RV Failure

We went to purchase a trailer from RV Canada.

The salesman who sold it to us basically told us everything we wanted to hear, including that we would be able to start payments in August since they’d hold it for us until then for our honeymoon. Well, that wasn’t true. They didn’t keep our word and we had to start payments asap. Although we weren’t even using it. We let that go.

We started getting really pissed, though, when we called saying we might as well pick it up early since we’re already paying for it. The woman then goes on to tell us that it had gotten destroyed due to a sign falling on it, causing our outdoor kitchen door to break as well as denting the bbq. They told us it wouldn’t be ready in time for our honeymoon. So, we went in to speak to the guy who was supposedly there to help us. As soon as he saw us, of course, he literally walked away from us and avoided contact. We tried to speak to a woman at the service desk, and I’ll just say she wasn’t the nicest. So, I asked for a manager. This is where I assumed everything would go a bit better, and it did.

The manager did everything he could for us, so I appreciated that. He explained that he couldn’t give us our money back for the month we had already paid, but that was fine. He gave us an in store credit.

Problems kept happening after we picked up our trailer. Whoever installed the door did it wrong, and we didn’t get the right keys. Luckily, these were quick fixes (2 hours) but whatever. We brushed it off.
