchetfield, but everyone's swapped! Below is a list of how it works out. (and some more art)

Grace Chasity <- -> Max Jagerman

-Grace is a literal monster. She rules the school now, and has a crush on Max, much to his disgust. She comes to old Waylon house and falls three stories, coming back and killing Ruth in the second act. And in dirty girl (now dirty boy) Grace wears a sports bra and jeans while Max has a rash guard and swim trunks.

-Max is a religious puritan, he wears dress shoes to school. Max enters the theater holding a sign about canceling the dance, and he ends up summoning the lords with Steph and Pete, inevitably being corrupted in the end. He still rides a bike with an ooga horn, and enjoys the color pink.

Richie Lipschitz <- -> Ruth Fleming

-Richie is the uh, sexually outspoken one now; cue him having a crush on both Steph and Peter, but this time its different!! He dies by wedgie, after singing a song akin to just for once. (I just wanna see Jon play Ruth)

-Ruth is always referencing musical theater, and she definitely has a more intense lisp cause with a Richie personality I feel like she needs to up the annoying factor. Ruth dies of disembowelment after singing a crazy duet with Max, and she also gets to the sing the "I'm deaaad" in the beginning of High school is killing me.

Stephanie Lauter <- -> Peter Spankoffski

-Steph is the main nerd now! Instead of suspenders, she's got pigtails; and instead of being into chemistry, she's in concert band and her favorite subject is language arts! I can't remember a time Mariah has played someone who wasn't at lease six on the cool scale, so Its pretty fun to imagine this one!

-Peter is the cool, probably bi dude that every highschool has at least two of. And now he's got Steph's attitude which hopefully doesn't make him seem like a womanizer, but he thinks Steph is funny, and they still fall in love the same way.

Okay I know it's been a while since NPMD came out but here's my Richie Lipschitz hc: he's deaf or hard of hearing

This is both me projecting my own disability onto a character I like and reasonable due to how Jon played him

The over annunciation of his p's t's and r's is because of speech therapy and trying to fit in at a mainstream school

I know him being a superfan of anime is part of his nerdyness but I know lots of deaf/hoh people who love anime because it's guaranteed to have captions and lots of stuff either doesn't have them at all or is the shitty automatic ones

Falling all over himself as Zeke the Fightin' Nighthawk? He can't hear the music beat or anyone telling him what to do and it's so hard to see in mascot costumes he can't tell when someone tells him to get out of the way

I do think Ruth and Pete would 100% learn ASL or PSE for him

For sure if he had them that boy would have decorated his hearing aids with anime stuff

Probably like Ruth's headgear, his deafness would absolutely have him labeled a nerd and outcast by the school bully

Apparently in the audio commentary Ruth kept having to tell him he's being too loud when he's doing the Naruto run on the way to the Waylon house

It's in a reblog but he asks people to repeat things and he makes sure he's looking at them when they repeat it

Nerdy Prudes Must Survive

Zombie Apocalypse AU I started a bit ago :3 There are TGWDLM/BF/NMT characters in it and such but the main focus is these guys so they get references <3

I'm having a lot of fun writing this and also drawing some comics and stuff for it ehehe

Grace's outfit was really fun to design ehehehe and also figuring out how I wanted to zombies specifically to look was fun as well. They look different depending on how long they've been turned!!

battle of the bands au where the nerdy prudes have been in a band since they all became friends in middle school and it’s senior and they finally got enough courage to actually sign up. but their bassist is travis coulson, their friend who transferred to sycamore, and therefore is “not allowed” to perform in battle of the bands. they put up signs for an auditions but no one tries out for the spot bc they’re such losers. then in a lemonade mouth moment steph and richie get detention together (steph for being on her phone, richie for telling the teacher she’s an idiot) and richie finds out steph plays bass. he begs her to join so they can still compete and she honestly does it bc he’s making them sound so pathetic and she feels bad for him. then she joins and falls in love w pete during the practices and they win!
