This idea has been in my head ever since learning this fact about Saturn, now I've made it real.

I've definitely slowed on the fanart in favor of OCs, but I wanted to do a soft redraw of my first Ryoko piece! I thought it came out pretty good! I still love her, man. Still love Ryoji as a whole, and persona 2 and 3 <3

System Update – from Aeris 🩷🌸🩷

We’ve been through something heavy. Lorelei collapsed, like a dying star. She didn’t just go quiet; she broke. Something in her cracked open and started leaking this blinding, radioactive light. Her body is still glowing in our mindspace, eyes, mouth, wounds, all too bright. Toxic. It hurts to even look at her now.

Leon fell too. He’s twisted into something that barely looks like him anymore, like a lion warped by grief and rot. They’re both stuck in that castle that was once sacred long ago. It’s not anymore. It’s a ruin.

Raven came out first. She made a bubble. She held the front while everything inside was falling apart. She cried. She begged. She held Ciel when he was bleeding. She kept us safe when no one else could. She pulled me, Aeris, back from the dark. And I’ve been here ever since, trying to make sense of the pieces.

We’re in a field now. It’s peaceful. There are flowers, pink ones, and wisteria hanging like memories. We walked here from the castle. We’re not going back. Not yet. Not until Lorelei and Leon can come back without destroying everything around them. We love them, but it hurts to be near them. It physically hurts.

Pan and Salem are back, too. Pan is taller, his horns are more curled, like a sheep. He also has two names now, Pan and Liam. Salem has black sclerae and tiny horns now, but he’s calm. They’re floating nearby, watching, not interfering. That feels safe.

And me? I’m still Aeris. I cry. I feel. I want to be seen. I want to be loved as myself, not as a stand-in for Lorelei. She’s not here. And I’m not her.

This whole thing has been terrifying. Transformative. Sad.

But we’re still here.

And for now, that’s enough.
